Brilliant car! I had a 2013 RS6 from new until April 2022. 146,000 miles. Just be aware of the upkeep. 5 Sets of tyres all arounds, 5 sets of brakes and discs all around. You can part with 5K each time! Oil change very 9000 miles and so on. I now have a RS5 (2022) which I really like and much more "sensible", but nothing like the RS6. My RS6 was a Litchfield version (750 BHP). Insane it was ! Mark
was looking at the rs6, but how you liking the rs5 and is it the 5 door? having a family and all and a toddler was wondering if the rs5 is enough or i have to get a bigger car, thank Mark
@@gt35rt hi. Have the 5 door version of RS5. Much more practical and the doors are less wide when opening. A bit tight in back for 15/18 year old sons, but they don't travel much with us anyway. Boot is huge and useful. Quality...hmmm feel more flimsy than the RS6, but then again the A6 car platform is overall higher quality are more expensive for like for like comparison. Still very nice, just a few rattles that get on my nerves. Power.. hmmm delivered in a different way than RS6, more linear less brutal. Not in same league as RS6, even before my Litchfield conversion. 0 to 60 MPH is probably similar between the two, but the RS6 just pulled from any speed or situation. I guess not really any regrets as such, but the RS5 is a compromise over my RS6. Oh, as for MPG ,if you drive RS5 on motorway sensibly at legal limit, it will do 40 MPG, whereas RS6 was rarely above 30. Mark
@@markramsay6399 thanks for the detailed reply, as time goes and getting more mature I'm no longer buying a new car every 2 years, hoping to buy something with grunt was looking into the rs5 but hoping it doesn't get boring after a few years how is the sound of the exhaust? Any option to make it louder with some snap crackle and pops from factory exhaust? Thanks again Mark
Nice looking car but my 2017 Audi S3 was very dated inside and had lots of issues even though it had full Audi service history. Some service things are optional e.g. air con so always check. The RS6 has KNOWN faults and issues like all Audi VW group cars, always Google known faults before you buy. New Audi's feel cheap inside as they use cheap plastics.

@@gt35rt I hear you ! It has the sports exhaust. Plenty of pop and crackles in RS1 mode, but not excessive like say a modded car.
Only negative is the standard steel brakes, which warp (facing them will resolve). Get one with carbons and it is truly one car to beat them all.
They'll only warp if you don't look after them. Had mine for near 2 years and the brake are fine 👍

Towbar can't be fitted with DRC suspension only the air model.
The camera is in the rear view mirror not the headlights... do your homework!
