    Dude, I've seen tons of tutorial where they only puts random light withouut explain the creative dessions behind them. Even just for a simple rim light you explain it more deeply than most of the other tutorials. Thanks man

    This is an absolutely priceless tutorial. Multiple times here you had me inspired, especially as someone who has moved from cameras into Blender. It’s so much fun playing around with these.
    I was using regular lights a lot so Emission planes will be a new ones to try.

    Great video with a lot of useful information!
    Using Area Lights is generally better than using emissive planes in almost every way.
    - Area Lights render faster and cleaner with much less noise because of importance sampling.
    - To see the an Area Light rendered just like an emissive plane, select the Area Light, go to Object Properties > Visibility > Ray Visibility and tick the Camera checkbox which is unticked by default.
    - Light objects in Cycles can use nodes, this means you can put a texture on them or make any crazy shader you want, just like a plane.

    Wow what a great tutorial, what I would try to achieve by adding 2-3 lights and randomly moving and rotating them, I found out can be created with a single light and a few planes. Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial!

    For Gradient texture light, you only need Color Ramp, no need photoshop. Fuiyooo!!! this tutorial is great, but the Gradient Light make my feet down. Oh EDIT! make in photoshop is the most accesible and easy way for most people. Thank you for your tutorial.
