Darius Andrey mine has considerably slowed and sometimes it randomly restarts. The battery has to be charged halfway through every day that i use it. I wouldn’t recommend that anyone buy a used one but it is still good enough for me.

I just picked up the Galaxy S6 this past Saturday, and I am enjoying setting it up and learning about the various functions it has. I had an HTC M7 before this new phone, and I see improvements in this phone I did not expect versus my old smartphone. For instance, I see faster download speeds even though I am in the same places I was in before I got this new phone. I am very happy with it so far.

I had one of these. Great phone at the time, probably still decent nowadays. What really sucked about it was that mine only had 32GB of storage. Also the S6's camera still beats my S20 FE. Camera app opens faster, it snaps photos faster, and the photos look a lot more sharp.

I was talking with my sister about changing my Oneplus One with the S6 but it is going to be a kind of a downgrade because the screen is smaller and the worst part about is the battery life and another thing for me is that I can't change everything I wan't like I do with my One and I decided to wait for Oneplus Two :)
Samsung brings their A (ish) game! You're one of a few reviewers that I trust to be very unbiased and tell it like it is. Touch Jizz is pared down but still slightly cartoonish, IMO. I think their caveat here is a first class camera sensor. So many people use their smartphone to document their lives events and this camera sensor does super crispy shots. HTC keeps fucking around with rear facing camera sensors and has little success there, though there are aspects to their flagship that are killer. Kudos to Samsung for making an effort to get it right. Thank you ***** for the excellent video.
TouchWiz with the Exynos processor is a whole different beast. Living in America I haven't been able to get a Samsung device with Exynos. It's so fluid it's amazing.

Steven KC I think there are only so many ways you can put the components on the bottom of the phone through the metal bezel. And the the design of the phone in general probably forced them to have the three components down there.
I love coming back to old reviews of the Galaxy S6 because it was my first ever phone and man Samsung has come a long way but the S6 was still one of my favorite phones I've ever had.

I honesty wanted to hate this phone because they got rid of removable batteries and micro sd card expansion AND made the battery smaller with a QHD display. But after watching some reviews, I'm starting to really like it. The camera is absolutely amazing, the display is beautiful, TouchWiz is finally starting to improve, the phone is very fast, and it looks very pretty and the battery life isn't as bad as I thought it would be. You could just put the phone in power saving mode if you're not gonna be using it for awhile to extend the battery life. Well done, Samsung. You haven't made a perfect phone, but it's damn close to perfect

+Alexander Anthony I have a MacBook Pro laptop and two iPods and I LOVE my Android phones. I have never had a problem synching anything. Google is so smart I sync my iCalendar and contacts....it's all good. I don't know how much more seamless it could possibly be!

I used Samsung for ~2.5 years before it, and i went to Sony (i'm a bit their fanboy), and it's a pretty nice phone, but i have some gripe with it:- Those updates... I want them more quickly, or on time... 4.4 was supposed to come out for M2 in July, i got it around 3rd September... - Camera software (this is for Z1). A friend of mine has Z1, and it has a great camera, but it's software is dragging it down. And a few more Now, i recently read that my M2 (an april 2014) device won't be getting 5.0, i was pretty angry, and i still am. If i don't get an update for 5.0 till my contract is over (June next year), i'm leaving Sony, and if Sammy continues like this, i might go back :D

Yeah, but the problem is that M2 isn't exactly low-end, it was marketed as mid-range.... Also, Z2 isn't exactly cheap... While it's true i could've begged my father for it, i don't need a phone as powerful as that... I'm a user that can get by without a top end phone... Sony should also think about other segments of the market, and if they're thinking that if they update their older phones that no one will buy their new ones, then they seriously think that their phones are bad... If i got timely updates with Sony, and since Sony has such a nice UI (it's so light :D :D :D), i would never go back :D I'd stick with them till i, or they, die :D Sony should rethink their strategy :) They will always have me as a potential buyer, as soon as they change a few their problems :D I really like their devices, their aesthetics, UI... :D

zaki NBG do NOT buy the M9. BUY the M8. The M8 is faster, has louder speakers, better camera, CHEAPER, and lasts ALOT longer. HTC One M8 speaker lacks the bass that the Xperia Z3 offers. The M9 has that bass, yet it's too silent to be actually of use...Go compare those phones for yourself :P The S6 has THE best voice tones through the speaker. It blew the socks off me. Bass ressponse if great, high-tones are studio-monitor like. It really shocked me...Go try it out yourself.
Kameel still gonna get it and the M9 is not quiter than the M8. also if the M8 lacks bass it's the least phone i will get lol. #wubwub and i dont want the M9 just for the sound. also for the strong battery + how solid HTC One's are.

Alyssa Stepus For me, I think it's because sometimes their service sucks. Sometimes my phone rings but when I swipe to turn it on it goes straight to the home page. I guess it depends on the app's updates. If you talk to them they'll give you instructions to get a different version and that usually works. I've only had this problem for a few months but I'm planning to get a new phone so I don't care about fixing it. My sister and brother both got phones from them and they didn't have any problems. Maybe it's because I dropped my phone so many times and even though the screen isn't cracked or deeply scratched, it might've messed something up on the inside.

