10:37 The white Teflon tape is for water applications, yellow Teflon tape is for oil applications next oil change use the yellow and it won't leak available at any big box store like Home Depot, Menards etc ... in the plumbing section =)
Why no transmission oil change? 1000 mile service calls for transmission also. With 5 quarts of oil in engine you have a good chance of getting blowby through the air cleaner. I've been putting 4 1/2 quarts in all my harleys for years. I used to get blowby with 5 quarts, now, no blowby. Just a suggestion. Also I have the 2022 FXLRST in grey. Great bike!
Mike is like a surgeon, love how his assistant (aka, son) has everything on the ready as he requests it. Nice job! Grey Ghost looks sweet. Great vid, ride safe brother!
My ST is my first ever new bike (I'm mid-60s). Dealer said "now you know about the first 500 mile break-in period, don't you?" Me: "No." Them: "Really? How long have you been riding?" Me: "Longer than you've been alive." (ok, didn't say that, but it was probably true.) Now they're telling me the first service at about 1K is very important. I'm guessing this is to make sure all the boy in Milwaukee were paying attention during assembly. Hurricane Ian is suppose to send some it its stuff up here to Metro-Atlanta on Friday......about time on my appointment. Let's all ride safe.
The el Diablo looks much better with chrome… I saw one where the dude chromed a lot of what was blacked out…. He left some black but 80% chrome… and it was absolutely amazing… the best looking one out there imo … Harley should have done that to the stock el Diablo
No. They did nothing out of just changing the fluids. I watched them. It was bend over and take it. Never have the stealership do and work outside of warranty.
@@warhorse1943 It's all comes down to what dealership you choose I guess I go to the best dealership in my region because they have that perfect reputation and customer satisfaction is everything to them! When people ask what dealership they should buy from my local HD dealer is at the bottom

Trans oil changed- but not on camera. We started with 4.5 quart in engine but it was not showing on dip stick…continued till almost 5 went in.
Those sky shots, how beautiful our earth is from above.
Great aerial footage Sandy.
Bike looks great. Congrats on hitting 9k subscribers. Look out 50k. Be well. Hope to see you soon. All the best

Thanks brother
If you buy your favorite engine oil in a 4 liter jug, it turns out to be the perfect amount for an M8 oil change since 4L =4.3 quarts.
Sandy quick tips HD makes primary funnel ...there are torque specs for all bolts including drain plugs. Belray was once a NJ company in Farmingdale.
Man, those guys made that look easy, but I'm sure I would break something if I attempted to do it! Great video sir!
The most important thing was to change the primary drive cover gasket. It was really broken and would never seal after 1000 miles of operation.

David - you’re late to this party 👍🏻 😆 LOL 👍🏻
@@HOLYSHIFT I have been riding the motorcycle

sweet way to make living.
just change the o ring's.....idc if they're in good shape or not they're cheap and just change it fresh every time.
famous last words , just joking ,nicely done .
What's the size of that wheel nut?
I didn't see him check the drive belt, mine loosened up quite a bit even prior to the first service.
We did … not on camera anyway…👍🏻
How do you like the ST vs the Street Glide?
Seems simple enough 🙂
👍
Harley dealership 1st service for my Low Rider ST was $530. I will never do that again.
Rape ! 👍🏻 😆 LOL 👍🏻
Yea but they have a check list a mile long they go through
It's peace of mind for some people

Its a easy job....Takes me longer to get my tools and moto jack out and set up and put away after its done...Than it takes to do the actual job
