The bracelet DOES have microadjust...give them a "tug" and they pull out. Its really slick (on the c63)
Will give them a test prior to the review 💪
@@BensWatchClubthe consort bracelet and the twelve bracelet don’t have micro-adjust but they will have a Christopher ward have developed a micro adjust for the twelve bracelet on the skeleton one
I just received my C60 Trident Pro 300 last week and I'm absolutely in love with it. First thing I did was unscrew the crown and you're right, it's like silk. I've yet to find a fault with mine. I got the Bader bracelet with the on-the-fly adjustment. It's the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn.
Great unboxings. Keep it up!
You are fiddling with the watch constantly!
More static shots/close ups please :)
I know, Hes moving it around so much I cant get a good look at it. he must have ADD.
You can tell the difference between a review done by a reviewer familiar with the brand and one done by a random reviewer.
Honestly appreciate reviews from someone who isn’t familiar. Less bias
As a fellow small wristed guy I’m pleased to see you’ve got this pair in to give us your opinion!
Agreed. Loads of women and gentlemen have smaller wrists. We need more for these underserved customers. I’m rocking a 8 1/8” left and 8 1/4” right so I can wear almost anything. I’m more into Daytona’s, (unfortunately I just bought a house so I had to sell it and my GS Snowflake) but I’ve been wearing a Timex X Jacquie 36mm in mother of pearl. (Obviously a ladies watch, I bought for the wife) and I must say it looks fantastic for dress.
I have the Nordic blue 12 and I’m impressed with it, feels like real quality definitely a step up from the PRX. When you put it on you get that Luxury feel
good review! Liked it, felt honest
If you look closely on the 12, the dial is a motif design of their logo
@3:43 will look to pick this up soon as it is a great looking watch and a lot of value for the cost. I do agree with your observation though in that it seems the bezel might be a bit on the thin side
got my 39mm C63 Sealander GMT with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I have the same size wrist do you recommend this watch ? I think it's good to hear from someone who actually owns the watch compared to a review.
@@juniorjohnson5961 Always difficult to recommend, as in my eyes, watches are highly subjective. If you like the looks, I would definetly check it out. For me personally, it wears fantastic. And with CWs return policy, you can return it during the first 60 days, if you're not convinced.
Longines Conquest can hide under in this case. It looks cheap, especially in black dial with printed indicies like an alpha, unfinished product released to public. That’s the shame, that the microbrand made 10 times better watch in terms of quality and details than the brand with such a history.
CW seems to become an even better watch purchase as time passes. They've been doing so much right.
Changing their logo was one of the smartest moves they ever made.
the nkuwan would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
CW makes absolutely excellent watches for the money. Also, ignore people who trash talk the service. I had one go in for service after 4 years and another after 4.5 years. Both done smoothly and without a long delay, all under warranty. The 5 year warranty is legit.
A smaller dial and bigger bezel would really make that gmt look small even on your wrist.
I have an 8 inch wrist and I have a few 36mm pieces which I think look great.
Love my Twelve (Nordic blue 40mm) - highly recommend
The twelve is completely fantastic. Highly reccommend
The gmt looks like a perfect fit for your wrist 👌
I like these a lot. Clearly they're setting out to offer good value, which I respect. And I really appreciate that CW actually tried to make their intergrated bracelet sports watch a bit different from everything else in that market space. I'm a fan 👍
Christopher Ward has good customer service, hopefully you will not need it. My C63 has just broken down for the second time, mine simply stops and refuses to advance the time. Somehow I got a dud, and hopefully this time the movement will be swapped out. The movement has never worked for more than a few months, this time it worked for about a month. I have had mechanical and automatic watches for more than fifty years, I know how to care for them. I am waiting to hear back from CW, hopefully today or tomorrow.
As a seasoned collector you're probably aware of the inherent flaw of Sellita SW200/SW200-1 movements, which has to do with the teeth on the reverser gear being prone to breaking off due to simply hand winding them. These movements are almost always characterized as "workhorses" in nearly every review I've seen, but there is a certain delicacy about them that doesn't seem to get mentioned very often. Hope you get your problem sorted by CW.
@@jayeyesacks1604 You make an excellent point regarding the flaw in the winding train. I am waiting to hear back from CW. I have not had the watch back in my possession for more than a few weeks. In this case, I do not think that is the issue, the watch seems unable to release the mainspring tension, the second hand will begin to advance and then reverse its travel for a couple of seconds and then simply stop, this happens if you try to give it a wind manually, not a full wind, just a few turns, If this is a result of missing teeth on the reverser, that gear may as well be made of cream cheese. I am not trying to be overly sarcastic, sorry if it seems so. If the reverser cannot take even a very slight windup manually then there should be a caution issued which states " Do not use the crown for anything other than changing the date and time" I think that Damasko strengthened their in house movement by upgrading the Reversing Wheel using steel? If CW repairs this movement under the five year guarantee I don't think that i will ever again use the crown to wind even a few turns. Thank you for your input on this issue.
Nice watch, but I prefer the Farer Lomond or Exmoor over these. Both £895 and Swiss made with British design.
the gmt case is very similar to seiko alpinist. anyway gorgeous watches as always from CW
These are both watches I have had my eye on. Nice!
The second is like Tissot and Rolex had a one night stand. Looks good though.
Is this an alternate for Ben’s Watch Club or just his voice double?
