I don't mean to sound rude-I also play the flute and think its a wonderful instrument- but I don't like the bias opinions on the trumpet's sound. My sister plays the trumpet. This is a beautiful trumpet sound. I've always loved a trumpet that uses vibrato. I also love the tone of a flute, but I wouldn't say 'the flute is a 100 billion times better.' The trumpet is just a beautiful. I hope I didn't offend anyone in any way. Thanks for understanding. :)
@faddawe i play the flute too and i love it i would not give it up either when i have to drop off my flute so it gets fixed im sad becuase i cant play it has a uniqe sound its beautiful,and the trumpet has like a loud bursting sound but its impornant to have (no affense trumpets xD)

@faddawe Flutes and trumpets do two completely different things. flutes are solo style playing instruments, although they can be used for band settings. trumpets are band instruments, and band solo's There is honestly no caparison between the two. CLARINETS ON THE OTHER HAND...DON'T GET ME STARTED >:)
