That body definitely not designed for speed, The front is a box, not aerodynamic at all! Ran great without for sure,
Arma impression are fast and reliable. The battery and 19 pinion gear combination is also good.

Do what I did I added led to the open area inside the chassis was able to keep the weight down
I think th body needs to be (Vented) all four corners, just like the (Arrma Vendetta), and it went (106mph! on 4s), but.. 6s is a bad mistake for the (HPI QuantumR Flux),or regular speed for (55mph) for that choice in making it.

Stiffin just the rear....put a rake on body by raising the rear body pins
Just dropped a castle 1415 combo mamba x with 2400kv motor in my losi db pro it’s a beast geared it back up to a 17t I think I can go higher on 4s. I can even run it on 6s if I could find a battery to fit but it’s fast on 4s if it can get traction it constantly pulls a wheelie

Nice video JayTee RC. One of my cars is a Maverick Quantum MT. This is a car I could buy but why was it flipping over with the body on?

Hey man what I need to change to make it 6s on the maverick flux because I seen another video where it made a lot of damage to the parts has in differential ..??any ideas on what I can get it what to buy to make it capable of using 6s
Do you have oil in the diffs I have 50000 in the front and 20000 in the centerr and rear..??seems to help alot

Hi, I would not have removed the wing, the pressure needed at the rear. can it be that the model is based on Absima?
This Wing design is not created for high-speed. I have a custom design I'm working on so that's the reason why I removed it. Matter fact this body's not really designed for high-speed see towards the end of the video how much better the truck handle without the body on it
@@JayTeeRC Pick-ups are never designed for high-speed, but everything can be optimized. ☝

I am glad i diddn’t buy the maverick truck.It’s so unstable
its the body at high speeds. working on adjustments
If you want to stick with the stock body, I've got three suggestions that should allow you to run full-throttle, keep the vehicle stable, and get faster speeds...all with the same gearing.
1) Vent (cut out) the rear of the body.
2) Replace the stock rear wing with something more stable/solid, such as carbon fiber.
3) Add a front wing, or change the front air dam, to give the front end some 'downforce'.
Another idea...to be done with, or instead of, #3 is to add a wheelie bar. This last one is more of a "last resort" idea, as the first three should resolve the problem.

Which motor is faster 3200 kv or 800 kv? Please help.
well 3200kv is a smaller motor and "revs" higher then a 800kv...but a 800kv should be 3 to 4 times size of 3200kv and also take alot more volts and run in bigger rc...

It's not really designed for that. Matter fact the whole trucks body isn't designed for aerodynamics and speedruns. I got a couple things I'll do with this in the future
Or a carbon fiber vented wing, could be a custom idea... if it might work?
Grab some other bodies,with more aerodynamic look . definitely solved the problem
