Also it's embarrassing to see an argument on whether Fury should have been stopped or not. Standing 8 count! The ropes CLEARLY kept Fury up. Had that been stopped it would have been premature! Ref's never use standing 8 counts when they should and are quick to wave fights off. It defeats the purpose of having 10 counts, standing 8 count by not giving fighters the benefit of the doubt. His road to undisputed was tougher so he is number 1 smaller guy fighting bigger heavier guys. Olympic gold medalist, cruiserweight and heavy weight undisputed
So Bud wasn’t the smaller guy coming up from 135lbs? That was LITERALLY what everyone said about Bud, “he’s too small”. Especially against Spence. Uysk had a great amateur career. Bud didn’t. Uysk has been hurt multiple times and was getting EASILY outboxed by Fury before round 8. Bud has never been in a close fight ever and has knocked out every welterweight he’s faced even tho they said he was too small for the division. Bud is #1 and it’s a landslide
@@Chris.A.H But they are weighing in the same fight night. Canelo has also always been the smaller guy in every weight division. Usyk was literally outweighed 30-50lbs on the scales. Bud didn’t even fight anyone elite at those lower weight classes. 140 was nothing then compared to the talent it has now with Teofimo, Subriel Mathis, Pitbull, Haney and more. It wasn’t a tough line up
@@str8profit81 bro who did Uysk beat to become undisputed at cruiserweight? Nobody. He beat a bunch guys who haven’t done anything in the sport of boxing. Bud Crawford has separated himself from the rest of boxing. He’s on another level
Always fun part of the sport and hear the depth from Tim Bradley on PFP criteria. All good and honor to Usyk for an incredible performance against Fury and 40 pounds. 40 pounds! Stop 🛑 the fight! Tyson thinks it’s New Year! 😱🥶😑
Why even have a debate on these topic! Is clear as day no matter what Crawford or Inoe does will never trump what Usyk did! Just unbelievable performance against all disadvantages! The only thing he banked on was he’s heart grit and tremendous skills had a master game plan on how to beat this man Fury just amazing fight to watch!
I don't criticize the referee for counting. I criticize him for sending Usyk to the corner then coming back and starting counting from one, very slowly. From the ref stepped in to the restart, it was 19 seconds. The referee did everything he could to save him. Usyk fought the referee, the judges, the boxing establishment and still won. The man is an all time great for certain. A great heavyweight champion doesn't only have world title wins against 4 people. 3 who were past their best and one who was a one trick pony with zero wins against the best heavyweights.
He wins the rematch. He just need to tweak a couple of things like his defense that for some reason he left it in the dressing room, but mainly stop the circus act.
@@thetruesquad5059 No. I mean the circus act in the fight. Yes, I know that he likes all the jester stuff and he stated as much in the post fight press conference, but it cost him.
Inoue already knocked Bud out of the top spot as soon as he also became 2x und. Crawford had 3 fights in the time Inoue has had 7 and 1 fight in the same time Inoue had 3. Bud's in the 3rd spot.
So let me get this straight. If Fury didnt get his face smashed all over the ring in Rd 8 and 9 he woulda won? Explain me again the objective of fighting, because I must have been missing something my entire life.
100 i had it 8-4 usyk plus the knockdown! 🤦🏻♂️. That wasn’t a close fight it was competitive ill say that! 1. Furys trunks were to his neck 2. The low punches - no warning 3. Rabbit punches - no warning 4. Ref helped fury out 5. Judges tries to rob him.
I like Crawford but I agree with Bradley there is a strong argument for Usyk being number 1 pound for pound. Him beating Fury trumps Bud beating Spence. Bud was favored to beat Spence. Usyk was an underdog against Fury. Additionally Fury beating Wilder and Klitchko trumps any win Spence has on his resume. With all that said it makes sense to make Usyk #1 pound for pound after this win.
@@JeffPenaify Well then there's an even better argument about Spence going through 2 car crashes and a detached retina and he was inactive before Crawford fight.
@@redeyexxx1841 he knocked out a champion though in Yordenis Ugas, where Fury was dropped and arguably lost to a debut MMA champion. Fury also was heavy into drug and alchohol abuse and had cherry picked through his whole comeback, and looked well on the slide

You can’t make this up. Y’all don’t know nothing about boxing.
Those three are absolutely amazing, and "no. 1" probably depends on what Crawford does, if he goes up over 154, further to 160/168. If he's successful - that makes the case for him.