Lol I may get it a little later down the line, because for me it is between the g4 and the s6. The m9 isn't even that much of an upgrade for me to consider and I'd do Sony, but they aren't doing much with the z4 other than putting a sd810 in it and a better camera. Lol. I'm gonna wait til next tuesday for LG's conference and see what the g4 is like. Tired if these leaks and teasers. Lol the s6 is my number two choice right now though.
Damon Owens Trust me, you don't need expandable storage. I thought the same too but I got a 64GB Galaxy S6 and I'm doing fine and I love this phone. If you're really worried, get the 128GB Galaxy S6. But 99% will be fine with the 64GB/32GB.
FrenchVoyeur it's not even that for the most part because I came from the g2 and before that the nexus 4 and nexus s so I know I'm good on not having expandable storage and if it is a prob, I'm not giving up my g3 so I'll be good. Most durable phone I've ever had. I'm a clumsy guy who's broken a lot of phones throughout the years (Note 3, S8, S9, S20 Ultra), but my S6 has withstood years of my usage and still works today. I had to use it as my main phone again back in 2021 after my S20 Ultra broke. I eventually upgraded to an S22 Ultra a year later, but I still used the S6 as my work phone. Then I retired my S6 earlier this year and replaced it with a Pixel as my work phone.

Steven KC I think there are only so many ways you can put the components on the bottom of the phone through the metal bezel. And the the design of the phone in general probably forced them to have the three components down there.
In not complaining cause I think the headphone jack is supposed to be on the bottom. But the similarity with the iPhone 6 almost seems intentional.

I honesty wanted to hate this phone because they got rid of removable batteries and micro sd card expansion AND made the battery smaller with a QHD display. But after watching some reviews, I'm starting to really like it. The camera is absolutely amazing, the display is beautiful, TouchWiz is finally starting to improve, the phone is very fast, and it looks very pretty and the battery life isn't as bad as I thought it would be. You could just put the phone in power saving mode if you're not gonna be using it for awhile to extend the battery life. Well done, Samsung. You haven't made a perfect phone, but it's damn close to perfect

damn, this phones almost 4 years old now
and its still great, i got one for around 120 euros and its working very good, no lag in the system or in apps. The bad part is the battery wich dont last too long, but he supports fast charging so yeah, still a good phone

Adding insult to injury, on top of being completely isolated from essentially every contact and family member in my life, except for my wife and dogs, while shopping for a new phone I have had to endure so many completely inadequate, lazy, unbelievably poor excuses for smartphone reviews on youtube, etc,.

Vedang P They usually are. I myself am using an Xperia device (M2), and i'm pretty happy with it, for my needs it's perfect. I used Samsung for ~2.5 years before it, and i went to Sony (i'm a bit their fanboy), and it's a pretty nice phone, but i have some gripe with it:- Those updates... I want them more quickly, or on time... 4.4 was supposed to come out for M2 in July, i got it around 3rd September...
- Camera software (this is for Z1). A friend of mine has Z1, and it has a great camera, but it's software is dragging it down.

Now, i recently read that my M2 (an april 2014) device won't be getting 5.0, i was pretty angry, and i still am. If i don't get an update for 5.0 till my contract is over (June next year), i'm leaving Sony, and if Sammy continues like this, i might go back :D

Yeah, but the problem is that M2 isn't exactly low-end, it was marketed as mid-range.... Also, Z2 isn't exactly cheap... While it's true i could've begged my father for it, i don't need a phone as powerful as that... I'm a user that can get by without a top end phone... Sony should also think about other segments of the market, and if they're thinking that if they update their older phones that no one will buy their new ones, then they seriously think that their phones are bad... If i got timely updates with Sony, and since Sony has such a nice UI (it's so light :D :D :D), i would never go back :D I'd stick with them till i, or they, die :D
Sony should rethink their strategy :) They will always have me as a potential buyer, as soon as they change a few their problems :D I really like their devices, their aesthetics, UI... :D

HTC One M8 speaker lacks the bass that the Xperia Z3 offers. The M9 has that bass, yet it's too silent to be actually of use...Go compare those phones for yourself :P
The S6 has THE best voice tones through the speaker. It blew the socks off me. Bass ressponse if great, high-tones are studio-monitor like. It really shocked me...Go try it out yourself.

Alyssa Stepus For me, I think it's because sometimes their service sucks. Sometimes my phone rings but when I swipe to turn it on it goes straight to the home page. I guess it depends on the app's updates. If you talk to them they'll give you instructions to get a different version and that usually works. I've only had this problem for a few months but I'm planning to get a new phone so I don't care about fixing it. My sister and brother both got phones from them and they didn't have any problems. Maybe it's because I dropped my phone so many times and even though the screen isn't cracked or deeply scratched, it might've messed something up on the inside.

Lol I may get it a little later down the line, because for me it is between the g4 and the s6. The m9 isn't even that much of an upgrade for me to consider and I'd do Sony, but they aren't doing much with the z4 other than putting a sd810 in it and a better camera. Lol.

I'm a clumsy guy who's broken a lot of phones throughout the years (Note 3, S8, S9, S20 Ultra), but my S6 has withstood years of my usage and still works today.
I had to use it as my main phone again back in 2021 after my S20 Ultra broke. I eventually upgraded to an S22 Ultra a year later, but I still used the S6 as my work phone. Then I retired my S6 earlier this year and replaced it with a Pixel as my work phone.
