Thank you so much! My hand issues make hand sewing difficult. This is just the tutorial I needed! My machine doesn't have blanket stitch, but I'm hoping to make the blind hem stitch work. Cheers!
Oh my goodness, thank you so much. This is exactly what I needed. I developed hand issues this past year and can't hand sew for more than a few minutes. I'm in the middle of an EPP project and was worried I would never get it done. Now I will be finished with my quilt top in a couple of weeks! Thank you!
I'm new to EPP and wanting to make a similar table topper for my side table where I sit and put my coffee on it. What "heat resistant" material do you use? I'm so excited to give the machine method a try to quickly make my topper. :) Thank you SO much for this tutorial!
It is similar to a blanket stitch except it is double sided. Straight stich down the middle and then the machine makes a stich to the right - straight sitch - stitch to the left. Hope this helps.
What type of tutorial would you like to see next?

I'm going to try this on my Queen of Diamonds quilt! Your method looks better than the zig-zag with monofilament thread.
I have had a Just Judy quilt ready for years & would likke to finish this way instead of hand sewing. Any tips???
