there is no pay to win in wows. sorry you still have to sail and win the battle. i dont think they know what pay to win is. you can buy the most op ship you can think of and it always has some sort of weakness. and wows you can have the most op ship if you dont know the basic you will get your ass handed to you in the way of going to port early. pay to win is buying a ship that guarantees you a win almost every time you play and skill level should be a very small influence. it must do what is says "pay to win" those 2 clowns don't know skill if it smacked them on the forehead. cv guy is a good player and i hate cv's because that is me in my dd trying to win and this cv just keeps harassing me. the cv played very well. edit: that was not me in the game but i know the feeling of a cv that does not stop targeting you.
The Chat is the perfect example of ppl without any clue about CVs or the Bearn but having an opinion -.- Bayern, Mack and CV have no f*cking Idea what they are talking about. But yeah, the horrible OP CV is the Problem - not the BB without any AA support or the CV who tried to fly through Bearns fighters instead going around them. Or the DD that didnt even try to dodge and just kept sailing straight xDD
As a CV main and someone who plays this game since 2015 I can assure you that Carriers are overpowerd. Compared to any other ship type (even subs) they are definetly the most powerful class. Yes, the enemies sure made mistakes in this game (and could have "dodged" better) but that doesnt change the fact that any somewhat competent CV player can easily kill them.
This is the vast majority of players. Most of them havent even played a CV but for them the CVs are the root of all problems in the game (not the idiotic AA defence in the game). They dont even understand the mechanics. This is why when I play CV quite often I get reported at the start of the game by CV haters on both teams (they even state it in the chat). I stopped counting the times I got into a game and somebody scremas in chat at the start- "CVs , f***K you - uninstall the game you.......... everyone pls report both CVs".
@@mowtow90 I feel this in my soul as a CV main. I've grinded 3 lines worth and people don't understand how hard it is to actually play a cv and have a decent game. I've had plenty of games where I didn't break 30k, and the from tier 4 to 10.
The DDs are so used to others having to remember not to sail in a straight line that when they have to do so, they cry buckets of tears. The saddest thing of all is that WG has given in to their whining and nerfed all the CVs with stupidities such as the machine gun delay of the rocket planes, and reducing their accuracy. Pitiful.
If the Ryujo's guy had half a brain, he would have put the carrier on the island to the right (on the line dividing E and F rows, column 8) and automatically the skip bomber attacks would have been negated, and the Béarn would only have the AP bombers to attack, which overpen on soft targets like the Ryujo. Or he could have even moved the Ryujo so that the ship's AAs would destroy the Béarn's fighters.... But it seems like it's more fun (and easy) to cry than to think.
Late I know, but bearn fighters have higher hp than many t10 attack planes. You can sit them in t6 cv AA for about 45 seconds and still get plane kills.
To be honest I am quite new on WoW and have faced against Béarn only once. With Ryuju in the same map :D.. And when my first two squadron went down very quickly I have got very frustrated (no chat expression). So I was forced to follow other ships for better AA. Then I could do some damage but still very annoying enemy as a CV operator :). But next time I will be prepared. Always learning :)
ryujo carrier has the hardest hitting torps in that tier, and very capable citadel bombers, something to consider when your fighting back, trouble is in that game he never fought back with no fighter cover for his carrier., if he had any

It depends on the CV, Saipan takes skill, this one not so much. If youre not retarded youll do fine in Bearn and should have 60+ WR, if you dont youre not bullying enough DDs with BS skip bombers

yep, playing correctly BBs requires brain as they are the slowest ships in the game and requires having a plan of what you are going to do for the 5 next minutes. Most of the citadels requires that you put yourself in a position to have the enemies' broadside. With CVs, you can fly to the other side of the map, especially with the high tier CVs, not counting the CVs with jet planes. With CVs, you can strike without taking any risk if you want to. Meaning you do not even need to think where to part your ship. Usually, it is at the bottom of the map or behind the same islands that any other CV players are using. You don't need to guess where the enemy ships are as all you need is to send planes in that direction in order to spot the enemy ship. The only limitation of CVs is that it is damage over time. So, if there is a steam roll, the CV usually under performs.
@@VuHien2011 Of course you can do that in a CV if you like. But you should not be surprised if your impact on the game, your damage, your spooting and subsequently the game's outcome is reduced. It is an often met misconception that CV can stay at one edge of the map and go to any point of the map within seconds and make a significant impact over there. In a CV you want to be in a safe position but also close enough that you can do something important. Not overextended but also not of the match. Really good CV players like Top Tier, El2aZeR, Ahskance or Reimu Bakarei position themselves as carefully and thoughtful in a CV as in any other ship class. That's one of the reasons why they are so good in CV.
@@Harry-tb8yo "The problem "is that good CV players are rare as most bad players think they are safe by playing CVs or subs. And with the superships CVs, they can cross the map in no time.
@@VuHien2011 But being safe or surviving a battle of course doesn't mean they win. In every other ship class the survival rate to a certain degree mirrors the win rate but in a CV I think it is different. Not sure if Super CV were needed. I do not really feel attracted to them.
@@Harry-tb8yo For the bad players, surviving is already an accomplishment. And damage is not the only way a CV impacts the game. Protecting friendly ships is another important role that many CV players fail to accomplish. Regarding super CV, they are definitively not needed.
Hmm, 8 Fighter Stack to summon on each squadron Type with an Patrol duration time of 2 Minuten is indeed kinda overpowered. Skip Bombers are not easy to master, but Here seems to be the drop pattern very tight, full Hits on small DD and Cruiser broadside are nearly granted. This CV should be reworked, i saw no big disadvantages for this great Performance.
There are plenty of disadvantages. The HE skip bombers are good at killing DDs but not much else. Low pen on the bombs means you will have a lot of shatters on CAs and BBs, so your damage will come from fires. AP bombers are also RNG dependent and are low damage per bomb, compared to Weser or Ryujo. The CV itself has very low speed, so easy to get cornered and if you don't position properly and your flank gets overrun.