Dude, if you wanted excitement and truth, the ref should've let the 9th round finish its last 11 seconds instead of jumping in....and then see how Fury survived
Chris is point at the very end where he mentioned Lomachenko giving up boxing momentarily to go fight for his country really hit hard. How many American fighters would do that?
Since the ref let Usyk pound Fury along 3 sides of the ring while he was hung up on the ropes the whole time, it seems odd that the point where Usyk was ready to finish Fury when the ref stepped in front of Usyk , Fury was sitting on the rope with his hands down and his chin up in the air. Usyk was coming in with his left hand cocked and his sight squarely focused on Fury's chin. If the ref had let him throw that last punch there would be no debate as to the outcome.
Let me share my boxing 🥊 knowledge since no one here on commenting section has mentioned and DEEP WATERS. hasn’t mentioned at all TOO. Usyk is the second boxer 🥊 in history to be UNDISPUTED at Cruiserweight and Heavyweight behind. Evander Real Deal. Holyfield
loo Canelo NEVER stated he wanted the Usyk Fight It was Eddie Reynoso who mentioned. You cant find a single interview or tweet or anything where Canelo says hewanted that fight lol Casual. Canelo too small even for 168 so Cruiserweight was never really an option.
@@oscarmarroquin4374An interviewer asked Canelo whether he was willing to move up and fight Usyk. Canelo obviously didn't take it seriously, and you can see him smiling while answering, "Sure, why not". Some people predictably took it to heart, and ran with it.
DEBATE? I've not done the exact maths but roughly the difference in weight between Cruiserweight and the big heavys, Usyk has fought is like 30-50lbs that's equivalent of a feather weight moving up super-middleweight but only increasing his weight to a welterweight. Nuts! 100% pound for pound! Plus apart from Crawford none of the others have been two time Undisputed. Usyks first and second undisputed wins are better than Crawford's. Resume wise. Usyk beat AJ twice and Fury.
Usyk gets the rock solid right to be #1 p4p as he faced real competition throughout his career. He's the WBSS champion, undisputed cruiserweight champion, faced top fighters at heavyweight and beat the lineal champion and became undisputed champion. What Crawford is lacking is fight activity and Inoue lacking is real competition
Heavyweight boxing has been garbage for the past 10 years.. you can take the top 20 boxers in the Heavyweight division and put them up against James Toney and not one of them could beat him... and he's not even in the top 25 heavyweights of all time.."GUARANTEED "
Usyk is #1 p4p because he defeated everyone at his own weight CW and then guys way over his weight HW. Inoue is #2 solely because he's so much more active over Bud, though I think their accomplishments and resumes can be argued either way.
Really good episode. I liked and support Usyk more than Fury. I think Usyk was a clear winner. But I completely agree that Fury is a great fighter that fought well. I complete disagree with the comments I see claiming that this is a weak HW era. This is a great and very deep HW era. It's just not full of Americans and so some people don't recognize it.
But one thing for sure, Fury has the most classic fights now, against big good fighters big by name "dramatic fights" his highlight reals with be legendary like dem old hbo classics
Usyk, congrats, and respect to both. He turned the tide of the fight after a rough sixth round. Fury was clowning early, thought he'd never get hurt by Usyk, and then was almost ko'd. Usyk should've knocked him out in the tenth, but ok, Fury's recuperative powers are special. A worthy mention to Kabayel who ko'd Sanchez.
Usyk lost to Dubois… faked a low blow but was knocked out to the body! Plus he had two subpar performances vs Crawford that has beat EVERYONE clean and dominate!
It was a clear low blow. All you have to do is watch the replay. Dubois hasn’t even made any arguments about it, and he literally quit after Usyk was beating his head in. If you honestly think Dubois won that fight you’re delusional
The main adjustment in a rematch is Usyks right hook. When he started using it in the 8th Fury lost his right uppercut and started to keep his left hand up which stifled his offense totally
Usyk could be number 1 if you count his accomplishments since amateur. “All” the European and world championships . Olympic gold metal. Unified cruiser and heavy weigh. It is very hard to beat that, but it could be a choose and pick too.
You ex-welterweight greats should get superman badges or something because you know boxing, have the professional experience, tell the truth/share good opinions, and are (mostly) unbiased! Tim Bluntly! Paula Put'em inline....ggi, Chris Crossed from MA...eri love it!
