YESSSSS, this is great! I will be doing this with my plum tree for sure. I used this method with my apple and I love it. I put plum, nectarine and apple near each other and I keep them controlled, works perfectly.

My jujube grow ground 1year ,tree don’t have branch in bottom just top only can I still prune knee height
Can I grow jujube in container and cut to knee height just buy 2 more branch top only thanks
Yes, you can grow it in a pot, and you can prune it to knee height even if there aren't lower branches. Pruning it that way will encourage new branches to grow.
With this method, should I still hope and expect to grow enough root of three or two to be able to can extra or just enough for fresh eating?
Yes! I get enough peaches to eat fresh, can, and share with friends and family!
So if I do this with a mango tree, will it also die earlier than a normal tree? I'm asking this because I never knew mango trees had a lifespan, since we have a grandfather mango tree at our property that is well over a 100 years old and still produces fruit. It is crazy high and crazy wide, so we only get to eat mangoes that fall down.
It is better to start when a tree is young. Older trees don't take heavy pruning well.
Decreasing lifespan by 5 years doesn't mean fruit trees pruned to manageable size only live 5 years. It means a 30 year old apple might expire at 25 years. People don't want to invest big money for nice trees if they're only going to live 5 years, then they'll have to dig them up, and buy another expensive tree.

Please any advice for those who live in the tropics?
I haven't lived in the tropics, so my knowledge about growing fruit trees there is limited. The main difference would be that trees in the tropics will have a different dormancy cycle than temperate climates, and that will change the timing of pruning. I wish I could help more!
It’s late September and the plum trees I just bought have a few branches and leaves. The main trunk is just over 1/2 inch in diameter. Should I make the drastic cut as soon as I plant them or wait until they’re dormant later in the winter?
Definately wait until they are dormant.
i planted my trees two weeks ago, they are two and three yr old stock, can i still cut them back now
Congratulstions in your new trees! I would wait until next spring, or whenever the best time is in your area for dormant pruning, to do any significant pruning. You can do summer pruning g where you basically give ut a haircut and remove up to half of the new growth for this year.
I have couple Asian pear. I want to prune and keep it small. So, We keep central leader or open center
or....something else. Thanks
A modified central leader is best for pears if you would like to keep them small.
We planted the fruit trees a week ago , I live in zone 5B, it seems like the trees that we got are approximately 4 years old. I have definitely Missed the timeline for aggressive pruning.
My question is is it okay if I wait until next year end of winter to do aggressive pruning or is it too late?
You can start next year with agressive pruning, but you can also do some summer pruning in August this year. Take off half of any new growth that you get.
I have done very similar with woodglut designs.
I have not heard of woodglut designs! Do you have videos showing what you do?
