From what I know about GD bugs, comments on deleted levels cannot be removed. It is unlikely that most of your old comments were posted on now deleted levels. Instead, it's more likely that at some point, you viewed your comment history, saw your old comments, and deleted most of them years ago and simply forgot about it, with only the comments on deleted levels left standing.
