Like this comment if matt should do a group ride with subscribers
🤔
Didn’t he say he would already do something like that?
@@MuskokaFreerider How about an Avi awareness and fun day.
Someone with zero ties to the channel thinkin you have some kind a pull or power. Stfu and mind ya business lame
He did one last year, i am sure he will do another.
Like if Matt should come to interior AK with Jerry and ride with other father son duos 😀🤙🏽
Something about your videos I just feel like I’m living in them 😂
Ok. As a guy who has a single trip to the actual mountains(Rigsgränsen, Sweden). This is very very pro thing what i just witnessed in this video.
Liked really the fact that you guy's are pushing your self's to seek out new area's for you to ride and us to enjoy watching you rideing.
Your terrain is whole different planet in my point of wiew, even thou i live +300km above the arctic circle. Yes we have snow and loooong winter's. But snow is average 1m deep. In good winter 1.5m (2020).
Terrain it self is mainly treeles wildernes. "mountain's" ( we call it tunturi) are at ~600m elev. Shit load of small birches and rocky as hell...still enough fun for rookie like my self.
Like your content a lot. I dont know if you realize that you are an exelent front man for mountain sledding. Being honest to your self when knowing to pushing the limit turn's in to being stupid, is the thing that i like the most.
Sledding in Canada is on my bucket list (with few other thing's). Even if i wouldnt dare to hit in to the alpine through to trees...
Luckily i can see that you guys are doing it for me.
Thank you
thanks for sharing that info seppo!
As another Swede, it is indeed very different there in NA. The terrain is just getting higher and higher, it never ends, like a never ending hillclimb. I will also some day go to Canada to ride, how expensive is it to rent a pickup, sled and hotel for 1-2 weeks? Anyone knows? In Sweden having a pickup truck is unaffordable so would be fun to try that as well!
@@swedish_sadhguru3854 Sorry bro, I'm not from Sverige...🤣.
Slightly east from you.
Of all your videos where the conditions are not that stellar, this is my favorite. Some adventure mixed with technical riding mixed with comedy. Great job Matt!
I think you should take a gold pan with you and find a bend in one of those creeks and try and find some gold. There's alot of gold up in them hills and gaurenteed your reaching area's that most don't get to. These videos are amazing to watch btw
I have a hypothetical question...if your dad was stuck somewhere up high and injured with no chance of a helicopter rescue....are you trusting the Ski Doo or the Polaris to get up to him the quickest/most reliably?
One of the very very few people im subbed too that i dont skip any of the video. I start going through withdrawls when you dont post daily haha! Thanks for what you do matt.
Good time to explore and wrench on sleds. Counting down the days until I’m back in Revy and praying for snow.
where have you been?
I was exhausted watching you guys fighting those snow conditions. You're all great riders to conquer that snow. Skidoo guys did great and I know they're not easy to hold an edge in that hard snow...I ride a g5 too. Glad no one slid off.
I bet old Jerry will watch this and be glad he sat this one out lol😂
You guys sure looked bummed out on Sunday at the big E lol. Didn't wan't to disturb you. Yes saturday we shit for us too hahah.
How about an honest evaluation and thoughts on the 155 9R. There’s so much jumping around on the different sleds. Great entertainment and action on your channel. Good stuff…
9r is great in low snow / low elevation trees
Kids with enough energy to build bridges and jumps and shovel things out, I need a few of those in my group.
That was definitely a cool zone. I hope you guys go back when there's more snow. Another Great Video Matt!
I especially like when you didn't think you could do the pull and then walked right up. I don't think you realize how much the khaos sucks climbing straight up.
Wow! That was making lemonade out of lemons. Nice Ride!
you should try a sidewinder
I would kill to ride revy or Any other NA mountains even in the snow you have this Year! We have a great winter in sweden this year but terrain and snowpack cant compare to your ”low” snowpack 😢
No offense to you Matt, but i can hardly watch these videos anymore. Its too depressing. I went broke this summer and fall trying to get the minimum gear and the cheapest yet decent used sled i could find, and there hasn't been a frickin bit of decent snow yet.
