Fantastic Tutorial ! You sure made a complicated looking joint Farley easy for most Woodworkers for many reasons Dovetails usually impress mostly everyone as they all seem to think that both Dovetails and Boxjoints are all done by hand ?

Had you used the Incra router lift with the router rings they sell instead of that huge hole you would not have trouble with the part falling down you would have had better and safer support.

Should have given the camera lady some protective glasses (and maybe a couple of the audience in the front row). She had line of sight to that router bit which could have shot a piece of wood toward her eyes.

That's a jackass comment to make. Maybe this is someone's first project that uses a dovetail bit in a router table. Should they not be allowed to use the tool just because they've never used it before, or they like to see a demonstration before they try it for themselves. I've been doing woodwork for several years, and sure I could have "figured this out for myself," but I never thought of it until I saw this. Discouraging someone from teaching people new skills or inspiring them to think about things in different ways is asinine, and you sound like a smug prick when you say/do things like that.
ROUTERS FOR WUSSIES! I USE A CHISEL!
Its astonishing to see that a router without an electronic brake being used....also pre marked fence positions would be ideal, and I've never seen any idiot put there finger inside the bit slot that machine is still live, this guy/ tutor needs some rapid retraining considering that he is posting videos... if he done that in my shop I'd have hauled him up..
He lost me when he shut the router off after each cut! THUMBs down.
