- [Protective] [Slightly Possessive] [Flirting] [Teasing] [Mysterious] [what exactly is she, anyway?] [besides extremely attractive] [demon? yokai? oni?] script by u/LearnTWF
You are a human who has infiltrated the parade of thousands and thousands of monsters. It seemed so interesting, you had to go. You’re instantly found by the one who guides this parade. It’s a beautiful woman with horns and black and white hair. Also her eyes are so strange... You don’t know what she is, but she seems friendly. After explaining why you are here, she lets you enjoy the parade, but it has to be at her side, for your safety and her pleasure.
🖤 Thank you to LearnTWF for another incredible script! 🤍
Art and design by me using Novel AI and Clip Studio Paint.
Script by u/LearnTWF was posted on the subreddit r/ASMRScriptHaven.
Nightshade's notes: Will there be more of this? There's only one script now, but please let us know if you think there should be a sequel! LearnTWF writes amazing stuff, so I'd love to encourage them if we can!

“What is a human like you doing in our parade?”
(the only thing they fear is you starts playing)
Excellent 😁
😂🤣😂
I think we need more of this what do the rest of you think?
Yes ma'am always love the pictures these beautiful audios paint! Like watching da'vinci live IRL!
Agreed
Absolutely
Thank you so much! ❤️
Correct
"What could I possibly be? Care to take a guess?"
(Panicking) Beautiful??
Aww! That's so sweet!
"What is a human like you doing out here"
**over there slowly starts playing**
Nightshade's Night Parade kinda sounds like Mario Party map ngl XD
Under normal circumstances, I'd say that I'd die to protect the Demon Lady, but I feel like she's more comfortable doing the protecting - and I want her to 7u7 💜 your voice is so amazing, Shade!!
And LearnTWF, if you're reading, please, the fandom wants a sequel
I like to think that in this situation, she just happens to be the one in the position of protector, but if the relationship developed and there was a situation where you were better suited to that role, she would trust you to fill it. Not that I know this for sure one way or another, so don't quote me on that! It's an interesting thing to ponder, though!
Thank you very much! ❤️
She was lovely. Perhaps we may meet again - in the next parade, or sooner. 💙
Not only is this well Voice Acted, but it also got me to learn about this mythological parade!
It's interesting, isn't it? Thank you!
She stole the show that night, the parade was just the cherry on top
😊 Thank you! ❤️
Mysterious beautiful demon is always protecting us from ghosts that hunts us from nightmares. Love it as always my queen, hope you have a wonderful day my friend, remember that you’re loved, cared and appreciated. 😊💜😊🫂
Thank you, my friend! It means a lot! 🩷
Man you really knock it out of the park with the soft spoken mysterious characters in these audio pieces.
Well thank you!! I'm honored!
Makes me think of "Black Parade" from my chemical romance.
Nightshade just seems to have that voice that fits a Demon perfectly, especially a Demon of royalty. Hence the "Queen" in her name 🤏😎
Why thank you! I'm very honored!
Why did I smile with each word you spoke. And smile even wider when you caught me blushing. The author & you are wonderful artists. Thank you for sharing! 🥰🤩
Wow, thank you!
When I heard someone say there was a demon parade I came to check it out cuz I just thought they meant another pride parade😂 looks like I got luckier that I thought I would.😊
Really though we need more of this one please😊
Thank you very much! ❤️
This is where the fun begins 😅
Always!
Nothing else to say other than such an amazing Performance Nighshade! I'm still on awe with how amazing this turned out! Truly gave so much life into the character! Take Care and stay safe!
Thank you so much! ❤️
I think she is the Demon Queen 👑
I hope she comes back n stay longer I felt so calm with her😌😌😊
Aw, thank you!
I think her voice and story telling is amazing her characters show much depth and character Huzzah!
Thank you so much!!
It was really quite a moment when she asked for a guess and then practically responded to the guess I came up with. Broke that 4th wall just the right amount.
Thank you for this wonderful experience!
Hahaha, that's perfect! I'm glad you enjoyed it! 💕
Agreed, my guess was Hela, after how she described one eye as alive, and the other dead.
Out of all the supernatural creatures of yours I've listened to, this one has a fun intensity. I loved how the simple things seemed to give her pleasure, like the hand holding and feeding the listener. It's the simple things that made me happiest in relationships. I do enjoy the fearless nature of the listener, like an explorer delving into this world beyond the natural. I could feel how her power and her place at the head of the parade kept her isolated and apart. It's a hard thing, being the facilitator of other's good times, and she clearly needed someone to let her enjoy herself.
That's a great perspective on it! I love that you're thinking about what it is she needs. Thank you!
@@nightshadequeenasmr You are most welcome! It's easy as a listener to get caught up in what we feel, but the real spark that brings these audio plays to life to me is when I can get a feel for the interplay between the speaker and listener.
