I love that linus invested in his production studio with his profits instead of blowing it on exotic cars and fancy clothes
Oh he has an "exotic" car all right. Hand painted pink!
He's also said a personal goal of his, was for everyone in his employ to own/be able to buy their own living space, be it house, condo, whatever. And at least for everyone under him when he set that goal, he'd now accomplished. (Luke was the last holdout)

Linus seems like one of the more smarter RUclipsrs. The ones that create a business and invest. Not the Logan Paul kind that seem to be throwing money around.

Pretty funny, before they had this studio LTT rented a house and did most of their shoots in the kitchen.
The "kitchen set" they have now is modeled after that original kitchen because fans kept asking for it.

@@patience__8051 they never shot any video in his mom house ... they actually shot a lot of video in HIS own garage (back in 2013 ish) and then they moved to a house with Taran, Luke, Brandon and Ed
They started in linus house then they Bought (Not 100% but they talked about the house resently and they keep talking like they bought the place) a house in Langly British Columbia but after a few years the local govement was like "You can't run a company out of a house" so they took a gamble and Bought the space there in now its like 3 commercial wherehouses side by side and they put in doors linking them.
Well, the kitchen set was pretty great. I don't blame em.

Really enjoyed this studio tour, especially the overview of cameras. I've seen other tours of Linus' studio but none of them went as in-depth as this one. :)

Its because he spends all the money he earns on his company, most youtubers doesn’t reinvest the money they earn.
Linus is different he isn’t on a pile of expensive stuff flexing or buying big cars
Watch the latest WAN show and you'll hear about his latest goal that he was able to achieve for himself and the staff at LMG. It is insane but that is the kind of guy that Linus is. He may be obnoxious, immature, and #dicktbutt, but he is absolutely one of the nicest people out there.
Not Microsoft, not Facebook, LMG is my dream job.
the fact that channel super fun is dead is so sad to me. i really enjoyed nerd sports. basicaly the team with luke won. and i miss luke.... its sad that the most likeable of their cast left to a off camera position... and the wan show is to long for my taste and is the only place we see him now

@@LaughingOrange not the whole cpu but one of its memory controllers is out so no quad channel memory for that cpu (i think that what he said in one of his videos regarding that cpu.)

@@muhwyndham he has it finished, it's not 50k lost dude, he's water cooled a server and also a network switch, he's had at least 2 other RED cameras so the water cooling of RED Camera was on the back burner., I have made designs (down to the millimeter) on how to make a.functioning PC for inside a "retro" metal 2 slot toaster., But did I run to the 3D printer after getting design on paper and 3D diagram in AutoCAD? No, you know why, because it was a hobbyist thing, not an essential thing, much like water cooling a camera.

Linus has been around since the beginning like MKBHD but Linus is true old school techie, Sarah was real in the video, I find her normally too fake but this was real, this is how you get a million subscribers
Sarah is fine, do not be too hard on her, this is still her if you are a careful observer, she is real, just gets a bit serious when making a point and some times it's good to let people see the serious aspect of you for business sake :)

they used to shoot on the kitchen of the house they had for a studio, so it was a legit kitchen a few years ago. people were asking so much for the old kitchen set that they built one

@@arjunsheth5941 As you see in the video, Taran moved his setup like next to the editors den. And Linus said that they will get rid of the bean bags, because they have to hire more staff and need the space.

Yes they'd all basically lose their jobs. Business decisions need to be made by the business minded people, so when the technicians and specialists are unionizing to control the business decisions (the area they're NOT competent in), they'll drive the business downward to the ground and everyone would lose their jobs including Linus.

He should thank his father or whomever gave him his name. I dont know how appealing the channel would be if its called "Andrew Tech Tips" or "Raymond Tech Tips".

Still, I think, regardless of the name the channel would still have become popular.
He has just the right amount of goofiness and knowledge to make it work.
I find all these videos showing all these sets absolutely fascinating! Also, it seems like Linus really cares about his employees while giving them quite a bit of freedom/oportunities to learn and try new things. It seems like a really nice environemnt to work at.
I love how he just wears his Jibo shirt every now and then

I saw this at the top of my youtube feed, and I figured that I would rewatch it. I stopped to see how old the video was when she mentioned that she should visit again next year. RUclips says the video is one year old. I would wonder if the algorithm picked up on that, if it wasn't for the fact that RUclips can't seem to remember what videos I've seen for a bit over a month now.
