Huge Hugh fan here! He's a very intelligent and articulate man (he's an Oxford grad) with typical dry, British humour. Positively loved him in Notting Hill, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually, About a Boy, Music and Lyrics, Paddington 2 but he was equally amazing in Maurice, Impromptu and Sense and Sensibility. He's a very good actor who unfortunately had been type-cast for a long time but as he ages, I hope more interestng roles with a wider range come his way - I know he'll be able to nail anything thrown at him.
Here you go. :)

I actually liked his exchanges with Whoopi, you could tell there was a mutual respect of colleagues coming from similar movie eras.
I can't decide what I love more: watching Hugh playing his characters or watching him playing himself? He's witty and absolutely adorable, such a character! The one and only Hugh!! 💖
He is funny. He is witty. He is smart. His humor is dry. His manner is unaffected with a hint of cynicism. Ashley Graham was no match for him.
Indeed! You're so right ✅️
I agree 100%. I was surprised that he even stopped to be interviewed. He's not being mean (IMO), just ill at ease with Hollywood BS.
He gave witty answers to shallow (sometime out of context) general questions. What is your favorite thing coming here? She knows He is not even nominated! For me this sound like why do you come at all? Is it really important who made his suite? Or she wanted to get some AD credit by forcing out a name? Why does She ask about a movie He had only a brief cameo in? Sounds like this was Grant’s performance highlight for the year? A cameo?
She wasn't trying to "match" him, she was just doing her job. I'm no fan of the Oscars but if you're going to go, expect those questions. Grant was rude.
@@kermitfrog593 I did not say she was trying to match him. I said she is no match for him intellectually. The woman is quite vacuous. They need better interviewers, more polished, more worldly, more resourceful.
I loved this interview. Hugh Grant is quite disarming and hilarious!
Ashley Graham didn't understand the assignment😵💫. Love Hugh. He's an intelligent, talented, eccentric English gentleman 🤗✌🏾
As all the intelligent and witty men he is also self-deprecating. Such a great actor!
His charm is undeniable. Simultaneously humble, hilarious and hot. Very rare.
I love Hugh Grant's dry British humour ... 😊
love hugh grant! so funny and charming man!
Our beloved self - deprecating Hugh Grant ❤
If Nottingham hill comes on I’m watching it ! All of them !
Can you imagine Hugh Grant and Hugh Laurie having a conversation?
He was fantastic in The Undoing! My favorite series ever!
Oh he’s hilarious! Flirty as ever. I haven’t seen the Oscars interview. He does like to shock and titillate 😂
The before show interview was bad.
Ashley was asking him the 'who are you wearing?/Is there anyone you're excited to see tonight?' questions.
Hugh Grant❤....4 Weddings & A Funeral is such classic.
This was such a fun interview! He actually enjoyed it
Unlike when someone tried to interview him on the red carpet at the Oscars. He was quite rude.
Now this is how you interview Hugh Grant!
Exactly 👌👌👌👌
The other interviewer also did well
@@kbanghart the Oscar one? Nah that one was hilarious but not a good interview.
Exactly 👍👍🤗
@@ginniesoh exactly, hilarious that people expected him to be nice I guess
I’m impressed, wonderful interview… brilliant conversationalist…
I love Hugh. When he was younger he was funny, _now_ he's funny and utterly charming too.
Love Hugh Grant 💖
His "viral Oscars moment" wasn't the scrotum joke, it was the Ashley Graham awkward interaction -- I wish he had addressed it.
There was nothing to address, he was just being him, the interviewer was just beyond her depth
@@thebenevolentpatriarch424 I agree with you! My comment is more about The View's definition of viral moment than what Hugh did or did not. 🙂
Yup, they need to change the video title
My favorite Hugh Grant film is "9 Months" with Julianne Moore, Robin Williams, Tom Arnold and Joan Cusak. The drive to the hospital and the scene in the delivery room has me laughing out loud no matter how many times I watch it.
Hugh Grant has a sarcastic and self-deprecating sense of humour. I don’t get what the fuss was about on Oscar’s night. He wasn’t rude at all. Plus the questions by Ashley were blah….let’s be honest
OMG thank you for saying it. I felt the same way! She shouldn't be doing interviews. It didn't sound or even feel natural the way she asked and the fillers umms in between. I cringed at her, not him! It turned on him like he was expected to carry an interview that should have been her job in the first place!
Okay, but do you think she deserved his attitude? She didn't sit there in her car that day trying to think of in-depth questions, these were written for her. And he knows the deal, this wasn't supposed to a sit-down with Mike Wallace, it was the Oscars, the fluffiest of all the events.
If it's a stupid interview, one of many I'm sure, his reaction was probably appropriate.