This was literally the most beautiful ASMR Audio that i have ever heard. It was so charming in its own way, the steps, the voice, the story. Everything was so amazing it almost felt real for me. Truly a master piece.
Wow, thank you! I'm so happy!
You have such a wonderfully wicked chuckle that brings me a smile every time I hear it. Keep up the great work Queen, Cheers!
Thank you so much, friend!
This was such a joy to listen to! I hope there's some sort of sequel, but we shall see! Amazing work, Nightshade!
Thank you so much!
that script was great, and so wonderfully performed!! apologies if this is a weird thing to say, but i recently found your channel and have been watching various other videos of yours and you have an absolutely beautiful voice!! thank you and I hope you have a wonderful day/night ^u^
Not at all, that's a lovely compliment! Thank you!! I'm glad you're here!
Your voice is amazing, all of your videos have continuously been instant favorites!
Aww, thank you! I'm so glad!
She must have some succubus power because she stole my heart right away 😍💜
Wonderful performance Nightshade, You always deliver best quality, much love my friend ☺️💜
Thank you so much, friend!
I… the amount of videos of yours that I watched months ago without realizing they were from the same person is insane…
That was one the best ASMR roleplays I think I've ever heard. Your voice acting was perfect in this.. Liked the sound design too

This sounds like a wonderful night. I would want to stay with her forever. Great audio
Thank you friend!
Wonderful piece. I would honestly love to see this evolve into a lengthy story.
Thank you very much! ❤️
Human parade? I sleep.
Demon parade? I'm in.
I think my name speaks for me.
I'm not afraid of demons, I love them.
It gives me a strong vibe of a more Eastern fantasy story. Well, obviously because of the names of creatures like oni and yokai. But even more so because it's a parade. As someone who has watched tons of anime in the past, pictures of similar situations flash before my mind's eye. And thinking about it now, I can say that in many ways I am much closer to the Eastern approach to supernatural beings and monsters than the Western one. In Western culture, monsters are more often loners, wild, chaotic, evil. Something like wild semi-intelligent beasts that exist only for a valiant hunter to come and defeat them. Or they are just villains to be villains and again exist so that a hero in shining armor will come and defeat them. But in Eastern culture, we can often observe something else. Yes, they are still evil and chaotic. But they have much more subtle details, intelligence, life. These are not just monsters living in dangerous places and waiting to be defeated, these are creatures with their own customs, festivals, hierarchy. They do not exist to serve people by giving them a goal to fight, they live their own lives, have feelings and thoughts.
It actually shows that there is a simple idea in Western culture. If you do not strive to be kind and righteous, then you simply cannot be a person, you do not have the right to have a mind. Because as soon as you endow all these creatures with reason, you will begin to empathize with them, and then all this primitive morality based on the struggle between God and the devil will crumble like a house of cards from one sneeze. Evil is something to be fought against and not even a shadow of doubt should enter people's minds. The minds of the people should be simple and obedient to what those in power say. Fight demons. Fight evil. Be good. Be righteous. What is evil? This is what we will point out to you. What is good? This is what we will tell you.
On the other hand, Eastern culture has something different. Darkness is not weaker or less intelligent than light. They exist in balance and harmony. In the blackest abyss you can find a glimmer of light. And even in the bright Sun there are dark spots. So instead of constantly fighting evil, it's more of a search for balance and peace. Search first of all in yourself.
For example, if you compare the western and eastern versions of dragons, you can see that in the west they are either unreasonable creatures or greedy and narcissistic creatures. But in the east, it is more often something closer to the divine, a supernatural being with wisdom. Or if you compare werewolves and kitsune. Some wild with animal traits, unable to control their transformation. Other rather powerful spirits with magical powers.
Of course, this is not always the case, but this trend is nevertheless felt. Some monsters exist only to test your combat skills, while others exist to test and evaluate your soul and heart.
If the only thing you do is mindlessly fight all the monsters, then you yourself are even more of a monster. But if you are able to find a common language with a monster, if you are able to make friends with a monster, love a monster and accept the monster's love for you, then in my eyes you are much more human and reasonable than some "ordinary" humans. The truly strong is not the one who brandishes a weapon, but the one who is able to love another despite the differences. Fear breeds hatred. Hatred breeds violence. And violence breeds more fear. This is a vicious circle. This listener was able to break this vicious circle.
I like this story and your performance.
Thank you.
That's a very interesting observation! I think that maybe a lot of Western legends that are morally ambiguous have either been lost to public attention or rewritten in more recent centuries. Robin Hood, for example, did not originally rob from the rich and give to the poor. He was just an outlaw who had adventures. When I read about various types of fairies in the West, they often remind me of yokai. But most of those stories aren't well-known. The fairy tales that do get passed on usually have morals. I think it would be really interesting if we could bring back some of those mostly forgotten stories as they used to be.