On the p4p issue I tend to agree with Chris. Fury weighed ten percent more than Usyk both at natural weight. Bud is reaching jr. middle naturally but stepping up to middlewight its questionable if he could win. I think the rematch will show just how much of a technician Usyk is. I think.he will dominate.
COMPARING CRAWFORD AND USYK IS SO NOT FAIR. DNT GET ME WRONG I LOVE BUD. BUT USYJ=K GAVE UP HEAIGHT REACH AND 40 FKN LBS TO BECOME UNDISPUTED. ITS SO MUCH HARDER GOING FROM CRUISER TO HEAVY
Huh?? Crawford came from 130lbs to become undisputed in 2 weight divisions and is now competing at 154. He also knocked out every welterweight he ever faced. Uysk had an extensive amateur background. Bud didn’t. Uysk has been hurt and was losing on the scorecards easily to Fury before round 8. Bud has never been in a close fight ever. He’s #1 and it ain’t close.
@@Chris.A.H when did bud give up 40 lbs, 7 inch reach or 6 inch heaight, dnt be kidding, i think bud himself mention usyk being p4p in his tweet after fury loss. stop bro
@@elid377 uhhh he doesn’t have to give up 40 lbs in weight. He’s not a heavyweight. Youre not making any sense. That would never happen so it’s a silly question. Since you’re asking questions, tell me time when Crawford was getting dominated in a fight and was hurt multiple times? I’ll wait. Please Paulie , Tyson has a reputation of getting 15-20 count to get up ! Watch the wilder count and Uysk count it was slow as hell !!
This channel deserves more respect
Great point Paulie the fight need to be in the states or UK . Saudi Arabia is not the place big fights big crowds
@proboxtv You guys are awesome! Absolutely love the show/Podcast, I watch anytime there's a new video up. I can never get enough, you guys make me appreciate the sport even more everytime I watch. Salute! 💪🏼🙏🏼
Usyk was struggling mid fight maybe thinking iv got 6 rounds to go with this and he still kept up the pressure like he said at the weigh in ill not leave you alone.massive heart and belief thinks of his country such focus he absolutely put heart spirit and soul into this fight.fury pushed it all the way.great fight
Had casuals known the rules they would be outraged by the countless premature stoppages in recent years over this one incident that was called completely, correctly!!
What’s up with you fuckin weirdos using the word “casual” as though it’s a derogatory term? Only a moron would actually think that calling someone a casual fan of something is considered an insult..😂😂😂🤡🤡💀💀🤡💀😂
It wasn’t a tough line up
@@Chris.A.H no bud himself said he grew the division .
@@str8profit81 bro who did Uysk beat to become undisputed at cruiserweight? Nobody. He beat a bunch guys who haven’t done anything in the sport of boxing. Bud Crawford has separated himself from the rest of boxing. He’s on another level
Respect to Crawford and Bradley
Even they know Usyk P4P number 1
Anyone who doesn't have inoue #1 doesn't know boxing. Hes by far the most dominant in boxing. Everyone else is competing for 2nd.
@@davidpark2509
Usyk beating fighters 40lbs heavier than him USYK number 1 no debate
Always fun part of the sport and hear the depth from Tim Bradley on PFP criteria.
All good and honor to Usyk for an incredible performance against Fury and 40 pounds. 40 pounds!
Stop 🛑 the fight! Tyson thinks it’s New Year! 😱🥶😑
Usyk clearly won that fight. Also, anyone else ever wondered what Paulis heart rate gets up to when he goes off?
Why even have a debate on these topic! Is clear as day no matter what Crawford or Inoe does will never trump what Usyk did! Just unbelievable performance against all disadvantages! The only thing he banked on was he’s heart grit and tremendous skills had a master game plan on how to beat this man Fury just amazing fight to watch!
Best boxing channel
I don't criticize the referee for counting. I criticize him for sending Usyk to the corner then coming back and starting counting from one, very slowly. From the ref stepped in to the restart, it was 19 seconds. The referee did everything he could to save him.
Usyk fought the referee, the judges, the boxing establishment and still won.
The man is an all time great for certain.
A great heavyweight champion doesn't only have world title wins against 4 people. 3 who were past their best and one who was a one trick pony with zero wins against the best heavyweights.
Great commentary. Great work. GREAT FIGHT. For me 1. Inoue, 2. Usyk 3. Crawford. NOTE: Madrumov vs. Crawford is a very close fight. Decision Madrumov
I’m not a Fury fan but I think he wins the rematch!