The price I see is €1315. is that under $1000?
Nope
you gotta hold the watch still while speaking for the video (i get talking with your hands but just makes it tougher to see the watch in this style video)
You know, I really like CW, and every time I watch a review I just can’t get it through my head how you’d pay so much money for a Sellita movement watch. Best example of my analysis is look at Direnzo. Their DRZ 02R Aerolite I bought for ~$800.. that watch is 2x more watch than any of this CW watches, with a Sellita movement by the way.
I will say, the Bel Canto in the original blue is my favorite CW and is well worth the money however.
Appreciate the review and gave it a like and subscribe, always good to see different perspectives on the watch community.
Also I’ll add that for the money, NOTHING comes close to the Bader bracelet they make. The quick-adjust rivals, or in most cases exceeds, most bracelets 10 times the price.
Both fit your wrist well
The way the butterfly clasp curves digs in, my mate bought a 36mm 12 for his wife and it digs into her. I fed this back to Mike France when we had a chat at the British Watchmakers Day. Interested to hear your view
Sure buddy🤨
@@BR81-iv6lt so I detected some sarcasm??
Try moving the clasp slightly off centre and wear it slightly looser .
@@johnholkham2420 it’s actually a strange design. I have several butterfly clasps and we took a good look at it, the outer horns tuck in quite a bit and done conform to the radius
I know butterfly clasps can be an issue some more than others. Most are less curved than the 12. Often one person gets on with a particular clasp and another hates it. I really don’t think this bracelet suits wearing tight and you do get a good supply of smaller 3/4 links to try and get a good fit. Also you could look for any shape edges on the butterfly and try filing them lightly. The clasp works for me adjusted slightly to on side.
I'm not sure if it's the same in the UK, but the Twelve is about twice as expensive as the PRX where I am. Nice finishing, but worth the extra? Maybe if it had that new toolless adjust butterfly clasp. Would be nice to see them side by side. I was eyeing the GMT too, but ended up going for the Lorier Hyperion since I liked its vintage style more.
Have three CWs. Great watches for the money.
Oh gosh, this is gonna be a big one. Christopher Ward is one of the best micro brands right now…
I have both watches, but in the bigger sizes, They are awesome. One question, why the second channel Ben?
Doesn't need to explain himself to your entitled self.
It looks like Seiko 5 with the same bezel
your wrist size please?
A nice watch but too much reminescent of the Explorer II in my view.
Ben is that you?
Yes, it's Ben from Ben's Watch Club.
I know wearing gloves can come off as pretentious but I’d suggest you give it a go.
Could they look duller
For me Christopher Ward was always a Sunday supplement brand and I just don't like their designs. Having said that they do seem to be in the ascendancy compared with Bremont.
So the GMT compares with a Casio ?
Don’t think so 😂😂😂
looks a lot like Rolex's Explorer II
I want the 36mm gmt so bad bruh but im poor
I just found this channel the voice sounds familiar but i can't remember my name!
Just subscribed 👍
u mean BenWatchClub..?
@@juniorjohnson5961 Bens Watch Club. He makes great videos.
CW at last!
I find it very expensive for a no-name watch. Would prefer Tissot, Longines or Certina, if it had to be swiss made. Christopher Ward sounds like the name on a tweed jacket, pipe tobacco or a cheap scotch - or even scarier, Daniel Wellington's cousin😆
The industry has led you to believe “history” is what you want, but really you want a high quality, well finished, well designed watch. The finishing on CW is leagues above Tissot.
Or a former department store in the 🇺🇸-Ward’s
The best watch under 1000$ is the TISSOT LE LOCLE!!
Hand lotion brother
Sure? Made in Swiss!!!!!
Fluted bezels male a watch look so much more expensive... Needs a flute
Raymond Weil just as good half the price
This video is not informative.
This is advertising.
£1000 for a brand thats been around for 20 years? 😂😂😂 Stop. Hublot gets laughed at but these get a pass ??
Spaghetti Scametti is much better than this prx-style Christopher Watd
Logo looks so messy
goddamn have your hands checked by a derma. that is disgusting
Tissot knockoff junk
PRX anytime! And it's cheaper than this clunk
Under 1000? Good joke
so they made a dayjust and a PRX clone... AND there is no way in hell I would pay 1000$ USD for those watches I couldn't build one same quality for 200....
$50 or $1,000, a watch has to look good. These watches: meh.
First like, First comment. Great video!
Respektos!
I love Christopher Ward watches and have an Atoll 300 in Reef Blue. I just go cold with disinterest when it’s GMT. As with most people, have zero use for that function!
"Best" in what sense? I wouldn't wear it if they gave it to me. My Casio Lineage is under $200 and is better in every way. But to each their own.
I dont want to own a watch named Christopher Ward. Who tf is Christopher anyway
Not impressed. Micro Brands are not trending, stick with the big names.
total trash
get some gloves on, please.
Yeah, Ben, I don't mean this as an insult but your hands, they do not look healthy my friend.
@@Al_Prazolam no insult from me either. I like Ben a lot.
@@Al_Prazolamwhat are you talking about? Unhealthy hands, seriously? That’s your input? 😭
@@Al_Prazolam It's an incurable condition called dyshidrotic eczema, unfortunately
Who would want a watch by a company called 'Christopher Ward'?? The designs are ugly and the logo is hideous.
mamacoo I love you so much and watching your videos makes my day brighter
