I really agree with some of the points here. Governmental regulations are a must and it is consumers that can put pressure on companies. An amazing session with wide perspectives of and commitment to this issue beyond the fashion industry!!
As an artist, designer and work in both art and healthcare I am very pleased to hear this. I absolutely enjoyed watching this video. Brilliantly executed.
The problem with the sustainable agenda.. unless you are wearing same jeans for 10 years and buy clothes only when you need them, get shoe-soles fixed if they are broken instead of buying new ones (btw, most shoes these days don’t come with that option..) - you’re really not sustaining anything. I’ve heard so many of these conventions.. There are 3 factories that fully recycle textiles. They are keeping their trade secrets, because they want to eliminate competition and ensure they get max pay. That puts stagnation to sustainability, but fine. But the other things they are talking about are - the health hazard and amount of chemicals that goes into recycling textiles. Zara even mentions it somewhere on its tags. Recycled materials are indeed toxic. The only way to reach sustainability is to shut down fast-fashion, opt for locally tailored and sold pieces that you truly need. Produce textiles (wool and linen incl.) that are durable, not the “throw away before even washing”. Pretty much go back 150 years in time.
I'm sure they didn't choose this panel based on race/ethnicity, but on expertise in the field. Diversity of opinion is more important than diversity of race/ethnicity. As someone who is not white please don't baby us and give us special rights and privileges, we want to be treated equally and fairly, not given free passes just because were minorities. We wanted to be rewarded for the content of our character and knowledge, not the color of our skin.
Succeeful people don't become that way overnight. Most people you see as a glance_wealth, a great career, purpose, is the result of hard work and hustle over time . I pray that anyone reading will be successful in life.
so great to see Vogue platforming such an important issue- would love to see more videos like this

Would’ve been great to have had a more diverse panel ☹️

Would have preferred to see a more diverse panel.
Degrowth is the only solution
I like your pretty video is very awesome.😀
this topic is too sensitive. Vogue should have created a fun poll and got its 10million followers involved in this conversation.
