- With 49ers leading receiver Brandon Aiyuk formally requesting a trade on Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns should call and inquire about him, and they’ll likely do so if they haven’t already.
Just because some teams, including the Patriots, have already been told by the 49ers that they’re not willing to trade Aiyuk, the Browns shouldn’t be deterred.
They have something unique to offer in a possible trade scenario in the form of No. 1 receiver Amari Cooper, who held out of mandatory minicamp for an extension.
After an offseason of contract negotiations that have yet to yield a lucrative extension, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has officially requested a trade, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday that other teams that have reached out to the 49ers have been told the team has no intention of trading him.
Aiyuk 's request comes a week before veterans are slated to report to Niners training camp and about three weeks after Aiyuk and the Niners met in Santa Clara to discuss the situation. NFL Network first reported the trade request | www.espn.com/n...

I wouldn't trade Cooper. He is built different. His elusiveness is elusive. It's weird. He don't look like he is running fast but he always pulls away.

I care for and respect Amari Cooper too but if you have a chance to get a talent as good as Aiyuk and younger that's best for the Browns in the longer run.

@@draimonshepherd1791 When Coop retires there will be no good number 2, and if Jeudy can’t step up to the plate, then we need to draft so Coop can help develop whoever. I believe this is going to be a scary receiving core in 2 or so years.

I got a feeling after they come back from vacation and have a really good talk, they're going to extend him with a deal so great he's not going to turn it down. So I'm not worried about him getting paid because it makes no sense getting rid of him Go Browns!!!
I’m all in for Operation Stockpile Go ahead and Trade a first round pick for Aiyuk and for the last couple years we didn’t have any first round picks either but Berry still managed to get first round level players in Emerson and Dawand.Also its going to be a late first round pick anyways

If we trade for him. It wouldn't surprise me. It would be a browns move in the past. But im hoping they have evolved and know that that would be a bad move.
