1) I think it's important to talk about health with your significant other if you want to enjoy your life with them for a long time. A year before we got married, me & my husband joined weight watchers together. It helps with accountability and it was the best decision for both of us. 2) I also don't believe in soul mates. I married my husband because of the values we share, his intelligence and the fact that I could see myself growing old with him. Plus, he can fix just about anything 😉 haha. But maybe that's the definition of "soul mate." 🤷♀️
I really like your two weeks idea for long distance relationships. That is definitely extremely smart when deciding whether or not you want to put in the effort for a LD relationship because it can be SO hard.
in terms of the first question she answered, i think its important to remember that getting hurt is part of life and if you always take the easy path you never learn anything and its harder to grow as a person. also as a demiromantic its unlikely for me to be in a short term relationship, but i think casual dating sounds fun and if it ends, so be it, nothing is permanent. it doesnt need to last forever for it to be special to you. or even if its not and it was just a fling then it was fun while it lasted, then you move on. simple. ofc if someones more comfy w longterm then thats cool too :)

Great video. I met my husband when I was 17. Eight months later we got married. I know I was very young but I felt deeply in my hearth that he was the one, and he was 19. We talked to our parents, pray about it and everything went smooth. It has been 20 years now, and I love him more than the first day I met him. He is a wonderful man, husband and father.☺️ I don’t recommend to other young people now days to do that unless God puts it in there hearth. ( there has to be maturity and prayer) Him and me waited to be physical after marriage. It was very worth it.

You give REALLY good advice, especially for one who is so young herself. You clearly think deeply about things, and do your research as well, including listening to others and observing. I especially liked what you said to the girl whose boyfriend wasn't yet able/willing to say that he loves her. I think that young men often don't fall in love as easily or quickly as young women do. It takes them a little longer--to "surrender," perhaps?--and it's good if a girl can be patient for a month or two, and let them get comfortable with these new types of emotions. But it's also good to put a time limit on it and not end up being a doormat to a young man who isn't ultimately that into you--as they say, but just likes being adored (and wants sex or whatever.) I do believe in the general idea of soulmates, but I don't think that we each have just one, nor do I think that being soulmates exempts either of you from having to make a genuine commitment and really work at the relationship. I feel that we all have a variety of *potential* soulmates out there, and that timing is crucially important as to whether or not that mysterious factor ever becomes active, for want of a better word. And then you still must put effort into it. I suspect that lots of people are lucky enough to find a soulmate and then screw it up, because they think that the extraordinary chemistry and feeling of divine kismet that comes with a soulmate means work isn't still necessary. It always is though.

It sucks you didn't really have an answer for the holidays question. I think it depends on where everyone lives. If you all live in the same state, I think eating dinner at one family's house and then dessert at the other family's house is a good balance. If it is separate states and flying or driving far is the issue, you definitely have to switch off holidays.
Just found your channel love the videos short and to the point .What should I do if my husband doesn’t stay consistent with helping out for example we have two kids and whenever we’re going out or have to run errands my husband doesn’t really help getting the kids ready or the diaper bag he’ll just stand infront of the tv or in the bathroom on his phone while I’m running around trying to get everything together and when I have serious talks with him he’ll help out for a couple days great and then the cycle happens all over again and by the time we get to the car and we realize something we needed is missing he’ll say like you didn’t bring the babies bottle and I’ll respond sarcastically “well I got everything else together you couldn’t think about one thing we needed” and he gets mad that I’m coming off nasty to him but I feel like my attitude is justifiable being that I got two kids and myself ready and all he did was get himself ready .Idk can I have your input and please pull apart the situation I just said .
That's not fair to your or your children. He's failing as a husband and father if he is unwilling and too lazy to help. I would ask why he doesn't feel the need to help when he chose this responsibility.

Sometimes I just want him to spend time as a family with us and he just likes to be in his computer. This is putting a lot of stress in the marriage and I don’t know what to do.
From a mans standpoint, he is wrong, but you are also not justifiable in the way you respond. That isn't going to do anything but make the situation worse because he's more or less going to tune you out. I know it's hard, but communicating calmly, and effectively would get you much further. Maybe understanding or trying to hear out why he keeps reverting back instead of pinpointing it on 'he's failing as a husband' (from an above commenter) because maybe there's a reason for it that is just part of how he is. There are things like couples therapy, but that doesn't work unless both parties aren't willing to be open. And that would mean both of you. It's hard to say much more without knowing the both of you, but I hope it gets better one way or another!

Best way to strike up a conversation is to ask questions about them but keep them mostly light hearted. What are his favorite bands, movies, etc. and then you can tell him your favorites and so forth. I'm in my first relationship at 22 and it's also my boyfriend's first relationship so being conservative (and in my case, Christian) made it feel like I would never find someone but God/the universe always has a way of putting the right person in one's life.

I’m pretty sure I had it in February of 2020 because I worked in a restaurant and half the staff were sick with terrible dry coughs and fatigue, but in the restaurant business you work sick so we just got each other sick and we’re all miserable and terrible at our jobs. I still have respiratory issues from that illness and it’s been almost a year now
