I literally do not understand how this is possible without camera tricks! ha. I know it's real cuz he just won the 2018 World Championship Grand Prix while doing it live. BUT HOOWWWWWWWWW???!!!! Shit literally just appears from thin air. Not veiled by his hand or anything!!! Unreal beauty, this.
@@bardson After watching it on a tv with higher def I've realized that the squares on the table are built in and flip up. You can't notice most of the seams because of the thick black felt obscuring them. that said those contraption gimmicks work really well to make you pay extra attention to his sleight of hand... where I officially have no fucking clue how he's doing anything! haha. Magic indeed
After watching several times, slow and freeze framing etc, here are my observations, assumptions, and opinions: 1. You never see the back of the cards, so I assume they are black on the back (so flipping would make them invisible). 2. The cards that appear under the card at the front is an OLED screen. You can see a transition frame when they "light up" where they are not full bright. 3. The cards at the back that appear and dispensary are being masked by black material. If you frame-by-frame that you can see them half-covered at one point. So my conclusion is, no camera tricks, but lots of tricks built into the table, and this would work live unless you were close enough or at an angle where you could see the things built into the table. Well done that it takes that much scrutiny to figure it out, and I'm not even sure I'm 100% correct.
at first I agreed a lot with your theory especially points 1 and 2 but if you take a close look in slow motion at the stack that he formed in front of the table at 0:42 you can notice that when I moves the ace of spades to align it with the other aces, also the ace of diamonds is moving, so definitely that cannot be an OLED, those are real cards. (probably the OLED ones are the 3 aces back in the original position at 0:49 before he groups them again. point 1 still strong, for sure the back of the cards is the same color as the table top
This is a gimmicked setup w/very good sleight of hand. It's made by a guy that is super smart and very good at what he does. Not camera effects. That's just disrespectful.
Very amazing! But this also leads to the 'reveal' of your Fism 2018 act. But however, it does not take away from the rest of the routine, and the Amazement amd magic of it. Truly beautiful! Yes, I know how it is done, but as a magician myself, I can/will not reveal the method.
Congratz in your path of wining agt 2019! I am a fan of both Shin Lim and you. I watched all your magic and Shin Lim's magic. You were brilliant and my favourite in Asia's got talent! I want to be a magician now!
Wow bro that was amazing. You posted this long ago and though I'm just now seeing it I love it. You are an artist, cut from the same cloth as the greats like Shin and Will - and yes, both of whom you can see in this amazing work. Nice, man, daaamn.
😮😮😮😮😦😮😦😦😦😮😮 I always thaught that shin lim was the best card magician but this is even better... Sooo pitty that you didnt use this kind of acts in agt. You could win it easily.
This guy is so good he does everything right in your face and you still cant call him out. He is using absolute black but as for how I have no idea. If you slow down at 0.25 you can see something slide over the cards but when he clicks? Wtf? There has to be a contraption involved with the black top right?
You sound so stupid "if you know what i mean". LOLOL! No material, whats wrong with you?! Its sleight of hand with a gimmick table called OLED. "know what i mean"??!
There are a screens, but not electronic ones. There are wires, but not electric ones. With a black card, you can buy each ones. In the shadow, go the forgotten ones.
This guy is the best magician I’ve ever seen. If you like magic you should watch a video with Eric Chien called “Grand Prix 2018 - ribbon” Seriously, I’ve been watching that video over and over and it gets even better each time! It’s amazing and intriguing at the same time, I don’t know how he’s doing it and it doesn’t matter because he’s so good at what he is doing 👍👍👍
Looks great on video, but I wonder if it works close-up in person. It for me falls in to the category of "too good", i.e., there;s only one way this could work (I won't tell). Still it's fascinating to watch.
@@nadeemtagale6106 It is definitely not an edited video. I definitely have something to do with his underground because there would no reason why he us it instand he make this trick directly on the table. I'm sure the trick itself is really simple, but I'm also sure it is not that easy to perform it that perfect. And one thing why magicans are amazing is there perfection, because they often need it that such a trick can work.
When the trick is so good it looks like camera tricks
He performs all his tricks live so...

The fact that there are no camera tricks is spectacular, you did a unique performance Eric Chien.✊🔥👍🤯

I agree until 0:53. How can the cards appear on the screen and he is yet able to pull em up?
@@Zoundshine sleight of hand plus built in table that supports it.
@@Zoundshine, there is no scenario where he isn't good. I could be wrong, but I assume that he has the cards palmed until the screen turns back off.

Is that possible? Or camera tricks or is the table not a normal table
If it would be a normal table, than he didn't need it and could do the trick direct on the true table. So there is definitely some magic in it too. ;)
