7:10 excellent point - Jags have a specialist problem. That works if you're final 4 team. 9 wins doesn't cut it. Can't be loaded with too many specialists.

I'm a new Jags fan. I'm getting up to speed by watching the games and knowing who are the impact players and upcoming free agents for 2025. Oluokun was a name I had on my priority list. Glad the #Jaguars paid him. He makes plays.

As a Mac Jones fan, Jaguars did a lot more than Belichick/Kraft did in NE. Bill drafted CB, DE, S, G (who never played), K in that order in 2023 draft. This was after signing an injured Juju Smith Schuster and letting Dhop sign with Titans... Pederson did a lot for Tlaw. Is it enough? No. But thats because the team is focused on getting smart football players. That works so long as you draft well. Tlaw isnt gonna win anyone with he had no help since his rookie year was so poor. Its on Tlaw in year 4.

@@TheFinalBossEngagedMacJones situation being bad doesn’t justify the Jaguars situation. Heck year 1 people were arguing if Mac Jones wasn’t the best QB in that draft bc of his numbers. The Jags have effectively killed 2 of the years they have had with TLaws rookie deal with 1) the Urban fiasco and 2) last year not adding a lot of quality talent who could help contribute immediately. It doesn’t mean those players are all busts but right now none of those guys are lifting the ceiling. Putting it all on one guy to do so is insane to me especially when you can’t even protect him properly.

Meant to respond to the Cam video, but in short I agree he’s the short term answer and honestly until you have a replacement he’s definitely better than the team w/o him. I agree the team definitely has to either draft or develop better. I like the resigning of Oloukun bc it probably lowers cap and I think they probably should do the same with Kirk. That being said I also really would like to see the team in attack CB, WR, OL, DT, and TE in the draft. TE is one of the positions that scares me the most bc what happens if Engram goes down, bc there is little reason to have faith in anyone behind him.

But I think they're sleeping. They're sleeping on Walker little.I think he's a better left tackled.Than they got right now but there pain other guy more money

The qb of the defense #23 extension is creating more cap space. Perhaps a trade coming down the road. Maybe #5 from Cincinnati? Maybe #11 from SF? Could Muma be a part of a trade?

This is a very good to see them do for a change. I just wish they did this with Daryl Smith back in the day. He was one of our best. No matter what some say. There are others they should have kept or resigned for good reason.

If Mac Jones gets to play, everyone gonna be seeing my posts Unlike many Patriots fans, I believed in Mac Jones and I cut my fandom off from New England. That said, I'll back Trevor. I'll tolerate his fan base. Also, I'll tell you there's something to your post. It's the unknown factor and I see it like you... How committed are they? how much does Tlaw have to prove it... Also, Pederson hasn't shied away from winning a championship with a backup. He's an old school guy that would understand Mac and its something to watch. I don't plan on pushing that agenda here since I hated how it was done to Mac in NE. But the one thing I learned is, the media loves a QB controversy. NFL likes it too,. The minute TLaw throws his first pick, has his first fumble, there's gonna be a camera shot of Mac... It's inevitable.

@@TheFinalBossEngagedwell they must like him enough to start discussing a contract extension. Mac is an insurance policy in case Trevor is not able to stay healthy. He also could be used as trade bait if Trevor ends up being the franchise qb we all thought he could be.

@@hazeleyedsoul3282 One issue Trevor faces that no one has discussed yet but will shortly: his H2H record vs other teams. 8 teams he's 1.000%, 1 team .667, 4 teams he's.500 and everyone else is below or 0 wins.
One could say: Trevor has h2h win % vs only 9 teams or Trevor has a h2h win % of .500 or less vs 23 teams.
That's not good. And when someone connects the dots, it'll reflect on him and him only...

Good lord...stop this "all they draft are offball linebacks"...they draft 2 early in '22 and got 1 in the 4th round last year. Thats 3 out of shoot idk like 25 draft picks? Its not accurate.
Also, we're quick to feel good about the back to back 9 wins bc its not easy to do it as quickly as we did. Hell we hadn't done it b4 since W was President. As always: you gotta walk before you can run...

Trevor Lawrence is not worth 45-50 million. That will cripple the team even more. I don't think the Jags got better out of the free agency. The only thing saves Trevor is if Doug calls the play. Trevor needs mega talent around him to be successful which proves he's not worth 50 million

His 2nd season, he had top 5 WRs and TE his 2nd year in the league. Their WRs were 2nd year and last top WRs room. Top RB..Trevor has much more talent around him than other teams. 49ers, Bengals, Chargers somewhat, Eagles, Vikings maybe. And some of them teams don't have better or more talent around the QB. Name the teams and players other than Bengals and 49ers. Did you see Patrick Mahommes make it happen with no star WRs. Just a TE
