This will eventually turn into the norm for most mechanical vehicles produced I think! Definitely industry leading technology here

What happened to the name LeTournea??????????Komatsu was not around back in the 1920s when Robert G LeTournea was trying this stuff out.It was also a big mistake for the United States Government to allow this Japan based company Komatsu to buy up P& H ?Joy Global to begin with like they allowed with Dresser in the late 1980s.It least when industry leader CATERPILLAR bought Bucyrus International 10 years ago it was one American company buying another one.The fact that Komatsu is a foreign based business should have been a giant red flag for the United States Justice Department under Obama but was totally ignored

And let LeTourneau slowy die off on their own instead, would that have been a better option? Caterpillar bought Bucyrus who bought the Large Terex excavators which were the O&K line which were German. Thats ok though? Caterpillar bought a Canadian company called Lovat a few years ago who made world renowned tunnel boring machines . Guess what, they kept the plant open for a year and a half then got out of that line of equipment and CLOSED the doors. The great American Caterpillar tractor company.
Komatsu bought Dresser as you mentioned which included the old IH / Hough construction line. And they kept some plants that are STILL producing equipment today. Also included in the Dresser sale was the world famous Wabco Haulpak line of trucks that are STILL made in the US by Komatsu as they also kept that plant open as well. Komatsu is investing in Longview and Im sure the workers and locals are greatful for. They havent cutback on R&D as proof with this latest gen 3 technology. Go back and do all your homework Pal. Komatsu has been Great for the US and US workers. Ask that of all those laidoff Caterpillar workers from all the Cat plant closings of late.......
