The CP 30 is crazy consistent for speed. I am actually impressed with the design. Bowtech has a really impressive engineering team to keep making the quality they have.
Bowtech is putting out some sick bows. I remember first hearing about Bowtech in the early 2000’s because when I was riding bulls I had some buddies that was sponsored by them. Bowtech had their name on so many vests. They was a great company then and an awesome company now.
I’d like to see you shoot at 450 ish arrow as well just to get a hunting speed as well as ibo. Still the best reviews on bows quick fast and to the point! Love it thank you sir!
I think it's awesome that you try to get your followers involved by offering giveaways. That's something that most RUclipsrs are not doing on a regular basis.
Its a lot of work to do all these reviews. Thanks so much for taking the time, really enjoy them and the information is perfectly presented. Bowtech is on my watch list for 2023.
Would be interested to know the differences between Revolt, Solution SS and now CP30. All 30" ATA bows, similar brace heights and speeds. Only real difference I see is CP30 has integrated rest option... Would like to hear someone dive into this topic. Seems the differences are minimal?...
Looking at my first new bow in over 10 years. I shot the SS34, right now in my top 3. I need to give the CP 30 a look. Thanks MFJJ, your reviews are helpful in the education process.
Really like all the video reviews. Would also really enjoy a results video ranking the bows in categories like speed, vibration, draw cycle, etc. Also maybe some speeds on different weight arrows. Overall awesome content!!!! And AWESOME MOHAWK!!
I’m loving your videos I haven’t owed a bow tech in a while but these new ones especially that ss 34 has me intrigued I’m a 29 inch draw length so I like the longer bows so that would be my choice would love to have a newer bow like that
dang, now I gotta wait for the Mathews to come out. going to be a toss this year between BowTech and Mathews. hoping Mathews has a 30 -31" ata bow this year. got a 33 last year, love the stability but shooting out of a blind and my tree stand is a little rough. try to get a new manufacturer every year, so I can see what I truly like and don't like. I'm blessed to be a DINK and have expendable income and can afford a new bow every year without a sponsor!
I haven’t shot a bowtech in a while. Unfortunately I don’t think any shops around me carry them anymore. It’d be awesome to give one a try! I’m especially intrigued by their new carbon model. Fun fact, my wife’s dad still shoots a bowtech mighty mite
Last year Bowtech got burned when their speed bow, named SR350, had trouble getting near that speed. So it looks like they are being more careful about actual speeds and IBO ratings.
For us shorter draw guys, this looks like the best of the new bows. I just can’t get on board with rubber between the limbs until this becomes a tried and true technology year after year.
I have a '22 CP30 that I haven't fully set up yet. Did they reduce the reflex this year? Of course, I bought mine a couple of months ago... Probably should have waited...
Hope Bowtech allows you to give away one of their bows. They have some very cool features and the last time I was in the market for a new bow it came down to a Hoyt and a Bowtech, needless to say Hoyt won my purchase. From what you've showed so far this year I think it would come down to these 2 brands again, I think Bowtech might win out just because the ability to make all these adjustments without owning a bow press, pretty cool stuff.
Depending on the bow, I'm right around a 27" to 27.5" DL, This bow is appealing to me first for Bowtech's tuning features but also I just like the look of the style of the riser, especially where they flair out for the limbs. Nice job Bowtech. Being a relatively shorter draw archer, I wouldn't mind a speed rating more in the 340 range but draw cycle smoothness isn't a big deal for me either. The "hump" tells me..... its fast!!! And I'm not one to chase speed at all but I do want something that will put a moderate weight arrow out there at a decent trajectory..... limitations when you're only at 27" really stack against us T-rex armed dudes!!!
I'd be cool to watch how you tune each bow given their tuning advantages. For example, getting the bow to spec., then shooting through paper with it out of the box and set to factory spec., then tuning each bow with the features each of them has for tuning with an estimated time to tune for each. So for the Bowtech's their system, the Hoyts, the Matthews top hats, Darton's split yokes, etc. It would be informative to see how a home bow mechanic DIY type person would do each bow to perfect tune and the estimated time for each given each bow's tuning technologies or systems. Does that make sense?
