@@truthache8560 Biden is not locking up his opponents. If you are referring to Trump’s court cases, Biden was not involved. Evidence was gathered by local district attorneys, provided to grand juries for review and forwarded to the trial court. A jury of Trump’s peers, co-chosen by Trump’s attorneys, found him guilty in the NY case. Trump had the same process and protections as all of us have.

This was the Jimmy Dore approach in 2016. He and his fans argued that things would be so bad under Trump that Americans would finally be ready for progressive policies and candidates. Well, things were really bad (especially for low income people and other marginalized groups), and we're much closer to Trump totalitarianism than we are to progressive policies and candidates.
It makes me sick. These people are willing to let already marginalized people suffer even more under a Trump regime, on a ridiculous gamble that Americans will become more responsible and support policies and candidates that tend to benefit the overwhelming majority of people and the nation, run for office themselves if they're competent and decent, etc. And some of these people aren't really progressives, anyway. Some of the infotainers are just grifting, and some of the regular people are just cosplaying (they don't have much of an understanding of progressive principles and policies).
Not only that, but there will be zero tolerance for protesting under Trump. It's not great under Biden, but imagine how much *worse* the police would be under Trump's dictatorship. They would be foaming at the mouth and reveling in their power over people, even more than they already do

The Supreme Court just made a ruling that rather than different departments of the government like the EPA and the FDA,etc The Supreme Court will now be making all the rulings on whether your water is clean and your air is pure and your food is healthy and whether you can have AI or basically anything anymore. The Polls have not moved too much at all although President Biden appears to be getting a bounce from support from independent and uncommitted voters.

I refuse to believe that anybody who voted for Bernie in the primaries turned around and voted for trump. I do blame them for staying home and not voting, or voting for some other third party candidate.
Yeah, the main people I talked to my age that voted for Trump in 2016, who were not conservative, were not Bernie Stans. They were Joe Rogan/Elon Musk fans who felt Trump was more entertaining.
