- According to Danny Maude's recent online student Steve this golf tip is possibly the Best Driver Swing Tip Ever!
Probably just like you Steve wanted to know:
How to hit driver straight? How to hit driver consistently? How to hit driver further? More importantly How to hit driver without too many swing thoughts.
Well just like you Steve is an online student and with an inability to get hands on, Danny had to make sure that any golf tips he gave Steve promoted the correct FEEL for the golf swing. Steve had to have a golf tip that enabled him to develop his golf swing on his own
This driver swing tip dis exactly that.
What's more anyone can do it. So whether you are a beginner golfer looking for golf tips on how to hit driver for beginners or advanced golfer looking to get back on track you should find real value in this golf lesson.

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RUclips and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.

3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing
Hope you enjoy - Спорт
Nobody makes it as simple as Danny. NOBODY. Top3 best coaches on RUclips in my books. Thanks Danny👍
Thanks for the feedback Imam
Have to agree Imam, Danny seems to have a way of explaining things in easy to understand way, wish I lived close enough to have the odd one to one lesson 🤣
There are so many instructional videos out there, but this guy is hands down the best. The biggest problem I have is managing all of the things I’m thinking about during my swing and he puts it in a way that makes it so easy to understand the “why” of what you’re doing. This information is gold.
Really kind Alex thank you
Thankyou Danny. I've always struggled with the driver. When its really bad its your channel I turn to 🙏⛳
Thanks for the support
I am a newbie at 72 and have been watching multiple videos and now I only watch and download Danny's. Danny, your presentation style and enthusiasm is amazing. The way you explain things is sooo easy to understand. I have taken lessons and incorporated your tips in all aspects of my game. Thank you.⛳
This release he is talking about here is really lighting up my brain. It reminds me of what I see in LPGA swings, which are for me much more relatable than the 180yd 8 irons the PGA pros deal with. It well explains that a rhythmical swing feels like it is always releasing. I simply have to integrate his concepts into my game. My great gratitude Danny Maude!
You are very welcome, I feel all this talk about tour players hitting it 350 yards is just so disconnected from the real world of golf
Best driver instruction, EVER. Before my round yesterday, I warmed up at the range with one-armed swings. After only a few wacky shots, I was able to hit the ball solidly with either arm after I eased into the pendulum rhythm. I took that feel onto the course and hit the best drives I have hit in years, with less effort than I have ever used. I was amazed and so were my other 70-year-old buddies. For the hundredth time, THANK YOU, DANNY!
Superstar, thanks for taking the time to share Bob
Danny! Your teaching method is amazing I cant thank you enough for all the great lessons and information. Cheers mate. ❤️🙏🏼
I really liked the video. I immediately went and tried it, and it really simplified the swing for me. I added my left arm and it was a much better swing. I'm going to work this into my practice every time. This was a great tip. Thanks.
Great breakdown of technique into such a simple explanation Danny. Thank you. You make it look “as simple as that”.
really try 😁
Danny, I just wanted to let you know that I love you. This drill is so simple and makes so much more sense than any other video out there. I can't wait to get back out on the range and practice this. Thanks for the continuous stream of great videos.
My pleasure, really happy to help
I have a chicken wing. Be glad to be your example of a bad swing.
Danny, I just have to say your videos have done more for my game than any other content provider or pro. The “feel” thing you do rather than a list of technical things you body should doing has been an epiphany for me. Just wanted to say thank you! Keep ‘em coming!!!
Thanks for the support
I’ve been doing this drill from one of your earlier videos “The Right Arm Only Swing” it puts me in so many good positions I find it impossible to cast and being left handed but playing right handed golf it gives me all the feels and throwing sequence from the ground up which really trains my weaker side. This and all the loosen up and swing freely videos have transformed my ball striking especially lag and compression not to mention effortless club head speed. As I’ve mentioned before here, lockdown has let me go brain dead on the drills daily in my garden net and videoing my swing. It’s been so good for my well being in these challenging times to have your game changing concepts and enjoy such amazing results. Thank you so much Danny.
so awesome to hear Martyn, thanks for taking the time to share
You sir...... should be at 10 million subscribers. Most concise conveyor of knowledge about the golf swing I've seen, ever.
really kind thank you
@@DanielMaude Your demonstrations literally create a real feeling and visual that I know will translate immediately on the course or the range.
