I would like to say this... here... spouses that have been betrayed may have themselves opened the doors thru addictions, porn, rejection, hidden unhealed wounds causing bitterness, anger, etc... seems everybody is jumping up and down to claim responsibility for success in marriage, but failure in a marriage is also a joint venture... imho...
I hope she finds someone that loves her. I hope the Lord looks upon her and gives a husband. A man of God. A man of prayer.
*Everytime I'm hurt or my anxiety attacks, I remember David and read book of Psalms. He was a depressed man, but remained steadfast in God* . Thank you Yahuah! ♥️🙏😭
Reading the Psalms is what stopped me from having pretty much weekly panic attacks!

Beloved sisters in Christ, We must understand that, it is because of our faith and godliness, we as woman go through this battle. The enemy saw an open door in your spouse, to crush your faith. Even though we love our husbands, they can not become our God. My heart goes out to those who reconciliation may never happen, know it's not Gods will. May His Spirit give u strenght to endure and overcome, with Him u surely will. He loves u.

At 12:08 it reminds me of a day I was at Mass and in the homily it was about moving forward from hurt and it sent me in a tailspin. I reached out to someone later that evening and he said don't give someone else the keys to your car. Easier said then done. I haven't been able to do that well at all. But with these topics and therapy it feels more and more possible.

See, THAT'S the part that Really TICKS ME OFF, Most of all, when I Know that they WILLINGLY listened to the enemy and carried out his plans. Especially from "Believers" who KNOW Better, Know that ALL negative thoughts and their accompanying plans for action ALL come from the enemy and make the CHOICE to listen or commit an evil/negative act against me or Anyone else!!!! That's the part that made it hard because now it makes it feel more "intentional" instead of an accidental hurt or a hurtful feeling or result due to a personal choice made with good intentions, but maybe just not completely thought out properly.
So true dear one! I’m so hurt and angry from my husband’s constant affairs during our 18 yr marriage and as a Christian people in the church use free will to sin against us. But they allowed themselves to be a part of the devils plan to destroy relationships and people. I’m praying
Thank you. For the last 3 years the realationship with my oldest adult child is estranged due to a choice to live transgender. Talk about shattered when everything you know in regards to relating to the person who made you a mom for the 1st time is gone. They want to be related to differently and in a way that is against my Christian core belief system. I live in chronic sadness. Your words encouraged me. Thank you. While our family loves this child and we fight to love them well and maintain relationship. This is not the way I thought mothering this adult child would look like. It's hard and devastating and is a chronic long ongoing heartbreak, that has changed our family's entire dynamic. It also has taught me a lot about how MY disobedience breaks God's heart and the seriousness of sin.

Elizabeth, that sounds incredibly difficult-and something NO parent would be prepared to handle. I’m so sorry this happened.
Though loved anyway, it sounds like your child has estranged themselves from the family, and I’m so sorry. I can imagine how hard it is relating to your child now. Underneath all the transformation, he/she is still the same person who made you a mother. All the happy memories, the laughs, ABC songs, stories read together and every scrape doctored is all still there. ❤️
The best way we can show Christ to others is with unconditional love, like you’re doing. As hard as this has been for you, I can imagine it’s been many times harder on your child. Choosing transgender is extremely difficult.
Though your child knows you don’t approve, and that’s okay, whether admitted or not, your unconditional love for him/her is probably more important than ever-even if they pretend to not care.
It’s understandable that you’re feeling lots of emotions about this that are hard to process and hurtful. God says if we ask for a new heart, He’ll give us one! I pray He gives you a new heart that will enable you to heal and to let go. God loves your child so very much. All you can do is love your child unconditionally and pray-the rest is up to God.
I’m so sorry for what your family is going through. I’m sure there are online support groups for other parents going through this. I urge you to find them if you haven’t yet. You’re not alone. 🤗

I’m sorry to hear this. Sometimes it happens because of generational curses , demons.
Elizabeth Campbell, many who are transgender, non-binary, etc have been sexually abused in their past. I know people who never told their parents of the abuse. Whether is was a family member, neighbor, camp counselor, pastor... MANY have been violated. I would encourage you to pray for truth to me uncovered. Nothing ever EVER heals in the dark.

I will be 58 years old this June. I have had much trauma. God avenging me has always come late. I want so desperately to believe these words but I do not see it in my life such thus far. People who have harmed me have been allowed to live out their days and then just simply die. I have not seen. I have not seen vindication if we believe in hell then I'm supposed to be satisfied that their spending an eternity there I am struggling with this concept. I need an apology, I need recognition that they were wrong. I'm in a situation now where I am watching someone who has harmed me tremendously now do the same to my child and because she has no physical wounds only emotional ones our legal system turns a blind eye to it. And God allows it to continue I don't understand
Beautiful and true. God's love is powerful. He can change hearts and He teaches us to love like He loves each and every one of us, we are all His creation, fearfully and wonderfully made by our loving Heavenly Father.

Dear Penny to forgive doesn't mean that we necessarily will forget, we are humans, we don't forget things that have hurt is easily. What we should aim for is being able to remember those things or people without them hurting our hearts anymore.
Forgiving is a usually a long process and God knows it's hard for us, but let's stick to Him and keep on asking Him to give us the grace and the power to forgive those who have hurt us, just as He forgives us every day our trespasses. ❤
Perfect timing as a 'friend' just sent some very hurtful words resulting from a divorce 6 years ago. Wow - really? I (thought) I was healed but what she said really hit me hard and I feel like I've just been punched with a setback. Thank you for providing your kind words. Going to get the printable resource now. I have forgiven my ex but apparently I have more people to forgive or ask forgiveness from.