Matt! Im not sure if its possible or if hes even in the same area.. but you should get in contact with janzkak. Hes in bc from norway? with his sidewinder. I would love to see you ride with him and take a spin on a sidewinder and hear your thoughts of riding a tank. Just a though if u guys get any snow
Great riders, and yet another banger of an adventure. Thanks for the ride along Matt
NOPE I'm all but certain I would not have enjoyed that ride LOL
Does anyone know if thw conditions are improving? We're supposed to be going in 10 days but not too interested if it
Stays like this
Quick question to anyone who can help answer please. Getting into an area that you're not familiar with and getting back out. What are folks using to help navigate? And is there a system that doesn't require a subscription fee for navigation?
Basemap app, does have a fee though
Cameras do not do justice to how steep that hill is.
Crazy cool adventure. The 9r was the right tool for the job.
It’s awesome you get out and ride even when the snow sucks !
You’ve gotta!
Great ride brother. You guys are getting sucky mild weather. I’m here in Cape Breton where it just puked 150cm in 2 days it stopped snowing Sunday night and I still can’t get out of my yard and there’s a 10 ft drift about 200ft long blocking my sled shed so I can’t even get my machines out to play. But I’m sure it ain’t going anywhere soon I hope. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️👍👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
It would be worth the effort to dig out a path. In Alberta we dream of a big blizzard. We barely get a few inches at a time.
@@thecabinguy3006 I started about 4hrs ago I’m about 3/4 of the way now I’ll finish up in the morning but it’s hard going with 4 discs gone in your back. I may not be able to walk tomorrow but I got to get the machines out for sure. I got a 17 renegade 850 and a an 03 mxz x 800R that don’t get ridden near what they should be
That is some extremely anomalous weather you are witnessing. As the resident Climate Physicist I will tell you, given current global sea surface temperatures at a all time record high you are going to see more of these days, but you will also probably see more big pow day too.
(Pulls out envelope, turns to back)
So, that is 0.6C above the 1992-2011 average which is higher than any similar time period before it in recorded history for context.
That's 0.6cal/cm^3 or 6,000,000 calories per m^3 and the global average active layer is 30m deep * 6,000,000cal = 1,800,000,000 calories per square meter of sea surface for the whole globe.
That is a shit ton of energy that needs to go somewhere. Wonder where it will go?
Also waves) HI Matt, hope the weather turns but it looks bad till minimum mid month so go north? Or maybe home for a bit?
Early February and it looks like there is only a few weeks left in the season at most in the Revelstoke area. You guys should head up to Alaska, supposedly they are having one of the coldest/snowiest winters on record.
We will see what happens
We sure are, and more snow in the forecast!
We're hoping for late snow in a lot of places. We're just hitting our early January numbers finally😂
@@leftyeh6495 In BC they have not even come close to the normal amount of snow. In Vancouver all the local mountains are almost bare and in Whistler the base is 131 CM which is abysmal. Normally whistler has around 300 CM and the local Vancouver mountains have plenty of snow this time of year.
Zero powder bog on the 9R this day!! Pretty sweet content as well. Your riding skills are very noticeable from the vids I started watching. Good stuff men. Have fun. Be safe.
Those conditions at the start look just as bad as im riding in NY right now... thats NUTS.
I don’t know if I’d go that far lol
Still lots of fun to watch! Thanks Matt!!
16:26 Matt losses the handlebar 😂 definitely an oh crap moment
Was wondering if someone would catch that
Hugos Sled is the Kweef mobile
Sooo...fresh Avi...clouds above, how did you assess your avi conditions. Maybe the footage doesn't cover it. Mat don't ever be bigger than the mountains. Renee had the same cheated the reaper so many times additude. Please speak to this, your a smart man we love you.