@J I thought he answered fine (his honesty) but she didn't deserve the eye roll publicly
thank you! gotta up your game depending on the character 🤗
Hugh a legend 🤎✨👏🏾👏🏾
0:20 "I want to kiss three of you." He got me with that right at the beginning.
Great actor and gentleman! Opened door for me at Pret, Chelsea 😊
I had a huge crush on him after watching Maurice. Love him in that!
Hugh is playing chess while the rest of Hollywood struggles to play checkers
Well put. Same with Cillian Murphy!
I love this man since the 90s
Americans need to realise that their reporters can come across as so enthusiastic with the smallest of things. So many of us non-americas are like "umm wtf calm down" lol.
Notting Hill is my favorite Hugh Grant movie 🤍Very talented actor!
I didn't see where he addressed his "Viral Oscars Moment"...did I miss something???
No...they didn't ask him
The viral moment they are referring to was with Andie MacDowell where he said he looked like a scrotum. Personally, I still find him quite handsome.
Click bait.
@@georgimihailov4906 definite;y that!!
His moisturizing comment I guess, but that was hardly viral. Honestly though, I would rather hear about his scrotum face than the interview by the amateur Ashley whoever she is. 😎
Only British actors can pull off saying “scrotum” and still be a class act
Honestly, kinda forgot this guy was alive.
After the Oscars.....he has shot up astronomically in my books and now I wanna watch all his movies again for telling it like it is. He's actually also v funny.
He was brilliant, nuanced acting in The Undoing 👏
Hugh wasn't rude to Ashley. He was being Hugh! And Ashley should have been more creative with her questions.
It came across rude, he could have at least half answered not just give nothing. He has a history of rude encounters
He’s not rude it’s a dry sense of humor and Ashley is dumb
No he was definitely being rude lol. I would never roll my eyes and make someone feel stupid for no reason, even if the question had no substance. She could have asked him a rude question like "hey remember that time you got caught with a pr*stitute" and cheated on your then partner Elizabeth Hurley. How's that for dry sense of humor. 😂
Exactly. Hugh was being Hugh - and funny. Ashley, whoever she is, apparently does not interview people regularly, or well.
He was rude...gave half answers then rolled his eyes.
I think he looks more handsome now
Music and lyrics is my favourite too!
Hugh is like a fine wine, gets better with age
He's the classic "bad boy" that women love and men want to immolate.
He wasn’t rude! He was just being English. It’s how we are!
Don't speak for all of us please, personally I'd never be so rude & I'm English 🇬🇧🙂
As a Scot, can confirm, the English are indeed rude
😉
@@cleverusername9369 we aren’t over emotional and we can talk without getting excited about anything and everything. We aren’t emotional and I am glad for that.
It's nothing to be proud about.
Excuses
Music & Lyrics is my favorite Hugh Grant movie!
About A Boy, Florence Foster Jenkins...some of Hugh's best work.
He's hilarious and get's better and better:) Luv you HG and thanks for an interview:)
charming humorous man
Ask interesting questions, you get a lovely interview
How did they miss Hugh's brilliant dance scene in Florence Foster Jenkins?!
Yes yes yes... Glad you mentioned it. Thanks.
I love innocent, flirty Sunny
I love him!!!! He is hysterical and so funny!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣... Nine Months was one of my favorites!!!! Robin Williams was so funny, I was crying my eyes out!!!! 🤣🤣🤣....
Hugh is the best actor, ever!!!! He is so funny!!! I have alway's loved him!!!❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹....
I remember when he co-hosted the show 20/20 with Barbara walters in the 90’s. Haven’t seen him in years!
It’s called British humour, we have a dry and sarcastic humour
how could you not address the Ashley Graham interview with Hugh grant?
Why address that dumb "Yass queen" uneducated girl?
He probably didn't want to be asked about it
at which point did he address the Oscar moment? 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
Forever a flirt! 😊❤️
Hugh” we’ll i’ll kiss 3 of you “. Joy & Whoopi didn’t even blink😂😂
I found the joke very odd
So you're assuming they weren't included? 😆
I see how sunny gets all the attention in bars like Joy attests, Al that cuteness and flirty self 😊
Huge grant coming on to sunny on live tv
Exactlyy😂😂 I think people are not catching up to it cus he did it so smoothly😂🏆🏆
He is funny. I love him so much.ultimate crush
Never was keen on him.but seeing him recently.i think iv become a fan haha
O my gosh he has my dream man for 30 years......i still choose him xxxxx
He is hilarious OMG LOL 😂
Thanks for posting
LOL I love Hugh's humor
Hugh has never been one of my favorites, too cheeky. But I must admit he does have a wonderful sense of humor.
