I’m 5’8 and have short arms. What I did was keep my stock bars on my ST and used the Krause T-Rex Pullback plate. It raises the bars 1.5in and brings them 2.5in closer to you. I had to reroute the wiring but no need to extend cables and now the bike feels absolutely perfect for me.
Just found your channel, love it. I'm just about to swap my Sport Glide for the Lowrider ST (bike due in next 2 weeks). So found your content really useful. Martin in the UK
@@Maggieismydog hi, just looking for a change. It wasn’t something that I had planned to do. I love my sport glide and have spent a lot on getting it looking the way it is but just feel a little stale and ready for a change as there isn’t anything else I want to do to it & I’m looking forward to making the ST my own. Check my channel out to see the changes I’ve made the SG
I’m probably the one and only one that thinks the stock exhaust is fine how it is lol! Never really bothered me. Only things I switched out so far is the front turn signals and the bags…got leather pros because of the larger capacity
Thoughts on getting a road glide instead? I know the RG is bigger and heavier but it seems like it would be worth it to just take the plunge and get the RG? I currently have a Nightster special. I want bags and two up comfort. The Nightster is just not comfortable for the pillion. I do like the Low Rider ST price better than the RG. Thoughts?
I have a question about the Saddlemen seat. I'm an inch shorter than you but my wife is 5 foot nothing and gets motion sickness if she can't see over my helmet.... or easily around it. The step-up with your seat looks like it might work for us. How is your wife's view when sitting behind you.... depending on how tall she is? Thanks!
I took off the Rineharts with the bronze emblems, they were nice and sounded awesome but the droning inside a full face helmet was unbearable even with ear plugs. I have Khrome werks on the bike now, they are better but not by much. I do hear the wind more. The Khrome werks are a deeper tone. I was just thinking the Cobra’s might be a little better.

Can I ask why you are going from the Sport Glide to the Low Rider? Cheers.

Hell yeah man, cute upgrades. 😅
I wish the good ones weren’t so expensive 🤣
Beautiful bike
Try Bunk 6" riser with a 2" pullback. Works great on my FXLRST!!
Nice bike.
Ever thought about getting new bars and risers for more comfortable
Great video.
I agree with you on the exhaust. I like the shotgun look. I did the S&S grand nationals like the sound.
What turn signals are those?
Thanks! Rogue Rider Industries

That’s a personal preference. If you plan on doing long highway trips, then the RG would make sense. More city/around town stuff, the Low Rider.
Did you flash the stage 1 tune before auto-tuning?
I used what was programmed on there from Harley initially but they were assuming it was a screaming eagle exhaust.

She isn’t tall enough to see over my helmet either
@@RustedKCmoto Thank you. I guess that I'll be riding solo (could be a good thing!).
How are the Cobra RPT mufflers on the highway as far as resonating inside helmet?
Not bad at all. The wind noise is worse for me than the sound of the mufflers. I had Rinehart on my last bike, those were too damn loud lol.

@@richlinus3257They are. I’m not sure you can go much quieter unless maybe you do screaming eagle or something
Thanks for the info, I’ve got 3k on my 2023 purchased end November. When I watched your video when you were riding the mufflers sounded pretty tame.
Why this bike doesn’t have any gauge? Come on! Speedometer & tachometer!!
Digital display shows speed and rpm
I switched to the thrashing 10” riser pullback and switched to the Low Rider S gauge, it has a tach and I love that.
