    I'd love to see some transcriptions ..Im old school .. ( but love your teaching style well done)

      Thanks so much for the compliment. Although the notes are not evenly spaced, we could notate this basic pattern for samba on the caixa within a measure of 4/4 as a grouping of four 16th notes with accents on the first and last notes of the beat (with the accent on the downbeat being stronger). This sequence is repeated for the other 3 beats of the measure. I hope this helps.