I just came across your video on the cp 30. My question is i'm a 27 in draw. In your opinion would you prefer the cp 28 or the cp30? Thanks for your videoes they are very help. Fan from Iowa! 🦌
You keep forgetting to measure riser length. Personally I don't care how close the ibo rating is to advertised, I just want to know how fast it shoots hunting weight arrows eg 420gr 460gr 500gr 550gr....
I think all of the Bowtech hunting bows have the dovetail cut in for integrated rest option this year... He didn't mention it, but you can see them in the photos on the Bowtech website... This is a feature I look for as well. 👍
The CP 30 is crazy consistent for speed. I am actually impressed with the design. Bowtech has a really impressive engineering team to keep making the quality they have.
I agree! Bowtech is crushing it!
I give props to Bowtech for finally being more honest regarding the speed of their bows. One can only hope the other manufacturers follow suit.

Bowtech actually posting and performing the same or very similar specs is a nice change in the industry standard most follow
Nice to see bows following the specs. The companies are really doing a better job. Thanks for what you do.
I like that they are getting closer to the actual speed of the bows. You guys are making a difference!
Bowtech really brings the performance and technology!!!
I had never considered bowtech- the more I see the more I would love to have one! Thank you for the review!
Keep the videos coming. They really help people try to narrow down better bows.
I think it's awesome that you try to get your followers involved by offering giveaways. That's something that most RUclipsrs are not doing on a regular basis.
Mfjj, I always like watching your reviews. Just state facts without any agenda.
Thanks for the review, I'm looking to upgrade- so I appreciate the details in your videos!
Thanks for doing these, definitely helps when you're looking at all the options out there!
Thanks for the review. I'm very much looking forward to getting this one in hand.
Really appreciate your reviews! I’m hoping to upgrade from my Hoyt Powermax before next hunting season, so these are really helping - thank you! 🙏🏻
Its a lot of work to do all these reviews. Thanks so much for taking the time, really enjoy them and the information is perfectly presented. Bowtech is on my watch list for 2023.
Awesome speed out of this bow
I really enjoy your videos and learn more every time I watch them 👍
That 30’is nice. Texas forever
Great video, makes me think i need to start giving all these bows a chance
Love the honesty in your reviews and non bias
Great review as usual. Looks like a solid edition to the 2023 line up!
Keep up the good work. Now I'm subscribed to all three channels. Keep the content rolling!!

Thanks for the review! Very appealing to my shorter DL.
Looking at my first new bow in over 10 years. I shot the SS34, right now in my top 3. I need to give the CP 30 a look. Thanks MFJJ, your reviews are helpful in the education process.
Looks great! I like the constancy of the shot speeds.
Thanks for the honest reviews!
Thanks MFJJ for the most honest reviews on RUclips. Stoked on the new bowtechs!
Very impressive consistancy and improvements compared to other 2023 bows, very good review would love to shoot it
Really like all the video reviews. Would also really enjoy a results video ranking the bows in categories like speed, vibration, draw cycle, etc. Also maybe some speeds on different weight arrows. Overall awesome content!!!! And AWESOME MOHAWK!!
Keep the good reviews rolling !
I been impressed with all the bows that's came out so far this year
Never owned a Bowtech but this new line up is looking very tempting!
This bow looks awesome. Really peaked my interest in the Bowtech
I'm digging the cp 30 been wanting a short ata Bow and this may be the one for me.
I need that pocket quiver. MFJJ Edition please. Not a 30" guy, but I wouldnt say no to it.
Sweet bow, so far it's my favorite in their line up
Awesome bow I’ll definitely look into it since I’m a 27 in draw
Great video about archery bow always
I’m loving your videos I haven’t owed a bow tech in a while but these new ones especially that ss 34 has me intrigued I’m a 29 inch draw length so I like the longer bows so that would be my choice would love to have a newer bow like that
Those are sweet bows👍
I think that bowtechs line up is in all better this year compared to last year
dang, now I gotta wait for the Mathews to come out. going to be a toss this year between BowTech and Mathews. hoping Mathews has a 30 -31" ata bow this year. got a 33 last year, love the stability but shooting out of a blind and my tree stand is a little rough. try to get a new manufacturer every year, so I can see what I truly like and don't like. Cp30 is right up my alley
Love the new Bowtech’s
A good whitetail bow right there
I haven’t shot a bowtech in a while. Unfortunately I don’t think any shops around me carry them anymore. It’d be awesome to give one a try! I’m especially intrigued by their new carbon model. Fun fact, my wife’s dad still shoots a bowtech mighty mite
Haven’t really had interest in bowtech before but everyone is making great bows now days! Really digging the carbon one though!
