- On this weeks episode of Wisdom & Wellness Mpoomy sits down with published author, education activist and Mis South Africa 2016 Ntando Kunene. They go down memory lane on how her mother prepared her for pageant world, dealing with the loss of her Father and living with acceptance and confidence.
I'm watching both Ntando and Mpumi speak and I can't help but feel a sense of pride that young black women are so beautiful and so wise. I loved everything about this conversation.

Ntando is a 10. Literally can’t fault her on anything ❤️
Absolutely
Literally!
A perfect 10!
A full 10 indeed!
Over and above the content, I can’t ever get over the outfits Mpoomy wears. Arg shem, it’s either they are refreshing like a fresh breeze of fresh air or they are stunningly classy like this black outfit here. ❤
Thought I was the only one. 😭😭❤
Me too and the shoe in this one👌🏽
@@r-dene0134 rightttt???
I've loved Ntando since she won Miss SA, met her in person at an Miss SA audition year of her reign. She was So down to earth, honestly one of the most beautiful women on our Continent.
I’m only 19🥺 and I enjoy these podcasts so much. This was most probably the most insightful and eye opening podcast I’ve listened to so far🤌🏾🫶🏾
I'm 17🥺
"it won't always go as we imagined it to be" powerful 👌👌👌
I can relate with regards to the hardest lesson. I also had this picture in my head of how life should be. Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought I'd be a Single mom. But I reconcile. ❤🔥
Wow! I also could relate to this🤗 It's so hard to reconcile.. But we move, she have to be kind to ourselves and forgive ourselves. Sending you lots of Love and hugs 🤗❤️
I can most definitely relate, going through the most but we move, take one step at the time. Sending hugs and love of love. ❤️❤️❤️
As we Try and reconcile ... I'm at this point and ya it's hard but we move
I’ve got an idea, Mpoomy why don’t you hear our stories and invite one or more people to come through and share their stories. One of your fans to come and be interviewed by you. I think that would be nice
Ntando is sooo beautiful and very well spoken . Thanks Mpoomy 😍
Ntando’s voice is so soothing. She’s also a very wise and wholesome woman. Enjoying this conversation.
I don’t care what anyone says about Mpoomy I love her
Mpoomy you’re such a good Host. You listen to Ntando(infact all the people you interview) and give her the allowance to feel at ease and at home. You’re compassionate and you kind of put yourself in their shoes.
I like that and not many Hosts/Presenters have that wisdom/gift
First time seeing my fav (Ntando) being interviewed love it😍
Nthando has explained exactly I explained the reason for my mom’ passing 💔💔💔 relying totally on God 😇🙏
Oprah Winfrey must watch out 🔥💕
This was great, she needs to come back.
"Grief is love that has nowhere to go" wow
That hit me hard 💔🥲😍 so profound
i love this
One hour doesn't feel like an hour when listening to Mpoomys podcasts it literally feels like 5min that's how much I enjoy it.
Love love love Ntando. Thank you ladies ❤️
Never related to anyone like this, this was amazing!❤
I didn’t know how much i needed this episode until i watched it. I relate so much to everything Ntando said with regards to losing her dad. I lost my dad when i was young and he was my everything! There are some moments where i just feel like God robbed me as well because i know my dad would’ve been so proud of me. The older i grew the more i realised that i had to let God be my father because like He said in His word, He is father to the fatherless.
It doesn’t get better with time, everyone needs to know that. Some days are manageable and some days you just feel like the scar got cut open once again.
She's such a beauty. So graceful.
I just listened to the whole conversation. I enjoyed it. The whole thing. Ntando is such a wholesome babe, smart, beautiful and relatable. Her beauty and success is not intimidating, it's beautiful. I don't know how to explain it.
I love Ntando ❤ thank you so much Mpoomy❤
Notification squad is here❤️so excited for yet another meaningful conversation 😊
Love Love Love this episode.🥰🥰
Not me getting teary when she was talking about her dad❤️