Every Saturday morning before a round of golf or a training session, I watch your videos with great attention. They are clear, straightforward and simple. 1 year: 54 HCP - 16.4 HCP Thanks! Greets from The Netherlands!
Amazing Richard, thanks so much for sharing your results
Wow keep it Richard you’ll be a youtuber soon 👍🏌🏻♀️🏌🏻♀️
Likewise - I went from 34 to 24 this year and this is very much a result of watching Danny 😀
Well done Katrina Danny explains it so easy! 🤷🏻♂️Most of the others try to explain it like we’re pros and understand them which were not 🏌🏻♀️
This video definitely clarified many of the errors I make from time to time with this club. Valuable info Danny!!! Thank you and be well.
You are very welcome, look after yourself
Can’t wait to practice this. You’ve described my current swing perfectly (tight, short, chicken wing) and this makes so much sense in terms of loosening things up. Elongating the swing , getting a longer and wider arc for more momentum and power. Thank you Danny.
Happy to help NTR let me know how you get on 😁
This is excellent 👌. I will be giving this a go, when the snow leaves!
Enjoy Wayne all the best
Great drill, makes the release a lot simpler and helps me with the transition from back swing to down swing.
Happy to help Bob
Love these to do video Danny binned. My net after last lock down these drills are a life saver to me thank you after 30 years of getting worse my game has be come so enjoyable since following your vids and visible improvements massive thank you .
Thanks for sharing Barry, made my morning
Excellent drill for the upcoming spring months here in New York. Looking forward to getting back in the groove. I always like to “tune up” with Danny’s video tips
Another awesome tip Danny. Feel is everything in the golf swing is key. Good advice to get both feelings in mind, good and bad.
Really hope so
Absolutely an award-winning tutorial! Really an excellent explanation for the "feel" of the golf swing. So sorry to hear that you still have that nagging injury. Hoping it gets better soon! All the comments below are so true. With me it's, "Saturday Morning Coffee with Coach Maude!" What's the deal with this lockdown business? Thought that things were getting better, in the U.K.,, and you were beginning to get the preventative treatments? Certainly, COVID-19 has changed all our lives forever. Cheers, Danny, and keep the family safe!
Thanks Bill, yes still locked down as Covid rates go crazy. We don't believe the effects of the vaccine will be seen until sometime in March/April
Brilliantly simplifies what has been made so complicated! Thanks once again Danny.
My pleasure Jude, really happy to help
just found this channel and the first video explained all the questions I had about the golf swing. So easy to practice even at home and carry to the course. Thanks a million.
Welcome to the channel Brain, look forward to helping you with your game
Hallelujah, at long last, I've found a driver tip that actually works !! Thank you Danny😀👍
My pleasure Michael, happy to help
Great tip Danny my coach had also thought me this when driver not going well and it works ever time. 👍
Thats awesome Tom, one of my favourites
Your videos continue to amaze me with their clarity and how you make it easy for the everyday golfer to learn something from each and everyone of them.
Thats really kind Ron, I feel with all the talk about 350 yard drives from tour players amateurs need advice that doesn't require a team of fitness instructors, physios and 10 hours of practice a day to play golf
I wanna thank you so much m. Been struggling so bad with the driver and something about watching your video this morning compared to the 100 other videos yours made things finally click. Thanks again
Pleasure Nick hope it helps your golf
Will definitely give the one handed swing a go when the range opens up again after lockdown. Another great lesson Danny stay well mate cheers
Thank you Dave, look after yourself
Thank you Ernest Jones. My first golf lesson from sixty years ago. Swing the club head.
Love that book, a friend showed it to me probably 15 years ago
Excellent advice, Danny. Really appreciate your dedication to teaching and helping us get better at golf.