That was epic Matt! Looked kinda fun & technical 😊 hope you can go back when the visibility is better and climb to the top 🙌🏻
Worst "winter" I have ever saw, at least you're riding. I was supposed to go out there for a few weeks, glad I cancelled this year. Next year! Great vid, still looks fun!
Another sick video!! Even though the conditions are brutal you’re still being positive and having awesome adventures! Thanks Matt for keeping the stoke alive.
On the other hand, with all that energy (read water vapor) feeding Eastern Pacific storms things could change in a hurry.
I can only imagine how exhausting these conditions must be, but gotta say props for being out there. Keep it up Matt!
Man was just at boulder. Was unrideable. 😢 we packed up early. Local guy never seen it that bad. Feel bad for business that rely on this.
come to sweden we have plenty of snow here
Go To Chatter Creek ita unreal massive glacier out there....
No snow in Alberta either, always just wait for a new vid
There's snow around hinton alberta area I know a few good spots.
There’s only 9 inches at my area in northern Minnesota
We had a real great trip 😂. 3 inches of crust could jump on the untracked snow and not fall though
Great vid! Think we all know what happened just after the cut @ 23:29 :)
Nice to see they got Dallas’ sled fixed up fairly quick.
They gave him a loaner
your opinion, which is better among them, I want to buy one and I don't know what to choose
Where's the 700 at this season??
Hi! what do you prefer polaris boost& 9R?
It’s Pretty Sad that we’re all stoked it’s almost 0 degrees in Feb lol
The East is this year’s West. Time to take the sleds to the Nova Scotia pow.
Avy debris that big is sobering. Great video!
At least we know there’s not much left hanging there
Thanks for another great video, even though conditions suck!
Hell ya . I’ve been itching for a new upload . Doesn’t matter what , I just need my Muskoka fix 🙌🤙😝😎. Ontario sucks balls so bad right now 😩. May as well pull out the dual sport at this point 🤦♂️🤷♂️
It’s tough haha still having fun though!
Great explore mission content 🎉💪👍
Conditions look terrible.
Conditions aren't good here in Colorado either. Been snowboarding more this year.
Matt...at 6'3" I never feel comfortable standing. I always feel hunched over. Do you have any tall buddies and did they prefer a certain brand?
You actually need the tall bars, and maybe even a riser that everyone says are too tall 😂
All these pros talk about short bars, but most of them are 5'10" or shorter.
What sled is Dallas riding?
Did he buy a new one?
I love how good you are at snowmobiling
Head back to Alaska? Is the snow still good there ?
where do you usally ride
There were some pretty crazy spots, idk how u guys do it 🤙💪👌
Would love to ride with you guys one day 👏
What brand and model is your camcorder 'dad cam'? Not the recommended camera in the description. Thanks!
I honestly don’t know haha haven’t used it this year
Can you ride the old summit?
Matt reply if you see this?
See what
Thank you.
Love the vids even if the snow isn't perfect
'promo sm'
What day was this filmed?
Sunday. Crust is thicker now
Big boy zone. Impressive
I’m sure it’s a “Polaris” thing but that screen flicker at 18:20 would drive me nuts
That's just the frame rate on the camera. It does not flicker in person.
Hahahahaha polaris thing it’s the camera
should use that filter a lot more we can see things much better
Looks weird but gives a lot more contour
Buy a summit 600r and test it
I know this will be good
wooo !!!
Y love your vidéo ❤
There any snow in the forecast that way
It’s snowed 6” in the last 48 hours
Great video.
Oh yay
Love you guys!
So are you a Polaris guy now?
He has both a Polaris and a skidoo on his deck there. He's just a sled guy now, no longer an ambassador😂
🤯
Still Siiiiiiiiiiiickkk!!!
🤗😎🏆❄️
Thank you for sharing
Matt the subtitle is “Filmer: Hugo” not “filming: Hugo.”
Thank you for the subtitles!!!
