I discovered your channel a couple of days ago. I love your enthusiasm and the love for enjoying food. Thanks for introducing us to the smaller Spanish coastal towns not many of us have heard about
Such a beautiful video! I am travelling from Germany to Denia right now but I used to live in Denia for so many years. Very excited to visit the city with you again! Thanks! Claudia an Argentinean girl living and travelling with my dog always and everywhere!
Thank you so much, we’re glad you liked our video! It is a fabulous city, would definitely go back😁. We love traveling with our doggie too, but she can’t come on the bus😢. We want to visit Argentina so badly! We appreciate your support!
Hi guys, just discovered your videos and love them. We share a love of the same area of Spain. Me and my wife are retired and we usually visit for 3 months ( with our 3 dogs ) and stay in Oliva ( quiet working town but fantastic beach and restaurants and golf course! ). Valencia is a beautiful city and we stay at Hotel Helen Berger, recommend you visit, very cool place and the Agua de Valencia drink is excellent. Denia is a favourite of ours but we had not discovered the street food market so thanks for that, hoping to visit in October and will try it. Gandia is worth a visit, especially the Borgia Palace.
Amazing! Thank you for watching! We would love to visit Oliva and Gandia as well. Thank you for the recommendations. And yes, check out the street food market when you go back to Denia. It was pretty cool place, we would have tried more food if we had more time.
MY WISH CAME TRUE. Nice to see you enjoy a bourbon. Large drink. Carmel loved the hotel you selected. Salad looked good. Fun Fun Fun. Too bad there is no train to Denia from Valencia Bus it!!!
I’m a genie in a bottle! Glad you like the video and Carmel liked the hotel, it’s beautiful! Yeah, unfortunately no direct train, just a bus…after 6 months here you have to get a Spanish drivers license…working on it now😩
@@ACoupleofNomads I think you have to complete a Spanish driving course, right? I’m going to be there 8 months so I knew this. Looked into shipping my car, but it’s way too expensive. I could lease a car/rent way cheaper. Hope I get assigned to Valencia, but right now only know it will be that region. But don’t need a car in the city.
Hi Ken, yes, you have to take a written test (on the computer), take driving lessons with a school, and pass the driving test. After that you need to put a big “L” plate on your vehicle for the first year. Yeah, here in Valencia you don’t need a car, but it’s definitely easier to get around outta the city. Best of luck getting to Spain & thanks for watching!
Wonderful video. The quality was amazing. The weather looks gorgeous. Makes me want to visit ASAP. Loving the food as well. Always nice to know great restaurants to go eat when visiting a new place. The view from your hotel was gorgeous. Would you mind sharing the name? Thanks!
Hi Illam! Thank you for watching! We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! The name of the hotel we stayed is la Posada del Mar. It’s right by the marina. 😊
Lol!! The salad was LEGIT! Sooooooo gooood. Fresh tuna, salmon, shrimp, fruit and pickled veggies! The coconut dressing tho, unbelievably good! Thanks for watching and supporting us neighbor! We truly appreciate it🥰
Hi Robe, they are all great areas, we've only lived in Valencia which was great. It is really depending on whether if you want a small vacation city or a bit bigger city. Alicante seems to be a bit more English speaker friendly. Thanks for watching!
It took a while for us to get used it too. At least in Valencia in my neighborhood tapas hour (not dinner) seems to start a bit earlier so we were wondering 😅 Thank you for watching the video!
Nice video. But please, adjust the music in the future videos. The music is so loud VS when you speak. Constantly have to adjust the volume:( Most videos are the same on RUclips, not only yours. Sorry, but I had to tell you. Keep on with your videos.

Dinner starts about 9-9.30 (21-21.30) in Spain.. I'm Scandinavian so it took awhile to get use to!

Thank you! This is an old video that we made when we were starting out, so our new ones are better!
Where is Denia relative to Valencia?
An hour south. Thanks for watching!