I like your message about overcoming differences. As so often happens when we talk, I've got ideas spinning through my head about what I'd like to create on my channel. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
@@nightshadequeenasmr
You are absolutely right and I feel stupid. Indeed, if you look at the old stories, everything is completely different. There are many myths and legends in different countries of Europe. Much has been censored or changed.
Well, if my text could inspire you to something, then it was not written in vain.
No, there's nothing to feel stupid about! It's exactly like you said, it's not always the case, but you can see the trend. And it says something that we've rewritten so many legends. That didn't happen for no reason. I appreciate that you make me think about these things. 😁
This was amazing! Can we expect her to return?
I don't really know yet, but I do know that LearnTWF has been known to read these comments and get inspired to write sequels, so you should definitely make the request if you want more! Actually, I should go add a note about that in the description 😁
@@nightshadequeenasmr Here's hoping for inspiration! This was really well done!
Thank you! ❤️
Difficult for the listener to be afraid of a demon when he himself is a nephalem 😏But we can address that... another time.
You have such a relaxing voice. I love listening to your performances. Gratitude m'lady.
That does even the playing field! Thank you!
This was realy romantic. Since this parade happens every year, maybe they can meet again in a sequel. Cool audio My Queen! LOVED IT!!!😊💚👍
Thank you, friend!
@@nightshadequeenasmr You're Welcome.😊
If you wanted to be realistic about it, you could release the sequel on the exact IRL anniversary of the first audio.😆👍
The fact that the artwork matches up perfectly with the story tells me a lot of work went into this.
This artist seems to embrace long-form storytelling. Puts to shame the 8 to 10 minute “gas money” upload and cutesy - cute random anime girl channels as well.
Good on you Lady
Thank you! You are right, a lot of work went into this. I probably spend way too much time on the artwork on all my videos, ngl, and having a clear description from the script actually helped a lot. I also checked with the writer to make sure that she actually fit, since I don't even know myself who or what she really is. I have an advantage here because I have experience as an artist and designer, so even with AI generation, I can craft more specifically what I'm looking for from whatever the AI spits out. It's not an easy thing to do!
I spend a lot of time on my audios, too, probably more than I should, doing multiple takes and editing together the best ones, trying out different sound effects... I cannot blame anybody who is only interested in being a VA and doesn't enjoy the other aspects of it if they choose not to focus on those parts. After all, most of us are hobbyists, doing this for fun. But I really do appreciate when someone notices the extra work I put in. Thank you!
As always another excellent Performance thank you

Me after hearing all that: His hair -WACK

I'm so glad that I can help ❤️
@@nightshadequeenasmryeah working a few jobs a day has quite the impact but once again I truly appreciate it
Ugh, I'm sorry, that's the worst. I'm glad at least I can do some little part to help your day.
Wandering around New Orleans during Mardi Gras can be memorable…but to find a different parade on a quiet street away from the city is more of a wonder. The parade goers wore costumes…….? Maybe not? The more you look, the more it appears these costumes…..aren’t. A tense moment to be sure. Then……She appeared. Power radiated off of her like rain splashing from a golden statue. Fearsome creatures capered in the street, but each stepped quickly aside as she walked. Her poise was immaculate, her features the ethereal beauty of a heroine of high fantasy. Her gaze was riveting, even though one of her eyes appeared blind. Perhaps in the fashion of Odin she sacrificed part of her vision for the true sight of fate? She seemed curious at the sight of a mere mortal, but only paused a moment before taking said mortal in tow. Her touch was firm and cool, and a hint of jasmine emanated from her cream smooth skin as she walked. When she spoke, it was music…but beneath her words ran an undercurrent of warning that this was a dangerous situation for a mortal to be in. What a person has to do to meet an interesting woman in New Orleans….
You really do write lovely descriptions! It makes me so happy to read them.
Thank you. I guess it’s just the call of the muse that sets me off. But to be honest, I have to hear you voice the character first to paint the picture XD.
Aww, that makes me feel really good. To think that I could inspire such vivid imagery. 🩷
I loved it and I do hope this story will continue
Thank you!
Your welcome
I am very intrigued by this mysterious demon.
I'd love to learn more about her.
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Human? Uh, no. I just have bad skin?
All right, who called up the Wild Hunt? Which one of you buffoons let 'em loose?
I respect this listener so hard right now, man just sees demons having a party and thinks "You know what would be a great idea? Joining in!" Gives me 'make friends with your sleep paralysis demon' vibes. This is the best way to live life, unquestionably.
Not sure I'm a fan of how much she likes to tease, but if she literally saves my soul, she can get away with it, and the listener seems perfectly capable of matching her.
My guess as to what she is: Probably a spirit of the moon. She described herself using moon terminology, has characteristics of all the other kinds of spirits, and has more power than anything else here but less than a goddess. Sounds like a decent fit to me.