Gorgeous bow. I do like the carbon 1 as well but I think I’d go with the cp30 out of the 3 new hunting bow tech bows.
I've been on the fence between buying the cp30 or sr350 or realm x bows
I'll be glad to take that bow if you're giving it away lol. Good review as always brother.
Last year Bowtech got burned when their speed bow, named SR350, had trouble getting near that speed. So it looks like they are being more careful about actual speeds and IBO ratings.
Ive been waiting for this one and the reckoning 🥰
Thank you
Good looking bow I need one
Gotta love bowtech
Would love to see some reviews with the bows at 60lbs and short draw lengths
I have the BOWTECH REVOLT. That is 30 ata. It's a great bow. But I just got the mathews v3x 29 in granite. And that bow is a shooter
Best reviews on the interwebs.
Interested to see the rest of the line up and how they compare to the solution.
Like your reviews. I need help. If you had to pick one to shoot which one would you pick….cp30, sr350, or the envision?
My left ear loved this video...
Bowtech stepping up
Good lookin bow
I gotta try this bow!
For us shorter draw guys, this looks like the best of the new bows. I just can’t get on board with rubber between the limbs until this becomes a tried and true technology year after year.
It's nice to find someone who isn't jumping on the band wagon.
Adjustability on the Bowtech is super nice
I have a '22 CP30 that I haven't fully set up yet. Did they reduce the reflex this year? Of course, I bought mine a couple of months ago... Probably should have waited...
Looks like Bowtech nailed again
I’d be interested in that one.
Looks like a great bow but I would go with the 34
Hope Bowtech allows you to give away one of their bows. Thank You > MFJJ, > it`s the one for me !!
Love how you guys announce and show them all before bowtech even announces or changes the website lol

The bows this year claiming 340IBO are actually shooting about the same true speeds as this one, especially at shorter draw lengths.
Very cool thanks. CP 30 or 28??
Nice!
My next tree stand bow for those nasty angle shots
Not bad for sure
The CP 30 looks like it might fit me just right. Since I only have a 26 1/2 inch draw length
Same draw length. How much performance is lost?
How does this compare to the Elite Envision?
I do wish it was a little faster, but I think that just has to do with the ata being under 32--34
I'd be cool to watch how you tune each bow given their tuning advantages. Debating on the CP30 or the Carbon One. Leaning towards the CP30 just because its $500 cheaper and still a great bow.
What's the riser length!?
Nice shooting bow ( ss34 ) I need to go shoot the 28 n 30
I want to come from PA out there to Washington state and JJ put my boat together I wonder if you would do that
I just came across your video on the cp 30. My question is i'm a 27 in draw. In your opinion would you prefer the cp 28 or the cp30? Thanks for your videoes they are very help. Fan from Iowa! 🦌
Really think you should shoot some heavier arrows for us guys that sling heavier arrows. Best reviews by far though.
When do they drop these on the website for the public?
Bowtech cp30 or PSE evolve 30ds who's Best ?
You keep forgetting to measure riser length. Personally I don't care how close the ibo rating is to advertised, I just want to know how fast it shoots hunting weight arrows eg 420gr 460gr 500gr 550gr....
MFJJ, is it good for 30'' Draw Length? Does it feel good at a draw length of 30'' or is it too short ATA30 ?
What draw length?
Can yaw do 28 in draw 60 lbs 375 g arrow and a 400 grain
what is the price of that bow?
I’ll take it
^^^ I wish this was real 😂😂
This bow would be perfect for my midget arms. Awesome they are reporting speed closer to actual.
Does it have the intergrate option for the qad rest?
I think all of the Bowtech hunting bows have the dovetail cut in for integrated rest option this year... He didn't mention it, but you can see them in the photos on the Bowtech website... This is a feature I look for as well. 👍
