Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it. *Spoiler alert* tomorrow I'm going to be recording a previous generation Yamaha bike. Video may take a while to edit but stay tuned 👀
I’m 5’4 , would you recommend me getting this bike? I like sports fairing bikes over naked bikes and have thought of getting either an r15 or a gixxer sf 250, would love getting your opinion on this
Definitely! This is a very short bike and it's lovely to ride and easy to control. If you've finalized on bikes with fairings, this would be the first bike that I would recommend. If you're also considering the Gixxer 250, the R15 might feel much more uncomfortable and tough to get used to because of the ergonomics. If you want a bike that is more laid back and has better comfort, the Gixxer is the bike to go. The engine is very refined and just feels much more smooth compared to this. The engine on the R15 loves to be revved out (as you might have seen on the video) and is just such a wonderful bike to ride. (I would personally go for the R15). You might want to consider a bike that is between both of these, The KTM RC200. DM me on Instagram if you need to know more (@motorcritic)
@@motorcrit hey! I appreciate your opinion! The posture and comfort is a bit important for me since I will be riding my bike for 30+ kilometres everyday. I'm probably gonna go for a test ride for both the Gixxer and the r15, my dad won't get me an RC or any ktm bikes since the locals in my area do absurd stunts and stuff which my dad dislikes xD and as a result he has a personal hate towards ktm bikes. Will definitely reach out to you on Instagram and let you know what I ended up buying!
@@fahimahmed6971 oh yes, I definitely can relate to the "Dad dislikes KTM". But hey, the R15 packs a punch with an amazing mileage at the same time. The Gixxer might feel like the bigger bike but in the end, it all depends on your personal preference. Don't be afraid to ask for a longer test ride. Cheers.
@@motorcrit yes absolutely! The r15 will probably feel uncomfortable for a while but I suppose it won’t take much time to get used to the aggressive posture
@@motorcrit Thank you for your feedback! Appreciate it a ton, also followed you on instagram and subscribed here, looking forward to seeing your journey ^^
Haha I asked my friend if he ever maintain 3.5-5k rpm and he said he only did that during the break in period. He constantly maintains 9-12k rpm. Getting 43 is a huge thing actually.
It's a great city bike! It easy to maneuver and since it's very short, it's easy to control the bike easily. In case you're not happy with the ergonomics of the bike, try the MT-15. Both have the same engine but you'd be missing out on a quickshifter. The MT-15 Feels more comfortable than the R15. @@motorcrit no I love faired bikes..and not interested in mt 15 because of shorter seat..I was planning either duke 200 r15 or classic 350..keeping in mind of banglore traffic..what do u suggest
There are rules, people just don't follow it. The thing is, traffic rules are taken quite lightly here which put peoples' lives at danger. There aren't any "severe penalties" as such in case you cut someone off or do stupid stuff on the road. Although the system is changing quite quick. People are changing, it's getting more civilized. Oh yes, the R15 is an amazing bike.

Do share the video around.
@@motorcrit sure and will you do a review of mavrick 440?
Sure. I've got a few commitments for the next 3 weeks. I will post it in a month or so.
confused to see someone who actually sounds decent doing an r15 review.
you gained a sub🥰
Might as well subscribe to the channel so you would see an XL100 review that sounds decent.
Jokes apart, do check out my other videos as well.

Go there.. Go there.. Thank you!🗿
Imagine it went into oncoming traffic.
Ask your friend to put 95 Octane and it will give 50+ in cities ❤️ p.s. I drive very calmly at around 3.5-5k rpm most of the time
Yeah. Save here spend there.

Any thoughts about V3s?
V4 means its v4 engine?
R15 Version 4 (4th generation). It's a 155cc single cylinder.
Bro is it good for daily use like office use in banglore

Get a gem handle bar riser 2:50
Oh yes that could also be helpful. Clip On risers are available in the market but not a lot of people put it on the R15.
How tall are you?
Around 5'11
If i do one pushup for everytime he let go off the handle, I'll be jacked tomorrow. Nonetheless Good video👌
Thanks a lot.
First of all, do one pushup and show then we'll see about the rest.
@@motorcrit ay what you mean, I can do pushups with you on my back (I'll die)
u r a pro
Thanks.

que es esa mrda de tráfico, como pueden conducir así por cualquier lado?!!
This is actually nothing lol. You should see other places in Bangalore, they're worse. But Bangalore is one of the most beautiful cities ever.