You are very welcome Jeffrey, appreciate the feedback
Danny Maude, der beste Trainer! Anschauliche, für jedermann umsetzbare Tipps! Absolut genial!!! Greetings from Bavaria, Germany!
How is this brit not the most viewed teacher on the internet? This lesson is fantastic.
Thats very kind appreciate the support
Danny, that was brilliant! Heading south in a couple of weeks, can’t wait to work on the proper release and see the results.
Enjoy Dana
Just excellent, as usual!
Thanks for sharing, Danny!
You are very welcome Herve, all the best
Danny, you are the answer to all my Golf frustrations! I have improved my swings dramatically in a short span. I have been struggling for years trying to improve my game. Thank you very BIG!!!
Pleasure Manny, happy to help
Thanks Danny. Going to the range on Tuesday. Will certainly be putting this concept into practice as I need to increase clubhead speed. Thanks for the tip
My pleasure Tony, all the best
This is amazing. I can't wait to try this
Hope you enjoy it Stephen
Danny, you have completely helped me understand my problem with slicing. Thanks!!!
Brilliant. Thanks Danny. Best vids out there!
Thanks for the support
Really excellent lesson Danny, thank you!
My pleasure!
New golfer here - love the simple approach and makes so much sense, can’t wait to practise this later.
Enjoy Brent, let me know how you get on
Follow Danny to a tee 👌 love his video
as always fantastic coaching - my mantra for the coming year is to relax and let the club do the work. The feeling of letting go should be easy but never is, I've now tried to go to the driving range when no one else is there and it really does not matter where the ball goes as there simply is no one to impress. It is when I try too hard that the bad shots come. Relax, swing repeat. Many thanks.
Absolutely, enjoy you practice
Danny your advice and methods are so interesting and inspiring. There can be no better demonstration of how to release the club, thereby creating more clubhead speed through the ball. That’s what it’s all about, sweet impact and square club face. The other noticeable factor here is how you remain beautifully on plane throughout the swing. Great instruction, and it’s free!
Thanks Danny, take care.
I think when you truly let go its very difficult to get off place because the club head won't allow it
Great content Danny like the content on the release of both arms also shows the connection with the body and a smooth rhythm to achieve around 90mph swing speed for us seniors cheers 🍻..
thank you Trevor, wanted to show you the possibility of how much speed you could create even with little physical strength
Love these "feel" coaching methods. Thanks
You're so welcome Rod
Always look forward to your tips on Saturday, usually before I go to the course, but alas, it’s practice at home for now. Thanks Danny great drill.
Yes, don't know about you Ron but its a little 🥶 here
Danny, I watched this video last night and this morning right before I went to play. Your simple instruction and great visual of the swing helped me improve my driver today. I used this same technique and improved my iron play as well. It worked! Thanks! Going through the rest of your videos this weekend.
That’s wonderful Jeff, well done
Danny, this is magnificent instruction. Thank you!
You're very welcome Patrick
@@DanielMaude
You’re welcome Danny. There are many RUclips instructors on the internet. In my opinion you are one of the very best.
Nice video Danny, keeping it simple, stay safe...
Thanks, you too David
Makes so much sense. I will definitely try this.
That one line about the hook is really eye opening for me. I haven't been able to hit my driver this summer, I've been hooking it super bad. What you just said made me realize that I am probably trying to hard to get a lot of lag, which is causing me to drag the handle through for too long. Your drills are always super helpful - being able to focus on the feel rather than swing thoughts is fantastic. You are seriously my favorite golf instructor on the web.
Great to have you here, thanks for the feedback
Thanks Danny, I'm a dragger flipper rope hooker (sounds like a country song). My golf buddies will yell FORE LEFT when I address the ball! I'll definitely work on this drill. You really do have a very simple way of getting the right concepts across, thank you, I always appreciate your help!
