The only valid on this test is the water test, if the leather jacker is not yet sprayed by waterproofing. you can not determine by texture coz some TPU has the same texture with Lamb leather jacket. Lastly, the weight also is not valid too coz it depends on the linings of jackets. Some leather jacket are design to wear on a summer so it is lightweight. It is also depends on the leather how thick or thin. So if its light it doesn’t mean that it is a fake leather.
True about the waterproofing. These are mostly quick tests to do before purchase. The pinch test is my go to because typically PU will be much thinner and it will retain the crease created by the pinching much longer than real leather

Nah. I lost my jacket soo many times it's not even worth it buying a real leather jacket
Scared me on the first test, lamb skin is about half as thick.
