I'll just say this, the ex wife is able to be disrespectful of Sheeda because Bilal ALLOWS IT. The ex wife connection came from his side and he doesn't set boundaries to stop her from over stepping because it ENFORCES what Bilal wants which is a prenuptial agreement or obedience, etc. Bilal didn't say one thing to his exwife at any point to protect Shaeeda from feeling disrespected. The ONLY TIME he got even remotely uncomfortable is when the exwife revealed the issues that led to HER divorcing HIM. He got called out and seen for who he is. Bilal entrapped Shaeeda. He used their religious beliefs to bound them together saying they couldn't live together otherwise and did this well before she came to the states. That's bull! That's why Shaeeda is working so hard to make the relationship work. She felt married to him before the ACTUAL ceremony. She felt pressured.
Well, if Bilal defended himself at that point, then maybe I may have raised an eyebrow as to why he didn't protect his wife. Not everyone reacts the same way to be frank
Shaeeda is very politely outspoken when it comes to finally speaking out to get Bilal to understand his stubborn self

Not sure if it’s true or not but apparently Bilal had flaunted his lifestyle on social media(very likely because he’s obviously very status-conscious with his showy designer goodies), so she knew what he had. In any case she showed that she IS in it for the money when she was so disgusted by the truck and the house he grew up in. And she was rude about it too, asking if he could “even afford to order food”. If he was testing her she failed the test. I don’t know why he decided to just overlook all that despite her snobbery and allow her to act the victim. That being said Bilal is immature and can be mean.
