The Henin backhand. Woosh! Even Federer said it was better than his. That was the golden age of women’s tennis. It needs artists like Henin and Mauresmo to elevate the game again.
Justine henin after losing to mauresmo in the Wimbledon finals .. she was determined.. year end championships she beat mauresmo, east Bourne ( grass) took mauresmo out, an here in Dubai took her out.
The one handed backhand battle, what a match. Not sure if any current players play with the one hand backhand topspin anymore. Beautiful match. Who do you think of these two mastered their backhand better?
Hénin BH had the better efficiency by far but technically speaking,I prefer Mauresmo BH. It was beautiful 😻 especially when it was released down the line.
Both had a very strong and nice one-handed BH. But Henin's was a bit stronger, because she was able to create more pressure with it and thus finish the point better. She could pull the trigger with her BH better. But yeah, both had great BH. The difference between them and the reason why Henin was more successful is imo the FH. The Belgians FH was more compelling than the Frenchwoman's.
Eventhough it's Henin that received endless praise for her backhand, it's Amelie who had a beautiful and classic one hander. Her 2 majors over Henin were complete performances. Amelie was also an amazing volleyer.
These two plus Martina Hingis were my favourite players of that generation... so much variety... beautiful tennis 😍👍
Two of them used PED to keep up with Venus and Serena 😂
@@Official.tadiwa Like if Serena and Venus didnt take any PEDs 😄... do you remember the Panic Room incident of 2009?
BHs of these two players are great to watch. Ufff!!!
Excellent quality, thank you so very much for these highlights!
These two had a great rivalry

Wow what a tennis that was, almost like ATP tours

And Amelie beat Justine in two slam finals. Justine could be shameless when it came to winning, but Amelie was always a class act.
@@pawshands9706are u completely out of ur mind 2006 AusOpen Henin retired Where's the question of beating u should be shameless
@@khv6748 Drama queen 🙄
Hahaha. Both retired but their fans still fight. What a funny scene. 😂
