My favorite 990v6 these days are the Sulfurs that I bought used on eBay some weeks ago. They took forever to cross the USA to get authenticated and arrived with incredibly dirty insoles but after replacing those, the shoes look basically new. I just keep finding new ways to make them work with the outfits I wear… You should wear yours more Sam! Time to wear test them for a while! 😅
I love the 990v6, after owning and wearing it a lot the past couple months now. I definitely agree it's the best 990 yet for more active use and overall versatility. It's becoming my go-to for walks or light jogs and more active use (gym, etc). However, I still like my 990v4's more for other situations. For example, I would much prefer wearing them on rough trails or uneven terrain. I find the 990v6's too soft for this stuff. I also find the 990v4 the most comfortable all day shoe yet, they're simply more solid on foot and the tongue and overall fit feels perfect on my feet. If I was going on a long trip where I know I'll walk all over the place, I think I would grab the v4's over the v6's. For what it's worth I have slightly narrow feet and so the v6 feels great too since it's a bit more narrow. I didn't mention it but the sporty and more modern look of the v6 has also grown on me a lot as well. My mind may change after I wear them each a bit more, they're both amazing and it's definitely a tough choice for sure.
In my personal opinion anything over a 5k you should probably get more of a performance shoe. The V6 is mainly a lifestyle shoe in which you CAN run. You're going to get a better experience with NB 1080 or Asics, etc. since they're lighter and you probably will get more energy return. That said I still use the V6 for workouts and short runs.
The v6 looks a little goofy running shoe-ish but not nearly as much as a normal running shoe. And with some of the colorways like the grey or the Bronson color ways they look very high end and not at all goofy
Something I always keep in mind is that today’s modern runner is tomorrow’s trendy retro.
That’s a very good point
Those are a sick shoe!! I’ve had mine for about a year now and they don’t let me down!!
They are the best!
Hello Sam! Great video. Is the problem you had with the sole of the original V6 present in the other ones you have and has it gotten any worse?
It hasn’t gotten any worse and my other v6s haven’t shown any damage like they first pair

I couldn’t agree with you more!
Great video again! Do you think you could run 10k in the v6?
oh for sure!

I wouldn’t, only because my ankles don’t feel as locked in compared to other runners. Lifestyle wise though the v6 are top-tier and my daily choice.
I see you have the new action bronson's trail runners back there... hmmmm
Video coming soon 😁

The colorways for sure help its case
i think this model is too long and flat soo looks better on smaller feet.
