If you withdraw the air hose from the reel prior to installing it will be lighter and you will have better access to the mounting bolts.The short leader hose is common with manufacturers, it is designed to connect an existing airline. The mounting arrangement is common also. The 90° fittings and quick disconnects do a neat job, however people should be aware that they reduce air flow, sometimes that is an important consideration.

So what if you wanna use compressor where retractable hose does not reach, you just unplug it and take it where u need it and use a portable hose to use it?
I’ve been looking at these on Amazon myself recently so I guess my question is have you had a chance to use it much and what do you think is it living up to expectations for you?

Hey Mike, How good does the guide wheels work when you pull the hose out to one side? The one I have has wheels on the side so that the hose doesn't bind. I'm looking to replace mine and want to make sure the hose doesn't bind when pulling the hose to the side. The one I have now pivots around to stop binding. This real looks like a good candidate to replace mind. Thanks buddy.
The extra hose they sent you is to make a whip for a air impact wrench. Also, it would have been a little lighter if you pulled out the hose. And would have been able to use a impact driver because there is no hose in the way
How do I unwind it and wind it back up it isn’t working good, when I need it longer it whips back. The 3 foot jumper is enough for me but What happens if the hose or jumper hose breaks do they have replacement ? Can the hose that comes on be taken off the reel

I loosened the bolts on the side and adjusted it. It's also shown in manual. Thanks for watching!!