Usyk will come out on top again🤷🏾♂
He wins the rematch. He just need to tweak a couple of things like his defense that for some reason he left it in the dressing room, but mainly stop the circus act.
@@juliohernandez3323stop the circus act? Have u seen him the last few years, most of what he speaks is rubbish
@@thetruesquad5059 No. I mean the circus act in the fight. Yes, I know that he likes all the jester stuff and he stated as much in the post fight press conference, but it cost him.
Usyk will beat him from the outside better, Usyk will not go on the inside
Oleksandr Usyk has taken the top spot in the new updated Ring Magazine pound-for-pound rankings -he is number one - knocking Bud off the top.
Inoue already knocked Bud out of the top spot as soon as he also became 2x und. Crawford had 3 fights in the time Inoue has had 7 and 1 fight in the same time Inoue had 3. Bud's in the 3rd spot.
7:50 to add to Paulie's point, they're not allowed to sell or drink alcohol in the arena which definitely would get the crowd more hyped up
Watching it on TV is much clearer than watching it live. You see all the clear angles and replay. 😂 😅
If you had Fury on your pound for pound top 10 idk what to even say. Hes probably not in the top 20 or 30 p4p, he DEPENDS on his size.
Bingo
So let me get this straight. If Fury didnt get his face smashed all over the ring in Rd 8 and 9 he woulda won? Explain me again the objective of fighting, because I must have been missing something my entire life.
100 i had it 8-4 usyk plus the knockdown! 🤦🏻♂️. That wasn’t a close fight it was competitive ill say that!
1. Furys trunks were to his neck
2. The low punches - no warning
3. Rabbit punches - no warning
4. Ref helped fury out
5. Judges tries to rob him.
THIS IS THE BEST SHOW IN BOXING!!!! GET SOME MORE CAMEOS FROM OTHER PROS WOULD BE KEWL THO... Sugar Shane, Eric Morales, Ex... Ex...
Would Be Nice...
Usyk coming up from cruiserweight beating AJ twice and Fury is phenomenal. He is truly the PFP number 1 now.
With all that said it makes sense to make Usyk #1 pound for pound after this win.
eh but you can bring up that Fury looked past it vs Ngannou, had been dropped 8 times and had alot of miles from wars/lifestyle
@@redeyexxx1841you got him, im tired of fans acting like that was even near 70% of E.J fighting bud that night.. for me if i was in that car id have been disabled praise to jesus EJ was still healthy after that
🤣🤦🏽♂️ NOBODY said nothing about the car crash when Spence came back and dominated Danny Garcia. They said oh he looks just as sharp he didn’t miss a beat. Then after the eye injury he came back and dominated Ugas and everybody said Spence didn’t miss a beat. He gets obliterated by Crawford and now it’s the car crash and the eye injury. You can’t make this up. Y’all don’t know nothing about boxing.
I agree 100% with Tim! USYK IS NOW THE #1 P4P KING! 💯
Those three are absolutely amazing, and "no. 1" probably depends on what Crawford does, if he goes up over 154, further to 160/168. If he's successful - that makes the case for him.
No1 no question fury is a hellva fighter
Cap no heavy should be put anywhere near top 2 pfp
I love when Tim said, "They have values over there." We need values everywhere!
Great episode gentlemen!
This win catapults Usyk p4p and all time great status!!
Bud is my favorite boxer of all time but after that performance and Usyk being undisputed at cruiser weight he def has the p4p crown
Holyfield
Are they high sayings if not knockdown Fury wins the fight?or did i miss anything watching it few times..
Remember when clenolo wanted to fight Usyk at Cruiserweight! What a slaughter that would be.🤣
loo Canelo NEVER stated he wanted the Usyk Fight It was Eddie Reynoso who mentioned. You cant find a single interview or tweet or anything where Canelo says hewanted that fight lol Casual. Canelo too small even for 168 so Cruiserweight was never really an option.
😂😂😂
Canelo gets beaten and kod by crawford in 2 rounds. People don't know how strong crawford is
Why is there always some canelo jabs
@@oscarmarroquin4374An interviewer asked Canelo whether he was willing to move up and fight Usyk.
Canelo obviously didn't take it seriously, and you can see him smiling while answering, "Sure, why not".
Some people predictably took it to heart, and ran with it.
Has joined the pound 4 pound debate!? Mfrs, he's been P4P since 2018!
1/ Usyk
2/ Inoue
3/ Bud
4/ Canelo
They are flying above the others.
What is Tim Bradley jr still doing there.
why don’t they have either Chris or Shawn host
You got a good host.
