@@abcmsaj so I heard that when flashing MUOS with Balena Etcher people ended up having issues with the firmware. I only have anecdotal evidence though, could be totally fine
Nice. I tried MuOS for about a week and switched to Knulli OS. I’ve been using that and I like it a bit more. Does what I need. And runs Dreamcast better.
I've stayed with stock firmware and just updated again this morning, the only decent feature muOS and Knulli have is port master , stick FW still has the better game performance despite being a little clunky .
hey! so im getting this console for christmas, and i was wondering if there's any way to do this with an android phone? my pcs old and runs slow, and my android phone is the only thing with semi decent download speeds. thanks
I'm not entirely sure since I don't own an android phone, but as long as you can flash sd cards on it you should be able to. Getting ROMs on it won't be a problem.
This is very helpful, please Which Android handheld do you recommend I get to play Mobile legends, COD and Genshin Impact That handles cooling with less overheating?🙏🏾
Good question, technically they can all run on the Retroid pocket 4 pro, haven't tested it myself but I've seen footage, although Genshin Impact you'll need to custom map all the controls to the gamepad. If you want smoother gameplay you'd want to go with something like an Odin 2 if you're willing to spend the extra cash.
don't worry about censoring that IP address lol. That's just local to your network and nobody on the internet can do anything with it. It's like describing the way from your front door to your kitchen
High quality video! Currently waiting for my RG35XXSP to arrive, pretty hyped. Already bought some good SD cards to flash.
Make sure to have a charger that's as close to 1.5A as possible (and above it).
make sure the sd cards you pick up are "A2", as the a1's more commonly than not have issues after 5-7months of use
@@TrulyGodsGoofiest I bought a 1A one just to stay on the safe side. It'll be slow, but at least it won't warm up.
@@KJ-xt3yu I bought one Samsung Evo Plus and one Samsung Pro Plus, they are both A2 so I should be good!
@@KJ-xt3yu Yeah, bought 2 A2 Samsung cards!
100% works with Balena Etcher, flashed 2 cards last night

This was really helpful thanks, particularly the bit on configuring sleep mode. Really happy with MuOS so far!
@@rlearn10 glad it helped!
Great coverage, heard anyone else talk about the network wait feature.
Waiting for it to come to the RG40XX.

@@Logand-225 I’ll have to give it a shot!
is there any issues/bugs? i hate having to add box art on muOS
Hasn't been updated in almost 3 months...
Is the sleep function working though. I've heard that it only works on stock.
Working for me on MuOS.

What games have better performance in stock os? Kinda curious. I always though different os may have different looks but actually using same backbones
@ , N64 , Saturn , PSP
I also played the advance SP the most among the old handhelds. I also immediately played Advance Wars on it!
Raspberry "Pea-Eye" 😂
It's a Raspberry that takes photos of cheating spouses for a living.
@@eyeball226 haha this is hilarious
that issue around the 12 min mark sounds like the mag sensor was tripping. could be your ring or watch. ive seen that alot with laptops.
thanks for the guide
Waiting for cubexx version.
Edit: xongobongo updated on the important channel for muos discord, as of Nov 4, cubexx support is being worked on. 😁
muOS boots up so much faster sheesh!
can play music through a music player even when lid is closed ?
Can I use the original sd card?
do the difference between "A1" and "A2" on micro sd and sd cards.... i suggest going with A2 as the better choice every time
What's the name of the game in 10:52?
Looks like Yu-Gi-Oh
Yes, Yu-gi-oh The Sacred Cards, played this a lot as a kid.
@ thank you so much! 😊🙏

Is the sp more comfortable then the miyoo mini plus?
Personally I think the Miyoo Mini Plus is more comfortable, I'm more a fan of that design.

bro its 990 or 9090 example 157.990 or 157..9090
It's x.x.x.x:9090
ya that IP address:9090 does not work for me, just sits there. Am using my MAC connected to a guest connect at work.
Where's the github page link for the themes? :)
Whoopsie, updating the description with the link now!
Knulli is the best option, but MuOS’s support for postmaster is what makes me be on MuOS’s side
