I went through the exact same thing myself not so long ago. Feels so weird but once you get it - it feels great!
For sure....all new things gotta feel a little different and exaggerated to start :)
I have the same issue. Very armsy swing and coming over the top. I will definitely try to exaggerate the rotation and bringing my club through my bicep on the way down.

How do you set up to record down the line and face on simultaneously and on the screen?

I have a small fade in my swing. What’s wrong with a fade if it fades back to the center? It’s hard for me to draw the ball. My shapes are fades and straight because I’m use to keeping the face squared at impact.

In regarding swing speed. Do you get more distance if you have your hands farther away from your body because the total distance between your should socket and the ball is longer and more leverage. Vs hand closer to your body but more powerful swing but much shorter levers.

Shoulders spinning too fast from the top. This has no choice but to throw the hands, and club “out” too far.
