Was it restoration or a clean up job? He didn't actually do any repair work. He removed and replaced rivets then cleaned and sharpened the knife.. Good job but not really a restoration.
Obviously a cheap made knife with stamped out hollow handles. But you managed to make it look great. And since you fixed the blade wobble play, a lot safer as well. Thumbs Up!

I don’t know where RexTorer finds his knifes but I’ve found a few at car boot sales. Just bought 3 having watched this channel. Pretty sure mine won’t be as good !
Another amazing job on this trench pocket knife. Your talent blows my mind😱 Thanks for sharing your video with us. I really enjoyed it. My son in the Air Force would really love to have this knife.😀
Absolutely phenomenal job, tremendous attention to detail. Paying honor to a great piece of history and the patriot that helped preserve our freedom. God bless you sir and God Bless America.
You brought it back to a useful life and it looks great except the blade tip appears to have been broken off and reformed some time in the past because the blade is too short now. I'm a little surprised you didn't notice that.
Ooh, too bad you left the edge convexed so that it won't cut well on a flat surface 😢 also a pity that you didn't sharpen it Other than that, excellent job!
Really? How about in an electrolysis mix? Just bought a power supply and all for electrolysis and electroplating. Still learning and watching all the vids more closely now.
You might wanna check the pH levels of vinegars. I think cider vinegar is 4 and cleaning white is 2-3. I much prefer oxalic . Especially in powder form.
The knife probably looks better now than when it was brand new. Nice job, brother!
Incredible! As a knife collector/enthusiast, I really appreciate this!
Finally a legit thumbnail. Thumbs up for ReXtorer!
I was so happy to see you rub the blue back off the rest of the scales I audibly cheered.

EPIC restoration! Much admiration here. I do minor knife restorations but NOTHING to this level.

Super lavoro complimenti👍👍👍💪💪💪🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
Good Job 👍
Parabéns...lindo serviço..👏👏👏👏👏👏

Another great restoration 👏👍🗡️ Greetings from Belgium 😉🇧🇪🖐️
These restoration guys need that Lazer gun that destroys rust instantly it would save so much time on sanding
Absolutely phenomenal job, tremendous attention to detail. Paying honor to a great piece of history and the patriot that helped preserve our freedom. God bless you sir and God Bless America.
Lmao. What? Literally nothing to do with your country weirdo. Read a book.
Hi wot stuff did u use on it
I wonder what was written on the side of the knife before it was filed off.
What was the name on the knife ?
He won’t tell you because then you could research the knife and quickly ascertain that it is not a WWI era knife.
Which country adopted this as a trench knife ?
Why are you sanding all parts and removing this protective layer after cold bluing?
I did toning. I wanted the drawing on the handle to be voluminous.
What brand
Which country?
Restoration, or simply a clean up job?
The knife was prettier before the blueing.
You brought it back to a useful life and it looks great except the blade tip appears to have been broken off and reformed some time in the past because the blade is too short now. I'm a little surprised you didn't notice that.
Thank you! I noticed but decided to keep the original blade

Něco podobného se u nás prodávalo v šedesátých az osmdesátých letech pod názvem Dukla.
Knife is OK but the table top is far better
Don't use your soda after vinegar, is wasted!
Definately not ww1 era knife.
Ooh, too bad you left the edge convexed so that it won't cut well on a flat surface 😢 also a pity that you didn't sharpen it
Other than that, excellent job!
Apple cider vinegar works much better then plain ol’ vinegar….
Thank you! Must try apple cider vinegar