Heavyweight boxing has been garbage for the past 10 years.. you can take the top 20 boxers in the Heavyweight division and put them up against James Toney and not one of them could beat him... and he's not even in the top 25 heavyweights of all time.."GUARANTEED "
My Pound 4 Pound List:
1. Usyk
2. Inoue
3. Canelo
4. Crawford (too inactive)
5. Bivol
6. Beterbiev
7. Davis (need to fight more top guys)
8. Bam Rodriguez
9. Lomachenko
10. Shakur Stevenson (too inactive)
Great show.
Usyk is #1 p4p because he defeated everyone at his own weight CW and then guys way over his weight HW. Inoue is #2 solely because he's so much more active over Bud, though I think their accomplishments and resumes can be argued either way.
When you see the size difference of both fighters on Saturday night, im definitely putting Usyk at number one.
Only the wilder fights
Usyk, congrats, and respect to both. He turned the tide of the fight after a rough sixth round.
Fury was clowning early, thought he'd never get hurt by Usyk, and then was almost ko'd.
Usyk should've knocked him out in the tenth, but ok, Fury's recuperative powers are special.
A worthy mention to Kabayel who ko'd Sanchez.
Go on Paulie son, he's on form here!
When are you guys going to cover the Bivol v Beterbiev replacement fight?
Who picked the opponent?
Usyk will be even better in the rematch. He's felt Fury's power and still managed to show superior movement all night.
More like he found out fury has a chin made of ashes
Usyk is the Best in the World and number 1 P4P
Usyk could be number 1 if you count his accomplishments since amateur.
“All” the European and world championships .
Olympic gold metal.
Unified cruiser and heavy weigh.
It is very hard to beat that, but it could be a choose and pick too.
The best thing about Paulie Malignaggi is that he looks and talks exactly like a guy named Paulie Malignaggi.
"A debate" ... Right...
What’s Tim doing here?
I thought he supposed to be gone,
Hey Tim can you tell us who’s going to win on the rematch 😅😅😅
Cause u always right 😅😅😅
I'm surprised Tim didn't just talk about Navarrete.
Fact: Fights get stopped early way too often. Call the knockdown, or let the man beat the other man until he falls on the mat.
You ex-welterweight greats should get superman badges or something because you know boxing, have the professional experience, tell the truth/share good opinions, and are (mostly) unbiased! Tim Bluntly! Paula Put'em inline....ggi, Chris Crossed from MA...eri love it!
100% agree with algeri without him dropping & hurting fury usyk woulda loss
Ref was right in NOT stopping the fight. Proof: Fury was able to finish the fight. It was the right call.
Usyk is the best of this era. And this is coming from a fury fan that though fury would win but i am now convinced of usyks skill
Crazy now that they’re knocking Tyson for losing And his résumé….
Usyk is no question the number #1 fighter in the world and now it’s not even close
I know it's the right call, but Should the ref have let Uysk finish?
I was getting kind of worried Paulie may not shit on Ducknelo this time buy here we go 15:20 . Thanks champ 😅
Tarver wearing sunglasses watching the fight. He just want some headline. 😂
Usyk was the aggressor in the fight. He was the one pressing and even with Fury movement and counter, Usyk didn't get hit and most are blocked.
But when he got up he wasnt ready to fight the bell cant save you he wobled back to his cornerso even the standing 8 count he shoudve been waved off
COMPARING CRAWFORD AND USYK IS SO NOT FAIR.
When Deontay Wilder gave up 44lbs in his first fight against Fury and dropped him 3 times was anybody saying he was P4P? Since you’re asking questions, tell me time when Crawford was getting dominated in a fight and was hurt multiple times? I’ll wait. And go read the tweet again, he didn’t say Uysk was P4P he said Uysk was a “candidate” for P4P meaning he wouldn’t be mad if someone placed Uysk above him.
Fury did not beat the court against wilder.
?
Usyks resume is really stacking well,
Usyk is number 1. He showed great ability to overcome a deficit and really take the fight over. The fight should have been stopped in the ninth Paulie. Fury was out. If that were Usyk who were hurt like that they would have stopped it
I wouldn't been surprised if it was draw or either guy won by a point super close but id say usyk deserved it. I felt like he was hurt and refused to lose
Watch the fight again and with the sound turned off.
Remember all the AJ haters ridiculing him for getting beat by Usyk, now acknowledging that Usky is the greatest of this generation. Where are the haters now?