I have been waiting for this interview to take place😊😊 thank you so much for hosting Ntando!!
I really wanted to watch this episode, I'll listen to it on spotify after here. I love the chemistry already.
My faves in one video 😍❤️
Oh man this was such a good podcast 🥹love seeing women empowering each other.
Mom is also human. Love it
I lost my dad to cancer in 2018 as well. My worst yet most defining moment in life. I needed this podcast, and I didn't know it. I also resonated with your podcasts featuring Hulisani and Ntokozo on their loss. The part where she found clarity in God showing up as the Father resonates deeply, thank you!
It won't always be how you always imagined it to be ... How do you reconcile !!!!
I love these words
Ntando is so authentic. She seems like such an amazing woman.
I'm inlove with Ntando. Thanks for bringing her to the show. And Mpoomy I love you.
Honestly i cried and was refreshed at the same time🙏.
Ohh wow this is amazing, was even smiling the whole time 💐🔥
What a powerful name!!
It felt so short!🥺 Such a beautiful conversation.
Ntandoyenkosi! How I love this young woman. So strong, fierce❤❤❤
I am only catching up today due to work but can I just say, this felt soo short. I felt like we needed more of Ntando❤
I love this Ntando girl
Absolutely love Ntando’s, she’s really a breath of fresh air & sooooo headstrong 😊. Love to see it
I absolutely love Ntando's personality, my word!😻❤️
This almost felt like an intro or part 1... I shall wait for part 2... Thank you Ntando for sharing your life experiences! Especially the part about surrendering to The Lord when things don't go according to the picture you had for your life... A lot of us struggle with that but girl are we happy that we have The Almighty in our corner🙌🏾
I love Ntando❤, and really enjoyed this podcast. And you two looked like long time besties nje, the conversation was flowing easily.

This resonated with me so much. 🥺 loved every bit of it. Thanks for bringing uNtando along. She’s incredible. Great job Mrs Mom. You both were born for such a time as this. ❤️
UNtando is a breath of fresh air i tell you ,soo free
I'm in tears right now this vedio really got me I also lost my dad a few years ago and he never got to meet my kids😭😭😭
Ntando's story about her dad is my story. After losing my dad, I had to learn to trust God. I had to learn to rely on him as a Father. A painful transition, but God is still faithful.❤️
Same as mine too
All the events played out the same as how things really happened in my life
Loved watching you ladies🤗
OMG Mpoomy this was such a an amazing episode, I relate so much with Ntando I almost cried when she spoke about her dad🥺
I was led by Spirit to this interview as I am also grieving the loss of my mother who died from cancer. So many parallels with my story. So healing.
Light and love sis 🥺❤️🫂
@@Siphokazi_H thank you ❤️
Same here, grieving the loss of my Dad (11 years now) & loss of my Mom (2 weeks now from cancer too)
@@ophyobby6176 I'm so sorry you have to go through this festive season in pain. It gets a little better, I promise.
This interview had me tearing up, and so i had to stop it. Especially when she spoke about her dad. In my own personal experience with my dad, i looked at him as such till he started being the most cruelest person i know. No one could compare to him. Today he is not well, I am unable to be crual to him I'm giving him the purest of hearts and going leaps for him as I should. But my heart is litrally bleeding coz of all the things he did to me and my family.
Loved this!! ✨❤️
Oh my God 😥😥❤I relate to this so much currently.
Ntando... everything you said, DITTO mntaka ma!!! I really heard you sis... God bless you both!
Loved this interview ❤
God's blessings to you ladies.... hugs, love to Ntando.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so steady yet impactful. I can relate with Ntando's story on when she lost her dad, my daughter was just 3months old and I was like she had to meet my dad on his deathbed. And It still hurt that my kids won't have a granddad when I got see mine and know him. It's exactly 4 yrs since he passed yeah sometimes God has different plans than we do. I had to accept that death is part of life. ❤️
Queen is in the house.❤️👑❤️
I'm just here to say HALLELUJAH to the King of kings and Lord of lords for Monday's Kaya FM interview on the breakfast show! I never listen but was lucky enough to catch it and I was in awe of the manifest power and evident presence of the Holy Spirit. A win for the kingdom of the Most High God, Jehovah!!! Well done, Mpoomy!! Keep lifting up the Name of Jesus by simply walking in His power and being a vessel!
Woow I like this.. so many people question death, the death of the people close to them especially but I'm so happy someone found a way to get through it, yes. God is enough, He is the one who fills that void in us
I love it here🥺
Mpoomy you are serving us yezwa 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️…. When Ntando said I like myself, I felt that
Literally can relate to ntando and I didn't know her till know i watched this podcast 🥺 indeed god can finish what he started, I enjoyed this podcast
This is so amazing and emotional esp Ntando speaking about his dad (reminded me about my dad). Most times when doctors tell you that you have a certain amount of time with ur loved one, they are just trying to comfort u but the truth is within the next 2 to 3 days they are gone. So use that time wisely.
I didn’t know how much I needed to hear this until I heard it. ❤ before clicking play, I though it was going to be about Ntandos divorce but then hearing about her dad 😢😢 I lost my dad 08 October 2021 and i can relate to everything Ntando spoke about even the relationship she had with her dad reminds me of mine 😢 I loved it. Thank you Ntando for being honest and sharing your heart. And thank you Mpoomy for another great podcast ❤
Two home mp girls having a beautiful dialogue..... Love it.... Feel so home watching this all the way from EC n myself being a mbombela sis,❤️
This was absolutely wonderful and it felt like 2 girlfriends chatting over a cup of coffee. ❤
