We need a game mode where land, air, and sea players, can all play together. It shouldn't be hard to design maps for it.

The only hard thing is to make a GOOD Mode with actual tasks and reinforcement points
Make a map where most of the points are inland and 1 is by the shore, so even if BBs are OP they will only be affective at 1 cap.

The idea of having the catapaults on the back of ships spawn a player when they get a plane is an awesome idea, i would work well for ships like the Tone which is a hybrid. To bad they got rid of it

I would really like to see maps implemented where you can have naval, ground, and air all in one battle. Of course, they'd have to be massive so the naval vessels wouldn't be as accurate, but I think it'd work great! It would also implore people to (maybe) play the useless gamemode that is naval lol
Please do it against MBTs next.

The snail decided their fate and it was a fortunate one.
It looks like the shell didn't hit anything solid enough to actually arm the fuse until it hit the ground behind the intended victim. Of course I think the concussive effect of a 12" shell exploding should have killed the rest of the crew but w/e.

Day 4: Phly, you should play the Hawk III Chinese fighter; 900lbs of bombs in a biplane at 1.3 that you can dogfight in after dropping. Totally balanced.

Freaking classic Great War era dreadnaughts. 😃 Good to see the US Navy and Royal Navy working together. Looks like a New York class battleship with 10 14" main battery. I believe the Royal Navy ship is HMS Agincourt with 12 12" main battery. Even the German Imperial High Seas Fleet is in on it.
It's the North Dakota from Delaware-class
The Agincourt is the one with 14 12-inch guns on seven turrets.

A cool thing I found in custom battles, on Ground Strike Saipan, you can actually use tanks, planes, and ships in one battle. The plane air spawns are in perfect places so that one side gets tanks while the other gets ships. Some odd thing with the spawns I guess. I’ve tried bombarding artillery in a cruiser, pretty cool. I’ve also taken an M24 to explore, also cool.
Now imagine you being the enemy tank, well, I'd be just cussing the whole time.

People say the aircraft carrier killed the battleship age, but we all know it was the PT-76
This is the absolute best idea I’ve ever seen for war thunder videos
Use target pointing in the keybindings. It's sets and locks the range of your guns to where you are aiming at, if you lock back onto the target using the normal aiming system it resets again. Helps alot with accuracy imo.
Also first put your fire out, then repair flooding if severe otherwise do repairs second. But don't do them all at once. It increases the timer of these 3 actions because you are splitting your remaining crew up to do more tasks at once. Which makes them less effective. Just some tips :)

I'm surprised no one tried using an FV4005 SPG, the one with the 183mm HESH bombs. I reckon that would've dented a battleship better than APDS.

This actually happened on D-day, imagine being in a Panzer four or something and come under fire from the 16inch guns of HMS Nelson.
This is why Runstedt said Rommel was wrong about having Panzers right at the Normandy beach to push back the Allies. Naval gunfire is just so devastating

I rememeber a quote from a soldier in either korea or Vietnam who was having fire support from the Iowa class ships, describing the shells flying over him as freight trains going past, and the mountain he had directing the fire at becoming a lumpy hill.
