Same. I get how people like to put a mayo-based sauce or cheese on a barbecue sandwich, but something like brisket or pulled pork is always plenty rich for my taste. I prefer some acid and crunch to go along with my fatty smoked meat.
How could you destroy a brisket with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise? And really, a "Whopper"? Proper brisket sandwich... toasted buttered Brioche Roll, smoked brisket and a touch of sauce. NO mayo, NO lettuce, NO tomato, NO salt!!!
