    This foam dart blaster is fully mechanical and mimics shell ejection mechanism. All energy is contained inside each cartridge! The blaster can be entirely powered by simple office rubber bands, although for dart propulsion module we recommend using stronger bands such as exercise/resistance rubber bands. As far as we are aware it is only such toy blaster on the market which mimics shell ejection and doesn't require any batteries or electronics.

      Thanks Albert :) I would like to see it too, unfortunately cannot afford such equipment :) I did number of tests - compared no rifling vs this. There is defo a difference but with certain brands only. Some dart brands seems inaccurate no matter what I do. For other - I defo feel rifling is working cause difference is noticeable.

    @tau-5794 Год назад +38

    Really ingenious solution to regular nerf guns not having any blowback, so requiring motors to be automatic. The only improvements I can think of is smoothing down and miniaturizing the shells, and maybe replacing the bulky rubber bands with springs to wrap around the dart, which would be discreet but also probably more powerful. So then the smaller shells would allow more to fit in a magazine, and maybe even increase the firerate if I'm understanding the basic function correctly.

    • @Glostermeteorf3
      @Glostermeteorf3 Год назад +2

      I think the main problem with miniaturizing and using springs would be strength of the prints. You might have to start machining at least the cartridges out of something, maybe Delrin
