      That was the season Steph was finishing his degree and the team slacked down while he was kinda MIA. Then right before the regular season was over, Steph snapped back into himself and that is when the momentum took the upswing for that team.

      @Iqnacio. 3 дня назад

      @@sueprator9314 There were plenty of reasons for that inconsistent regular season, it was also the season in which Steph broke the 3pt record and both him and the team were clearly forcing it, he was taking forced shots and the team was feeding him even if it wasn't the right play so that got him into a cold streak. Then it was also Klay coming back and reinserting him into the system and rotations. Both Steph and Draymond dealt with injuries throughout the season, plus Draymond was also at his lowest moment offensively, and also if we are being honest, just off of names the team wasn't really _that_ talented.
      If you go strictly off of regular season performance and stat sheets it's no wonder the Dubs were overlooked in the playoffs, but then again everyone who did watch them and knew basketball was pretty aware that they were a sleeper for the chip, the team had nearly perfect fit and chemistry, all they needed was some rhythm which was exactly what they got at the end of the regular season and especially the 1st round when Steph came back.

    The difference is that in 2024, the Celtics got Jrue. In 2022, they got Smart who lost them that series by chucking ill-advised threes and not defending Curry on the three. Of course, Tatum's bad series played a part too. But just having an experienced Dwhite and Jrue would have allowed them to beat GSW in Game 4 . They lost that series in Game 4

    The Celtics had talent but were inexperienced in competing against a veteran Golden State Warriors team. The Warriors' defense won it all as they forced JT into many turnovers and made our guys, who were streaky shooters at times, try to beat the Warriors. The Jays carried the offense that year in 2021-22, but the role players around them were not consistent.

      @@w00deey12the thing is, the warriors specialty has always been a switch heavy, help heavy defense. The problem with trying to run the triangle against the warriors is that their coach was one of the point guards for the dude who invented it. Few people on the planet know the triangle better than Steve Kerr, and the warriors themselves run many sets based off of triangle actions. Like, I've DEADASS seen steph, Draymond, and Klay triangles run from the logo BY DESIGN. So I'm not sure you'd want to run triangle against a team that in some ways runs the triangle themselves. Cause they'd probably recognize your sets pretty quickly