One person's too cheeky is another person's chef's kiss
I agree with you Elizabeth, I find him to be rude. I remember Oprah asking him how was it like working with Julia Robert's, he said she has a big mouth, literally. At that moment he could have talked about her talents and personality but he went for her features that she had no control over.
There are more similar moments like this that made me not like him, but my post will end up being a whole thesis.
@@rachel4274 Well, he's less fake American, that's all.
Sunny is so smitten with him. It’s so cute
Glad you noticed it too and hugh grant picked up on it and asked her to hang out "later tonight" idk why people in the comments did not catch up on that 😂😂😂
Manny won’t like that.
Totally disrespectful. I don't think she's happy in her marriage, tbh
The undoing was amazing!
His publicist most likely requested that they not ask about what happened on Sunday frankly he strikes me as a man with very little patience you can tell he gets agitated easily
If Grant, whose wit amuses and delights me, thinks Dungeons and Dragons has a funny script, then that's recommendation enough to probably watch it.
One of my crushes Hugh Grant, Peter O’Toole, Robert Redford and Clint Eastwood. I’m 42 y/o😊
Sarah's reaction to Sunny's revelations of dungeons and dragons lol. " Sunny seriously....then later oh my God " . Like a worried little sister 😂
I think his best movie so far is Nottingham Hill, but all his other movies are funny and charming as well.
Sense and Sensibility--GREAT---❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love him
Lovely guy. Complex, but adorable.
Love Hugh Grant, very beautiful man
I must have missed something, anyways Whoppi kills me 😆😆😆
No mention of Ashley graham interview? They must have said not to
Come on Ladies?! How can you not address the elephant in the room?!
I guess Grant could've been a bit more open and charismatic about a basic question like, "Who are you wearing?"but Graham also could've come up with questions that wear a little less shallow and expectable. He refused to hide his disappointment over these unoriginal and poorly researched questions, so he came back with his unique, unapologetic sense of irony. Ashley Graham didn't really know how to go along with his dry, quick-witted British humor. Anyway, it was a little cringy but not really dramatic. If anything, Ashley Graham and Hugh Grant's interaction is a perfect example of the clash between typical British and American humor. 😅
a movie star no doubt
Hugh Grant is extremely talented aktor.
👍like, love .
RESPEKT!❤
@Hugh Grant 👋 hello
HAPPY 63TH BIRTHDAY HUGH GRANT !!!!
Thanks for your continuous love and support ❤️❤️ How long have you been a fan of mine??
Hugh grant surely hittin that!
Hugh Grant 💓❤ TURKEY
It’s good to be the king of rom coms .
Sonny is a different person depending on who she’s interviewing.
So true. Reminds me of MEGAN
"i have no self to express" PLSSSSS
The gentlemen was his best role
Music and Lyrics is so underrated
All the ladies are blushing... hahahaha
Ewww... I wouldn't be 🤢🤮
Oh Hugh you can be just so charming. Why did you let us down in your interview on the red carpet??
He didnt let anyone down on red carpet.he was himself.stupid questions deserve stupid answers.DONT THEY??
He didn’t let us down ! He was being himself
The interviewer was silly and vacuous, and Hugh got annoyed. Not everyone has patience when faced with aggressive stupidity.
That's the wrong viral Oscars moment to discuss! What a "click bait" title as its finest...
U get it right I get it right we get it right❤❤
loved music and lyrics ❤ it's a great little gem of a movie. go see if it's streaming 🙌
Came here for the awkward Ashley interview moment. What moment are they talking about 😂😂😂
Now I don't know if he was rude maybe he was trying to be funny and she didn't get it
She really didn’t get his dry British sense of humour and sarcasm and her questions were dull. Even I was rolling my eyes and I wasn’t asked anything. We Brits are extremely sarcastic. 😂
@@thelaurels13 the questions were fine and he was nervous and rude.
@@kbanghart The questions were boring and stupid and he wasn’t rude. I’m British I understand his humour!
He doesn't like his intelligence to be insulted.
@@thelaurels13 lol some Brits, like yourself are socially awkward 🤣
🎶Pop Goes My Heart🎶💗
I see his face and I laugh.
He was a little rude but nothing to cry about she was asking dumb questions and he wasn't having it
He was more doing detrimental humor towards himself anything. He was a little awkward in the interview but overall he wasn’t rude or disrespectful in anyway shape or form towards Ashley.
@@jeffsanders3453I agree. people need to wind their necks in and calm down. Getting ridiculous
@Hugh Grant go away robo hugh
The cats on the View must have really liked you!! That's the nicest I have ever seen them. Great show!
Thanks for your continuous love and support ❤️❤️ How long have you been a fan of mine??
He wasn’t rude to her!! The interviewer was so lame she didn’t have anything worth while to say to him!
