- Hello, i am Justin Ackerman and this is my 2023 Toyota GR86. If you saw the recent video's that i have posted, you would know that i took a trip up to Sebring to experience my first track day with my 86. In this video i go out to experience how the car feels driving around a proper road track, as well as get to experience the limits of what this 86 can really do. I hope you enjoy the video....

wow that was pretty educational. I could tell yall had fun. also hearing the car with that exhaust being able to stretch its legs is absolutely euphoric
Definitely the most fun I’ve had in the car to this date, and to hear it screaming and echoing all around me off the walls and barriers on the track was insane for sure. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 🤝💙
Looks like a fun experience bro! Keep enjoying your life and stay healthy g
I had so much fun, definitely come come back, or maybe visit another track that’s not to far from where I live. Thanks for the meaningful words and support, always appreciate your support. 💙
This is so cool man thanks for sharing. Cant wait to use my free tack day with my GR86.
Glad you enjoyed the video, i definitely want to take the car back out to another track day event sometime in the future it was so much fun. Thanks for watching, and showing support. I would highly recommended using your free track day experience! Totally worth it imo 💪
I hope you enjoyed the video, let me know if you want to see more videos like this, or have any other ideas you’d like to see me create. 💪💯
I know how exciting it must have been for you, I did my first and only track day a couple of years ago at Sebring in my Son's Ford Fiesta ST. I thought I died and went to Heavin! I've been to 53 12 Hours of Sebring races, over 6k laps on my sim and drove 40 or more parade laps there. So when I got out on the track I new it pretty well.
It really was man, it was honestly a dream to be able to experience what it’s like driving my own car on a race track. I also have a sim rig that I use almost every day, it’s unfortunate that I can’t driving Sebring on my setup, but it’s still great to get the experience. Thanks for the support fam, it means a lot 🤝💙
That looked so cool with all the other cars on the track. Looks like a video game with your car in it
For real man, that is exactly what it felt like. I always be playing Gran turismo and all the other racing games on my Race Sim like everyday, so it was so dope to actually be driving my own car on a actual race track. Thanks for watching and showing your support homie 🤝💙
Welcome to the sport, it's a hella addicting. Maybe I can see you sometimes at Road Atlanta soon.
Man, it was an absolute blast. Certainly makes me want to go back out again, however I’d like to get the car alittle better setup before considering taking it back out to something like this. Thanks for the support and love dawg, maybe one day I could take it there 💪
@@Justinackerman_ cambers are all you need for this chassis. Stock struts are surprisingly good for stock tires.
Noted!!! I’ll keep that in mind 💪💙
Randomly got this vid in my recommended and I had to subscribe. I live in Florida and just got an 06 wrx and would definitely love to come out to experience Sebring
Wassup fam, I appreciate you watching and showing your support 🤝💙 Awesome to hear you own a wrx, those years are by far one of the best looking generation on WRX in my opinion. That car would be so sick to experience on a race track. Appreciate your support 🤝💙
Great video experience man! Glad you and the car made it safe, and at the end of the day, that is THE MOST important thing when it comes to any track event. Especially when its your only car. Go at your own pace, have good rubber/fluids and being hyperaware of how the car is responds at all times. Cant wait for your next track day mang! Best of luck
Wassup fam, I’m so happy you enjoy the video. This whole experience was truly so much fun, and I would do it again in a second. Really learned so much from this when I was there, and hope to go back some day soon to see how much I can improve. I appreciate you watching and supporting fam 🤝💙
What a sick experience! Can’t wait to go back again sometime😁
For real, had an amazing time. Gotta get you in the passenger seat the next time we are out there though 💪…
Looks like a lot of fun 🏎️
Wassup fam, it was a blast. I’ve never been able to get this experience driving my car on the road before, helped me learn some of the limits of what my 86 is capable off. Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed the track video 🤝💙
Bro it looks great.
Thanks fam, the car did absolutely amazing out there, couldn’t have asked for it to be any better, especially on the current setup. Thanks for your support as always on the videos🤝💙
Hey where did you put your equipment you brought with you? I assume they don’t allow stuff in your trunk.
Hey dude! So I was actually gifted this free track day experience because I purchased the car brand new from Toyota. With that they offer you to go out to any local track for a day and they give you access to a helmet, and a garage bay where you can store the car and also unload any equipment that you may have. They wouldn’t allow you to drive on track with anything in the car whatsoever like you said, so you would need to removal all before going on track. I hope this could help answer your question, thanks for watching the video fam 🤝💙
How do you go to the track? What do you need to bring or do how much does it cost how long can you race for? Can you guide me to the process i never tracked before
Wassup fam, so I was actually gifted a one day free track experience when I bought the car brand new from Toyota. It was an absolute blast and I had so much fun. I actually made a video covering everything that I felt you should bring to a track day, it was also my first time ever being on a track so I know exactly how you feel! Thanks for watching the video fam 👏💙
i hope to get like you in the future!!
If I can do this fam, so can you. This was my dream to own an 86, and to drive it in all the ways I have always wanted too. Never stop working towards what you want, cause I promise you can achieve what you put your mind too. Thanks for watching the video, I hope you enjoyed it fam 🤝💙
Did u bring ur own helmet? Or am I able to rent one there , also do I have to put the number on before or at the track , those 2 things got me confused
I’m currently waitlisted
So when I bought the car I was actually gifted a free track day with a 1 year membership to the NASA program they do at Sebring and other tracks in the Florida region. With the free track day I know that you are provided a helmet if you don’t already have one. I don’t know if you have this membership or not, but I’d definitely look into that before deciding on anything. If you don’t have a membership, I know they have helmets there that you could rent if you don’t wanna buy one. I just rented one while I was there, and it worked fine for the day. As far as the number goes, there is a few different ways to go about doing it. You could always just get some painters tape and use that, or you could spend the little extra money and do what I did with the vinyl decal. I custom made mine and had it printed at a custom vinyl sticker printing shop. You could go online also there is magnetic numbers you could also put on your car. Remember that if it’s your first time out there, I wouldn’t go to crazy on buying stuff. Get the basic necessities, and if you enjoy the event, maybe the next time you could always spend alittle extra money for nicer stuff. There’s no point in dropping alot of money on something you don’t know if you are gonna really enjoy or not. That’s my advice at least, hope this could help out 🤝💙
@@michaelmontgomerie309 I was waitlisted for a few days as well, and then I revived an email saying I was accepted for the track day. I would wait a few days, and if you don’t hear anything maybe try contacting them to see if you get accepted or not.
@@Justinackerman_ well this eased me a bit , I really wanna go now lol
@@Justinackerman_ yea it’s my first time and yea I did get the GR free track days and nada membership , just currently waiting on the wait list 🥲
on those straight aways what speed were u hitting
I got up to almost the top of 5th which around 135 mph ish… it was pretty crazy to be able to experience it. I had a hella great time, certainly was a blast 💪🔥
How much was it for an open track day?
Wassup fam, so when I ordered the car from the Toyota I was actually gifted a 1 free track day experience in any local track in my area. I know if you wanted to go out though, it cost around 400-600 depending on how many days you spend there. Those are Sebring prices, I know different tracks vary though. Hope this info could help 🤝💙