Thank you for this, my narcissist ex husband hurt me and my family soooo much I don't ever think I can forgive, he doesn't even look for it he sooooo busy with his next woman but he getting older, I do believe that as I pass it on to God and leave it in his hsnds, do believe his behaviour stems from childhood trauma and do feel sorry for him every now and again but if he crosses my path all these years later he will still put me down so don't leave myself open, enjoyed this video gave me PEACE.

I am a 5 month, New subscriber. I found this channel while searching for help dealing with the pain of a recent Divorce. I was married for 35 yrs when my now ex-husband filed for divorce. He made me believe his decision was motivated because he was emotionally drained; due to me taking care of my Alzheimer's Mother. He Claimed he loved me & that there was nobody else. When it was all said & done he had been having multiple affairs & as our divorce papers where being finalized , he moved in with a woman he met on line. Our divorce was final at the end of February, 4 months ago. It has been a night mare! I have been on a Rollercoaster of emotions, pain, anger, bitterness......etc. I know GOD is by my side, but there are times, when I cannot hear him or feel him around me. Is this normal? I feel alone, forgotten, disposed of...

Wow wow wow ...so many insights and wisdom ...God is using your suffering for His good ...my story and your story are quite similar ...with one small difference ...your husband admits to his infidelity ...and has humbled himself before God ..mine won’t and therefore no truth or apology ..but I’m still standing for my marriage because I love God ,I love my family ...and I only answer for my actions ..no one else’s ..but I gotta tell you ...it’s HARD ...please pray for me ...I hear when you say somedays it’s easy and then some days it’s insurmountable ..but the only truth is God never changes ..I keep praying for truth and trust in my marriage ...I believe the evil one is holding me hostage with this not God ..so everyday I put on God’s armour and continue on my on my path holding God’s hand ..trusting only God and giving my husband to Him everyday ..

In the midst of my pain I could see that no amount of payback would erase, or do away with my pain. So revenge was out of the solution for my own healing. What I see is that there is no amount of payback, no amount of sorry's could heal but Jesus! When God told us revenge is His alone, He meant it. It was not something He gave mankind, although it may feel good in small moments to see the other suffer. He has given my heart freedom from wanting revenge but still a work in progress with healing.
Lysa, I'm so sorry we share the same story. I'm so sorry many women share our story. I am trying to figure out where God wants me in the midst of this battle, and to trust Him daily for His protection, healing and provision. It doesn't mean I'm not scared. I am. But I want my joy back, and THAT is in Christ alone.

The collection of hurt that just keeps repeating itself. At this point I do not think I am ready to forgive, definitely not ready to forget. In fact I feel like I need to keep reminding myself of all the past times things have been done behind my back and that it WILL happen again, to better prepare myself for when it does happen so that hopefully the anger and hurt won't be so bad. Sounds crazy but that is how I feel. I know that like you said revenge will just make me the bad guy and not make me feel better. I do believe that revenge would cost me more and I did need to hear that. Listening to this has made me decide revenge is not the answer and I thank you for that. I hear the versus and I understand the meaning. But I guess I am not a good enough person to act on those versus. I am not ready to let this go I just feel like I need to protect myself by not forgetting so I will be better prepared when it happens the next time.

We want heaven...now!...and we want others to provide it. The desire in our souls is legitimate but we'll simply have to wait. If not we'll put our hope in idols and they will betray us.

My heart is so broken and I feel so far from God. 19 year cancer filled marriage with a lot of ignoring and saying mean things to me then to find a man who said he loved the Lord but was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Lies and the horrible things he called me a long with the need for alcohol more than me. Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. Feeling worthless.
I am so blessed for this to have come up as a suggested video. I am going through a very painful experience that has ended my relationship and unfortunately for my safety, reconciliation is not attainable. Thank you so much for sharing about compassion. I couldnt understand why I was feeling it for my aggressor and now I understand that it's for my healing journey and for his as well. You're right about the healing journey being a roller coaster. Please do not guide people wrong by saying, reconsiliation is part of forgiving.
That is wrong and you should make this clear.

I think he has cheated, however its been controlling, demanding, manipulative, verbal and emotional abuse
I hear u about number 2 having compassion for the person. I do try, it’s so hard when I have forgiven and it just happens again and again but this time the result it’s the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I would say place boundaries but how do u do that in a marriage. I need prayer please.
How to draw the line between showing compassion to the person who hurt you and finding excuses for their behaviour?
For example, my husband went through abusive childhood, how can I avoid making this as an excuse for his abusive behaviour while at the same time showing compassion, forgiving him & moving on?

"Healing is full of triggers"
I have successfully been able to use the tactics Lisa’s provides for forgiving the unforgivable. However, there is one topic I haven’t been able to get past in forgiveness. There was a group of men who unknown to me at the time drugged me by the help of who I thought was a dear Christian friend. There intent was to gang rape me and kill me. God intervened and saved my life. I was still raped, but I am alive. They were not caught. They did go one to do this to others. My friend who was involved in the church left quickly and moved for “other reasons”. Somehow I have been able to begin healing from the deep betrayal from whom I thought was a friend because I was so close to her I new the hurt she had endured growing up. However these men, who have continued in human trafficking, and worse continue to victimize others. I can’t see them as a child, I can and do see Satan and his demons at play in all this. However, forgiveness has been undone. I am unsure how to get there. I love the Lord. I want His will. I want Him to be glorified. I am unsure of my steps in this process even though it’s been years since that time. I stuffed it and moved on with my life. The Lord has just been recovering memories both consciously and unconsciously previously forgotten.