Great comment, still chuckling as I write!👏
Just found you! What a great tip, I played today (live in Spain) and this tip will help me improve my driving. Thanks
Really hope so Terry, welcome to the Channel
As good as always. Wouldn't expect anything else. Thanks Danny
Glad you enjoyed it carl thanks for the feedback
Watched 100’s of youtube golf vids but only recently discovered this channel. Can’t stop watching now the instruction is so good. Really helping my game .
Welcome to the channel Johnny
Danny,
I'm going to start playing one handed. Those were decent drives 😁
As always thanks for the tips.
you will be amazed at what you can achieve in all departments
This drill/lesson really speaks to me, I’m sure that a huge number of us don’t realise the importance of the momentum of the swing of a club head without other body complications. We’re putting the effort in all the wrong places. I’ve been concentrating on all the technical aspects of the swing and hit fairly straight, but this costs in distance (lack of). This is bound to remedy that. I can't wait to get to the range to put it to the test.
Thanks Danny
You are very welcome Tim, all the best
Great video Danny you make it look effortless. 👍🏻
Thanks again Danny - very straightforward & practical advice. I much prefer this sort of thing to that which gets so technical, it's difficult to put into practice. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Tony, yes I much prefer things that don't hurt my brain 😁
I shall give this a go as soon as the ice on my drive way clears. As it is, a sway rather than a pivot would have me on my backside. Though that might be useful feedback!
Funny 😁 Have fun David
I'm 69 and I still hit it 280, we always called that swinging through the ball, not at it. Makes all the difference in the world.
absolutely Paul
Hi Danny! I was struggling with my swing for years now and had several lessons with PGA coaches and none of them saw the main issue that made me thin it and not gettting the right contact with the ball. It wasnt my stance, it wanst my backswing, it was my release. But none of the coaches so that.
I saw too many videos about how to create lag in the downswing that I totally forgot the most important thing: the release.
Your videos and advices brought me back to the basics and now i hit my irons and my hybrid flush again.
Thank you so much!
Now I'm on for the driver :D
That’s great Chris, well done
Danny I love your videos. You always seem to post one that is JUST what I'm working on LOL.
Simple and straightforward explanations of problems and fixes that many of us out here struggle with. Far too many teachers over explain or complicate things and make my head spin. I steer friends to your channel all the time.
Keep up the GREAT work and Happy New Year.
Thank you John, I appreciate that!
Simple, easy to follow, brilliantly explained. Thanks Danny. If I wasn’t in bed on a Saturday morning, I’d try it right now. As it is, it’ll have to wait for a few minutes more.....
Get yourself up Andy 😬🥶
“Legend Danny Maude here!”
Hope the golf lesson helps Noel, thanks for the feedback 👊
@@DanielMaude your lessons always help!
Great vlog Danny, that makes so much sense, thanks
You are very welcome Steven
thanks again danny, cant wait to get these techniques back out on the course !
Have fun Zac
I feel that having played golf a few times that it is an easy game to learn. I have never lost.
Only problem I have had is getting the ball through the little windmill.
Yes that can be a little tricky 😄
Part III of your legendary series about the Catapult drill. Well done, Danny
Absolutely Michael, thanks for the feedback.
It may rain cats and dogs like today and all Golf Clubs closed. What you only need is a Video from Danny on a sad Morning and the day gets started😊
That was a brilliant lesson! So simple and beautifully explained. Thank you
You're very welcome!
Really looking forward to trying this. I been struggling with driver and I defiantly collapse the right arm very early and never really thought it was an issue. So excited to get to the range!
Enjoy Brian
Love this.
Would the same "pendulum feel" concept apply to irons as well? Seems to me to be a great way to swing all clubs yes (allowing for setup etc per club of course) ?
Absolutely Steve
This makes alot of sense, hopefully it cures me "skying" the ball as well.
Hope so
Such a good video again Danny thank you 👍. I'm combining this swing thought with your "101" tip from a few weeks ago and it makes the swing seem so connected. Looking forward to trying it out on the course when permitted!
Good luck Tony
Love Danny. He simplifies everything in golf. Awesome content Danny keep em coming
my pleasure Christopher, thanks for the feedback
Thanks Danny, I cant wait to try this drill (nice sunny day in Melbourne :). I presume the same feeling applies to irons?
