Case Study - Quickie Nirtum w/ Smartdrive

  • Thought I would mix up some of my video content.
    If you find case studies more helpful, let me know and I'll try to do more. I always forget to video a before and after but I'll do my best if it's what the people want. I'm just making this up as I go.
    Check out this beautiful Quickie #Nitrum from and the crowd favourite #Smartdrive.
    Client is 24, CP, able to walk short distances and is often pushed by a carer when in the community with her folding chair. Goal for this equipment was to improve #independence and assist carers with lifting and community access. Nailed it.

    Hi does the smart drive work only on rigid wheelchair or any wheelchair??

      Hey, great question. It works best on a rigid chair because the camber bar underneath the chair gets a receiver mounted onto it and then the Smartdrive just pops on. If you Google Smartdrive Folding Adaptor, you can see how that option works too. It works, but it is a little cumbersome. Rigid chairs are also more durable so they will work better with any power assist device. I hope that helps!
