That is the coolest mausoleum I have ever seen. I lived in the UK and for a channel like this, PLENTY of things to document.
Ohh wow! It’s so cool you can be there and show that to us! I will likely never get there, but I’m really happy to be able to see it through your video eyes! Thanks 😊
Aw I hope you can get over here. You'd be very welcome! many members of my family are buried in that cemetary, Mortlake
Today, London. Tomorrow, THE WORLD!!! Keep at it, man. Hope to see draculas castle one day.
Hello Chris that is a very interesting tomb shaped like a tent but I really like it 😀 😄 😊 😁 👍 ☺️ 😀 😄
Very cool, it’s great that she even decorated the inside. I love that it has a window. Thank you for taking us along to check it out with you.
Love the Fact your in my country showing what England has to offer. Absolutely brilliant content. 🏴🏴
Now that is a very interesting vault, nice how she thought to have a window installed to view inside and that they still allow people to do it
I love visiting old forgotten cemeteries in southern Indiana. I randomly pick rural county roads and virtually guaranteed a cemetery every time.
That was really cool. I loved how they put a mirror inside so you can see the opposite side. I ha r never seen a mausoleum decorated like that. It had to have been his wife's doing.
She died after he did, so yes it was her doing. She was Catholic but he was not. Sr Richard might have converted to Islam during his travels through Arabia.
A tomb with a view.
Only in England do you find such quaint, Victorian-era resting places like that.
The man inside was nothing like a Victorian. Quite the opposite.
Very cool! Thanks for showing this.
This is nice i never seen anything like this before
An over the top extreme grave there!
Thanks for showing us Chris!
👍👍👍👍
That T-shirt gets you an instant subscribe! You could have asked Sir Robert to come out and playyyayyyayyyyy, lol
I love your shirt “The Warriors”, I have the same shirt, too small on me now. 😆😂
That's one of the things I really like and appreciate about Chris' channels, Chris doesn't just rehash locations other RUclipsrs have already covered ad nauseum, he takes the time to find different and interesting things. Thank you!
Wow!! Amazing Chris! What a tribute 🌟
What a very cool and interesting Tomb. Thanks for sharing this one with us Chris.
It’s really cool that the glass isn’t alll weathered and opaque. All other windowed tombs seem to have leaked and grown ferns usually, or are just so dirty that you can’t see anything inside
I've seen this on another channel great looking mausoleum
Me, too. But always fun to see this unique memorial🪦
I love short videos that are LOOOONG on content, thumbs upped this one man.
I knew instantly that it was Sir Richard and Isabel Burton, a power couple of the era! Not only did he find the source of the Nile (disputed by his rival Speke), but also explored up the Amazon (with Isabel). Translated the Arabian Nights, and wrote amazing works of his own. I never knew you could see inside the tomb! Thanks for sharing that with us!
That’s amazing how that was built. Romantic in a way, just you and your wife in there
How exotic!
Thanks for sharing.
Man thay is amazing!
It is like his wife knew peoplenin the future would be curious about the inside amd decided to help out
That's an amazing tent shaped tomb. Especially the window for viewing their coffins and a tent interior look alike . Has to be unique .
What an absolutely incredible Tomb!! 😮 Thank you so much for sharing this!!! 💕
Such a spectacular final resting place. His large and exotic tomb certainly reflected his life. So very cool!
Wow what a beautiful mausoleum, thankyou for taking us with you. Stay Safe and Well
Always watch your videos Chris but remember...theres more to the UK than just london!
Thank you for your very interesting content.
To say the least this much Learned Man went out in STYLE!!
Chris, you find and take us to some of the most interesting places, places that more often than not, we don't even realize exist. Thank you, God Bless and stay safe.
This was quite stunning to see - thank you so much for showing this to us!!!
Great video as always Chris. Thanks.
Dude, you've got the best shirts.
So unique. Very creative. Probably the only one like it in the world.
Now that was cool! 👍👍👍👍👍
Hah! Until you mentioned the dates, I thought it was about Sir Richard Burton, the British actor! 🤩
lol. He is buried in Switzerland.
Chris the things you find are so interesting and wonderful. Keep up the great work.
Absolutely amazing! I love that they had the foresight to put a mirror inside so you can see the whole thing!!
Cemeteries of all kinds and ages, are very interesting and beautiful. Cloudy and misty days, really make for great videos and stills. With many trees in cemeteries, the Fall brings very colorful sights.
Terrific, as always Chris! I did not know that much about Sir Richard Burton. Thanks for educating me. Thanks too for sharing your work and your art.
Whow that is really unique. Window to heaven.
Definitely unique!
@@MobileInstinct2 1:00 "Richard Burton mastered 29 languages". 🤣

Different Richard Burton

I cant believe i have never seen this.Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Chris !
That's an odd one for sure. If you ever get the chance, visit Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond VA. Lots of off tombs and grave markers. Even a few presidents are buried there, along with Jefferson Davis.
Amazing!
Wow. That is totally awesome.
Oh wow. That's awesome 😎. Thank you for sharing
Thanks Chris another great video very interesting 👊👍🇬🇧🇺🇸

Very unique eternal resting place!
An interesting guy to say the least, my hero he was a man way before his time. If you haven't read about him please do. I have an old oil painting of Sir RFB on my living room wall. Fascinating man .
Glad your enjoying our UK 🇬🇧
Curious who was buried behind the tent by the ladder.
That is a awesome mausoleum
Awesome Video Chris
🎉🥀🇮🇳🎉🥀

Whoa! How cool and nice is that?
Who doesn't know what the Kama Sutra is! Lol Too funny Chris!
Particulary the porn-prone US culture.🤣
@@internetcensure5849 Im so glad I don't watch it.
So cool
Most creative
Epic!
Interesting Chris.
Cool
Hi you make a very beaitiful video.
People are sleeping without mobile phone
Mort lake is where alchemist John dee had his house and library that was looted when he went to Eastern Europe.
gosh to think when they died there was no constant aircraft activity nor a road network full of cars and trucks.
probably a nice quiet place to be
the tombstones in Europe are amazing. if those were in North America, they would be destroyed by vandals.
@Belushi87; Unfortunately that's too true.
wow that’s unreal
If you can find the book “The Blue Nile” it tells the story of this amazing explorer.
That is interesting. How would you like to be buried? I would like to be scattered somewhere. Banff or Canadian Tire center or somewhere in Algonquin park. If in the States I love Florida so anywhere there.