Absolutely David, may try a follow up with irons next weekend
I have to say Danny, I'm really impressed with your one-handed swing!
it's easy than you think, you can do it too
Hello Danny. Another great tip and this is what i have been searching for the last few years because i always knew that i couldn't release my driver correctly. I cannot wait until Spring arrives and hopefully, i will be able to practice more this year. Thank you always for sharing your great tips and techniques with golfers around the world!🙏. Have a great weekend.👌👍👍
and you Kham, have a great weekend
I have struggled with slicing my driver for decades. I usually don't even take it out of my bag during a round of golf. This drill has changed my swing completely! Swinging the driver with one hand helps me to feel where the hands should be at the top of the swing. I do naturally what it takes to have an inside to out swing. I have been to the range twice now hitting beautiful draws, sometimes a hook which I am working on, but no slices! Super grateful Danny!
That’s wonderful to hear Scott, hope you are safe and well
Morning Danny would that swing apply to irons has well 👍Dave Bateman love it
Absolutely Dave 👍
Hi, Danny. Same for woods on & off the deck?
Absolutely, may create a follow up this Saturday for fairway woods and irons
Great video Danny! Super easy to understand. I love the way you break this down.
Glad it was helpful David 👍
Wow! Awesome instruction. One of the best I have seen yet!
Thank you, really happy to help
Hi Danny. Thanks for the helpful video. I learned to "let go of the club" when Brian Sparks suggested I loosened my grip to about 3 out of 10. Amazing tip to add to what you have just shown.
I am lucky to be living in NZ where everything, except strict border control, is almost normal so I will be on the course about 3 times this week!!!! Peter Fryer.
must be amazing Peter
Cup of tea in bed and a lesson from Danny, perfect.
You are awesome, have a great Saturday 👍
Awesome Danny. Going to put that in my warmup drills
I love your method of teaching Danny. You make it so simple. Thanks mate.
Really happy to help your golf Ron 🙏
Perfect lesson and a great explanation of the catapult effect. I have been working on timing and getting a “feel” of the club releasing but was missing something. Your lesson covers what I have felt on occasion when the drives were smooth and powerful in feel. This will be my go to warm-up drill from now on. Happy golfing.
Happy golfing willie
Hi Danny, This isn’t ‘possibly’ the best driver tip ever it IS THE BEST DRIVER TIP EVER.
funny, thank you Dave. So pleased you enjoyed it
dunno about everyone else, but i was impressed with that first hit...i cant even hit it that strait with two hands...
I may of got lucky with that one
@@DanielMaude either way, you impressed me sir, your vids actually help to, thanks mate!
Thx to your recommendation of the orange whip, I’ve been practising that draw feeling with it like you do here. Certainly has helped cut the slice. Thx Danny.
Great tip! First time watching Danny. What a simple way to help.
Do swing drills that don't involve hitting at a ball. I feel that the legs become more involved.
Absolutely Anthony
He got more yardage out of a single-arm injured swing than I do from an able-bodied two-armed swing. I need serious help!!!
You can do this John, all the best
Uh huh! Ditto. I can hit a PW 120 yr carry. And my driver 80 more yards!
Well done Danny, one of the best and most logical tip/thought I’ve ever heard. Can’t wait to try it!
Thanks Bill, all the best
I love these tips - Danny is so like Paul Wilson in his approach and that my two favourite coaches see the issues and solutions the same just make it easy to know what is the right thing - doing it of course is not so easy - i would be happy to hit the drive with 2 hands the way Danny can with 1!
Thanks for the positive feedback Chris
Now you have introduced physics into the golf swing. A double pendulum would work in the exact same way.
Like it
Why is everything on you tube THE BEST EVER. it’s INSANE. Give me a break.
Yes, not the best title in the world, note to self must do better
Always great stuff. Appreciate it!
Much appreciated jack
Great video. I really like lessons that allow me to feel what you are teaching. It is so much more effective than "positions". Thanks
You're very welcome Don
