A friend would record Records onto to Maxell UDXL2 or TDK Cassettes for me in 1980 ! On one of those tapes was a tune...Minstral Gigolo'' I learned that when done right Notes/Sound can be a spiritual experience...this is the sound I heard all those years ago...Thank You Eric.
I've thought for some years that the fade out lead in Eric Johnson's "When the Sun Meets the Sky" off Venus Isle was the pinnacle of the art of electric guitar. But now I think he may have even topped that with his lead in this song....quite simply, sublime and inspired!

One of EJs nicest compositions, in my opinion. The solo is not his most ear-catching playing in terms of speed, but it definitely tells a story.
