Thanks for this one-- tongue tension starting to limit high notes was what sent me to You Tube looking for voice help in the first place-- and it's good to keep remembering to relax!

A great way to relax all those parts that seem to give us unwanted tension while singing. That you for giving us a solution to release that tongue and jaw tension.

My jaw tension is so ingrained in my singing that one of my voice teachers, after we spent weeks working on reducing jaw tension without much progress, said "Let's forget about reducing your jaw tension and just work on other things!"
Maybe this warmup will help me reduce my jaw tension a bit!

My singing teacher has said I need to prepare the vowel before singing the consonants so that I do not do any scooping. She has me doing your pre, pre, pre, pre, pre exercise. Would you please do a class on this area?

Yessss! Let it crack, we can fix that more easily than tension. You might want to check out today's new video all about tongue tension:

Lol... it is definitely gone, but I am hoping it is still alive. I gave it away to a neighbor because Olaf would NOT leave it alone. Digging and nibbling.... oh well.
