great video ! did you know that you have to add sharpness in post with sony ? see detail settings of your picture profile settings i think it is -7 or something ( my camera is at -7 i add 15 to 30 % sharpness in post dependence in the lens

I had a Sony a73 before my A1 you can shoot 4K 60p it will look better when panning a lot 60p shutter 1/120 or 30p 1/60 with 30p you will have one stop more light 👍 what lens did you use in this video 14mm GM ? Try to export in a high encoding setting 120 /150Mps for youtube i do for 8K 150Mbps in CBR biterate encoding setting for best continues quality
@@darekm101 i see you have national park videos . . . about filming in National Parks in America if you upload them to youtube and gain revenue from it you do commercial filming so you need a film permit and a park fee without you will get a fine on youtube from the nps.gov so be careful , if you buy stock footage i think you will be OK , without 1000 dollar plus fine , i think ( google for it )
@TheFlyingDutchMan8K yup. I film Hybrid Log Gama 3. On Sony 16-40mm F4. I used to do a lot of landscape Long Exposure, so that lens was great. I edit in Davinci Resole in HLG rec 2020 and export in HLS rec2100. A1, NICE!!! Well done my friend. Sony a74 goes up to 60p. I’m stuck at 30 or would have to drop to 1080. I might upgrade one of these days to Sony A74. I did learn about exporting in CBR at 120. Since you do 8K now. Does YT stream in 8K already? I don’t even have a capable TV to check.
@@darekm101 Sony A74 is good camera ! yes 8K on youtube , i removed the 4K and 8K logo i will have more views , nobody clicks on 8K video if they can't open them ;) ( i learned with the sony a7III that you can over expose with 0.7 EV for more detail in the shadows ) i go switch to HLG3 i think . . . need to test it with evening videos i can expose at 0.0 EV so i will not blow out my windows . . with slog 3 i have to over expose with 2 stops so it will blow out for sure with that high iso ( i'm still learning )