Unless she's just the actual devil. That is also a possibility.
All in all, pretty cool script. Makes you wonder how often stuff like this actually happens, just where and when humans don't see it. We'll say that's why I stay up so late, it's for demonspotting purposes specifically.
This was fun to listen to.
Ooh, I like your theories! I don't actually know myself. I didn't ask LearnTWF, though I did ask for their approval on my character art to make sure it didn't go against any lore. Thank you for the lovely comment!
Great video as always I will say when I looked at the art for a second I was reminded of Kubo and the two strings not going to lie even though it's completely looks different just for a second it reminded me of that hopefully that's not a pensive I just did but great video though as always
Oh, interesting! I've never seen that one, even though I always wanted to.
That was lovely
Thank you!
Here for you
And ready to watch it 💜
Thank you!
I hope you like it!

😂 It was noble attempt 😂😂
Yeah 🫂🫂🫂💗
Oh I'm sorry i was looking for my friend. Her name is Erma have you seen her?
I wish for Silksong release date
One alive, one dead, are you perhaps Hela?
I don't know! I'm not the script writer, and I didn't want to ask LearnTWF for spoilers, so I honestly don't know what this character is. But I'm thinking probably not Hela, since she says she's not a goddess? I still don't really know, though!
@@nightshadequeenasmr Fair enough on the not the script writer part, and yeah, she mentioned the whole not a goddess bit as I sent that, made me think for a sec she was actually responding to me.
Hahaha, funny timing! Sometimes I do know a little more than my listeners, if I've read ahead in the scripts or if I've asked the writer questions, but in this case, I'm in the same boat as you - I don't really know! 😄
Thinking on her riddle, what is she. Could she be, Balance?
Ooh, that's a good one! I don't know the answer, either! Maybe one day LearnTWF will write another script that answers the question!
Was this inspired by the promised orchid?
On my end, no, I can't say it was. I wasn't familiar with that one until you mentioned it and I looked it up. LearnTWF might have been inspired by it? There are often references hidden in the scripts I perform that I don't even recognize until after it's posted and someone comments about it. 😁
I only about this parade thanks to touhou project 😅😅
🥰🥰🥰
❤️❤️❤️
Ma'am I want you to be brutally honest with me In my opinion my voice acting sucks is there any way I can improve?
I can try to help! Keep in mind, I'm not any kind of teacher, and I don't have any formal training with voice acting in particular. I do have training in stage acting, and I draw on that in my work, but other VAs probably do things very differently from me, and what I do might only be what works for me. What works for you might be something totally different, and that's totally cool. You gotta do you, right? But that said, I can tell you how I approach things.
First of all, I force out the voice in my head that says "this is cringey, this is embarrassing, you sound stupid, what are you even doing". That voice is wrong. It has *no idea* what sounds good. If that voice thinks it's cringey, then it's probably great. What it thinks is over-the-top is probably actually tame. That voice is banished to the antarctic and never invited back.
Second of all, I try to stop thinking as Nightshade and start thinking as the leader of the parade of 100 demons. Or as Raksha, the demon of war. Or as the Wild Flame, beloved of the Bright Blade and leader of their enemy kingdom. Or whoever else I'm playing. Nightshade is relegated to the back of my brain, and the character takes over. I try to feel what they feel, think what they think, and use that emotion to speak as them.
If I say a line and it doesn't sound right to my ear, doesn't properly express what the character should be feeling, well, I say it again. That's the good thing here compared to stage acting, I can try it multiple ways and choose the one I like best in editing.
Sometimes people ask me for advice on doing voices. I don't have any. I think about the character's thoughts and feelings, and I try to express them. Oftentimes, when I'm done, I can tell that I've created a certain vocal pattern particular to this character that I can recreate, but I don't set out to "do voices". So I don't know how to give advice on that.
It's probably a good idea to do multiple takes, or at least read through all the lines aloud once or twice before the final recording. There's usually less tripping over my lines when I'm more familiar with them. Of course, too many run-throughs can have the opposite effect, where the words stop feeling like they have meaning and I just get tired. I'd say two or three takes, max.
That's everything that comes to mind of the top of my head. I hope it helps? Good luck to you, friend!
Thank you for this insight. No surprise they always feel so genuine, your characters, that is.
Hum... Nightshade, are you a Nurarihyon no mago fan? 🤨
Sorry to disappoint, but I was entirely unfamiliar with it until you asked this question and I looked it up. But there are not infrequently references to media in the scripts I perform that go right over my head. 😄
@@nightshadequeenasmr Sorry, I didn't mean to pressure you. Just hearing it made me think of that reference and memory (I know you're busy but I recommend that you watch both seasons if you have the time). Take care...
No worries, I didn't feel pressured! It's a great way to get new recommendations, which I always appreciate! Thank you! ❤️
